Floowandereezes be like True Draco and Monarch fused together tho. They have the "floodgates" half of True Draco and the "playing during opponent's turn" half of Monarch and combine to make them even better. Heck, they even run Mega Raiza in the core main deck too.
Buster Lock, Scythe Lock, Skill Drain, Full Negate Board decks… Definitely one heck of a chaotic format, actually looks kinda goofy when these decks play eachother 😂

for those who want some sort of response to this combo: 1. Maxx C and hope to nibiru before Anaconda (its 6+cards if they all in) 2. Ash/veiler/inperm Dagda 3. D.D Crow/skull meister/ghost belle/shark cannon(if you're sky strikers) their DPE if they use it their turn to pop their anaconda. 4. Chain Cosmic cyclone to their DPE popping scythe (Banished scythe doesn't trigger) 5. Kaiju their DPE if they for wadever reason do not pop it during your draw step. Outside of cosmic cyclone, the rest are quite common interactions to use/consider.
Virgin fusion: Noooo, why you can still playing after I destroy your card and lock your extra deck. I can't get ez win if you still play like that. True Chadraco: Ignis Heat, Gooooo!
BTW, for those of you who don't want to invest UR CP into Cyberse Gadget, you also have Clock Wyvern as well. Only downside is that it activates on the field and is susceptible to cards like Imperm and Veiler. So do keep that in mind.
I didn't know about this combo before until I saw a guy commenting on it last week. He said that this combo was the reason he stopped playing the TCG and many other comments saying the same thing. I confess that combos like that don't encourage me to play yugioh.
You're in for a world of hurt in the future. Scythe lock isn't the last of the broken shit. Protos hasn't been banned in MD meaning Swordsoul can also lock their opponent without DPE scythe. Brave is a free Omni negate and bounce for every deck. Branded comes after where it's an engine that dodges a lot of effects on board similar to Tri brigade. Is ran by every deck too. The OCG is in a Splight meta, where over 70% of YCS players are playing Splight. The deck searches Maxx c.

If you add a bit of toxicity to a vibrant world, then it's a destructive poison. But if you let loose the floodgates, then you get a wasteland, full of it's own unique charm, not too dissimilar to something from the Fallout universe.
Imperial Order will be very good for Eldlich DPE Adventure. You can lock the Extra deck with Artifact. Then, you can lock the spell with Imperial Order.
Another way of trying to stop the scythe lock with DPE is if you draw and use magical spring, because that one stops DPE from popping scythe, but it's most likely that you will also need to use a droplet and called by on that one
I see it's strong but how do u recycle the scythe effect? Or is the goal to just lock your opponent once then set up another combo to win the next turn?
Not sure if it would be a good/useful effort, but is there a section on Master Duel Meta for showing tech combos in various decks? Like, specifically tech card combos in multiple decks? I'm asking because it would definitely help me as a player so I can learn more the limits and potential for these kinds of cards. I'm a old player, so I have to learn a lot with the new stuff.
To be fair, Scythe is still less busted than "86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" which still hasn't been banned yet despite all him needing is 4 level 4 warriors to shutoff your opponents ability to normal and special summon, field wipe, and be unaffected by card effects with a cool 3,000 ATK/DEF on top.

If your opponent hasn't activated DPE on itself before, then yes you can out it with a Kaiju. But normally he's just on top of the normal combo, so you should still have to deal with other things.
I just love the variety in master duel. Even. By using the same cards you can achieve so many different experiences. It's why I think MD is a level above DL right now

Been playing two versions of Despia (Despia Darklord & Despia Shadoll) & they're TONS of fun to play with! Now with the DPE Engine, these will surely dominate the Fusion Festival coming up!
It not even just the lock. DPE also has a self revival meaning he can even destroy himself and just come back each turn while your opponent loses a card on their field. Not to mention the materials having graveyard effects, dasher free monster summon and celestial draw 2
This actually funny I was using this in my subterr deck like 2 seasons ago Guru could just flip the old destiny card face down so it doesn’t get Destroyed on the next end phase
That combo aside, while we're on the topic of DPE and how it will /already does dominate the meta, a quick PSA: Aleister the Invoker, or more specifically, the archetype specific fusion spell "Invocation" is a great counter to the guy. "If Summoning an "Invoked" Fusion Monster this way, you can also banish monsters from your field and/or either player's GY as Fusion Material." Invoked Augoeides needs Aleister the Invoker + 1 Fusion Monster and banishes both form the GY, thus shutting the phoenix guys annoying self revive down for good. Invoked Caliga, which needs Aleister + 1 DARK monster also works, since fire chicken dude is a dark type. Oh, and Invoked Mechaba banishes whatever it negates, which also gets rid of it if your opponent falls for it, thiknig it would just come back next turn.

For budget players get x3 Albaz strike and run x3 back to the front and trap trix with scythe. Go first and into your normal combo dump albaz and scythe and set trix or back to the front and it’s game from there…
We can try but we will lose other OTK version and our deck would be a mess since we need so many cards just to do this combo so like what dkayed feature only eldlich can really use this combo aside from cyber cards.

You can get a negate on field at the same time you try getting crystron fiber and artifact dagda during ur opponent mp1 use both effects set scythe summon t.g wonder magician then use wonder magician effect on synchro summon pop your scythe use sythe to summon itself then use wonder magician quick effect to quick synchro scythe and t.g wonder magician to synchro to baroness de fleur. End board is a negate and your opponent cant use the extra.
It’s pretty op, I play proxy’s and I picked up the basic pheonix enforcer combo with the celestial and have come to love it, it’s cool that it’s in the game too
Yeah, the combo is good, but I still think if you just want to Scythe lock your opponent, the Halq combo is the better one. Gets you Baronnes instead of DPE and doesn't require to play bricks. Of course you can also play both.

You can't clearly say witch on is better, but if you just want to lock your opponent Halq probably is the better one, because it 1. requires one less material, because Halq summon one from the deck 2. doesn't need to play 2 bricks 3. Can dodge some interruptions on Scythe, Impermanence for example 4. Can lock your opponent 2, if he doesn't manage to out Baronnes (without his extra deck in the first place) Of course DPE has some other advantages, but it isn't the better one at all

You usually OTK next turn, you already have 4700 atk on board.

DPE was worth all the hype all i can say. Every fucking deck i encounter finds a way to sneak that damn phoenix and fd in their decks
