I personally find it interesting that anybody working on a game would risk their reputation and potential money by being an asshat or incompetent. I mean he probably doesn't care, but as a consumer, YandereSim initially seemed super interesting and fun to me, and now, I honestly could care less because I feel like even if he were more skilled at programming, he would still purposefully take forever and purposefully use inefficient coding. While I would be super excited to see a complete YandereSim, I have come to terms that it's never going to be complete.

That's where I started seeing red flags--all the new whacky content. I watched Jay from TheKubzScouts (I think that's how it's spelled) play Yandere Simulator frequently in 2016 and, although it made for great new content, I was always like "How is the dev managing the base game and all these new features by himself?" Then I forgot about the game until recently and found out the answer: he doesn't.

I rlly liked yandev for putting hard work in the game....when i was 12 years old.....know at 15 when i watch this vid i finally noticed that his awfulll.....
took him 6 years to create a character, he literally promised the game was going to be ready in 2019/2020. the worst thing is that theres more characters to be made, so lets see osana=6 years x 9 (rivals) = 54 years. ok, in 54 years the game is going to be done
Wait he’s actually done with osana now lol I stopped following him after watching a similar vid around 3 years ago and only now he’s finished with 1 rival??? I’m actually a comp sci major so this really puts things into perspective
The year is 2023. YandereDev has just been outed as an actual pedophile after multiple screenshots of him having inappropriate conversations with underage fans have been released. But is there anyone who *didn’t* see this coming?
considering he made a whole rant on why he thought the age of consent should be lowered I'm surprised there wasn't anybody putting him on a list years ago
@@nessmarie6044nono, not *lowered*. He argued there should be no age of consent, and we should instead have a sex license exam. And that if a 14 year old passes it, they can have sex. Which would be hysterical if it wasn't so bad.
yet there are still people who support him, saying "oh he apologized!!!!11!!1!1" just because he made an "apology" video doesn't automatically mean it's sincere.

Biggest Flex: make a game called Kamidere, where you play a girl trying to get a boy she likes to worship her by designing events where she can 'save' other people and prove how amazing she is. Make all the characters have similar but not quite the same names and stereotypes, and uses similar but different mechanics. *Finish it before he finishes his game.*
that´s an amazing idea and the comment is underrated. I hope somebody with the ability to program a game sees it and actually makes it come true. I wish I could do that but I don´t even have the basic knowledge on how to program something
When he was making fun of yanderedevs code I felt kind of called out and annoyed since I do a lot of the same things and related. Then I realized I’m like 4 months into a public school coding class with a teacher who hasn’t coded since the 1990s, and don’t have any prior knowledge. Wonder what that says about Yandev.
This is all just ridiculous.. Even if your report really was useless, why on earth would he take the time to answer rudely to every single stupid email he gets? Why not just ignore it? Even if you had written him another supposedly useless email, the time it takes to read and delete them would be so miniscule compared to actually replying all the damn time...
Baguette Gott exactly. Maybe if this fool wasn’t wasting time responding to emails like a dick head he could actually get at least ONE rival out by the time he predicted the full game would be released??? Hmmm
So... remember Don't Starve? It was available during early access. It took one year to go from the first public version to full release. In fact, Adventure Mode, the section where you actually finish the game, took six months from first public version. He's just one person, sure. You know who else is one person? ConcernedApe. Stardew Valley. He released it fully formed. We got major updates around every year. Oxygen Not Included, another Klei game, took two years from first release to full release. For both Don't Starve and Oxygen Not Included, Klei has given us not only quite a bit of free content after the initial release, but Don't Starve has three DLCs, each of which is a huge expansion to gameplay, Don't Starve Together, a multiplayer fork that still gets regular updates. Also, they gave us a ton of animated shorts, puzzles, teasers, and lore.
"She's like a tutorial rival, meant to teach you the core mechanics- wait what are you doing? You can't just kill her fairly easily! This is a STRICTLY LINEAR hitman+persona game! STOP PLAYING MY GAME!"
@@miumiuwony the difference here is that hitman rewards you for being creative with kills and persona 5 gives you time to grind out if you get target way before time imit, but yanderedev wants to punish people for killing osana early even thought she is literally the tutorial rival and should be easy and reward first time creativity.
*Alex voice* In Hitman, there are seemingly limitless ways to eliminate your target, each with their own difficulty and reward. If a player correctly learns their way around the map and manages to pull off a silent assassination or some other challenge, the player is rewarded with more points, and more exp to raise their Mastery level. Yandere Simulator is slightly different. Instead of rewarding players who just wander the map looking for some kind of secret elimination method, Yandere Simulator will instead patch out the method. This is so that players do not take advantage of the methods laid in place for them, as it would be unfair to just let them do whatever they want. Remember, Yandere Simulator is -not- a sandbox.
What bothers me the most about YandereDev is that he’s being *rewarded* for dragging his feet via his monthly Patreon income. If he finishes Yandere Sim, he’ll lose his primary source of income and will have to get, you know, a job where he’ll have to make actual progress. So let’s be real: Yandere Simulator will never be finished and he’ll beat this dead horse until the end of time and keep promising bigger and better things without ever delivering. Because that’s where he’s making his money: the promise of a decent game. It’ll never be that.
Yeah, and when patreon runs dry (let's assume in 5 yrs max) no one will bother to hire him because I doubt he has anything more than a high school diploma. It is now 2020. According to Yandere Dev Osana is functionally complete and he is just ironing out the kinks. 4 years for one tenth of the proper game to be made. I can't wait for 2058 when the final rival is functionally complete. After that we will just wait like 6 more years, and we will finally have the game, running presumably at a beautiful 10 fps.
I wonder if he actually manages to wrap his head around any of the 4 year old 50000 lines of uncommented if else statements. I would receive (valid) criticisms, but I would always get defensive and DM the person either justifying my terrible decisions with even more terrible excuses or claim they offended me. Yet I was still better at handling criticism than Yandere Dev is.
I’ve also never taken criticism well, not even constructive criticism because my family and teachers have almost always sung my highest praises, but when my “talents” became the expectation I had a harsh wake-up. *When 11y.os are better than you at writing AND taking criticism despite them also being mean and defensive*
W e a b o o B i t c h to be fair, there’s more involved in Yandere Sim but it’s retarded that he can’t even get the first rival out in the time it takes to make 8 games.
*1 groundbreaking game and 8 excellent sequels. I find it hard to consider a sequel groundbreaking unless it really breaks the mold, leaving an undeniable impact on the franchise. Fallout 3 is a groundbreaking sequel because it paved the way for 3D Fallout. Fallout: New Vegas was a groundbreaking sequel because it paved the way for a 4 faction system. Most FNAF games continue the story, but gameplay generally follows the first game.
Yandere Dev: ”updates” his game, streams, hates his fans, no one would wanna have a family with him, refuses to finish his game. Scott: Nice man, made christian stuff before fnaf, always puts effort in his game, wonderful yet very confusing storyline, has a loving and supportive family, loves his fans, currently writing the script for the fnaf movie.
The fact that there are mods for the game that adds all or even some rivals that all have different schedules and make the game complex shows how lazy he is.
I came back here after coming across his "Hate and Shame" video; Man was using every manipulation tactic available to him, he villainized the people that were just giving him constructive criticism, going as far as childishly portraying them as literal goblins and proceeded to make himself the victim, not actually tackling the situation but withholding every piece of information and speaking in a hypothetical manner. Toby fox has released both Undertale and DELTARUNE in the span of 3-5 years. Reasonable for both games, Yandere dev's taking 5 years to barely implement one rival. Jesus 😂
@Michael Jackson & Knuckles Undertale Reviews Steam: "Overwhelmingly Positive: 95%(98,000 Reviews)" Megalovania Music Video: 100 Million+ Views(Before it was taken down) Known to be the biggest indie game from 2015-2016. Godly amount of memes produced(Sans to be the center here). I get you don't like the games. But there's a difference between Opinions and Statistics, and due to the extreme popularity of Undertale; It's more than enough to be a comparison.
@Michael Jackson & Knuckles Calling something shit quality comes into opinions still. Regardless of what you think, statistics say otherwise. You may hate undertale but you do have to agree that ALOT of people love the game(Although it's fandom is more toxic than radioactive isotopes). When we have to compare what actually means quality (like music, graphics, storytelling, characters) that comes down to what type of critic you are and what you might prefer in a game. But onto the matter at hand, when it comes to Undertale, it's HUGE. With it's details in pixel art or it's complex story/characters, amount of different and unique monsters. The main comparison we're doing here is to show how much Toby Fox has accomplished here alone compared to YanDev. (I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, I'm saying what can equal as a valid comparison here)
Selina Peltokangas actually, Article 13 is just saying you’re not allowed to get money from making parodies, and also people can copyright strike(and have it matter).

It's good that you changed the thumbnail, but you will probably still get copyright reports in the thousands. One video in particular got 4 thousand.

So... remember Don't Starve?
Also Deltarune, made almost entirely by Toby Fox, including the music, started after yandere and finished before
Don't forget the guy who made The Elysian Tail. He devved it solo.

@@miumiuwony the difference here is that hitman rewards you for being creative with kills and persona 5 gives you time to grind out if you get target way before time imit, but yanderedev wants to punish people for killing osana early even thought she is literally the tutorial rival and should be easy and reward first time creativity.
@@miumiuwony...did you read any of this
*Alex voice*
In Hitman, there are seemingly limitless ways to eliminate your target, each with their own difficulty and reward.

What a clown. And worst part is, everyone bought it 100%. I hope more people come across this video or actual clarification.
Dude he stole the whole video and all of its points from other youtubers to generate easy clicks for no work effort like the little bottom bitch he is. And to be fair this incel does look as ugly as a goblin
Same. I felt really bad for him coz i saw that video before this one, and before research.
Honestly I'm a bit sad now that i see who he really is. He really needs to get his shit together.

Wait, yeah. I remember that. When it first came out, most people from the top (yet new) comments were telling him he should just apologize and just admit he was wrong, but then I came back to it and it's all different.
Well he also did post his explanation in his comment section
@@Torbintime Pardon my being a moron, but who do you mean?
Toby fox has released both Undertale and DELTARUNE in the span of 3-5 years. Reasonable for both games, Yandere dev's taking 5 years to barely implement one rival. Jesus 😂

2 full games that toby's following loves the shit outta too lmfao
Deltarune is not complete yet.
AlexFranma Chapter one is still functional and can be counted as a full playable, winnable game
@Michael Jackson & Knuckles Undertale Reviews Steam: "Overwhelmingly Positive: 95%(98,000 Reviews)"
Megalovania Music Video: 100 Million+ Views(Before it was taken down)
Known to be the biggest indie game from 2015-2016.
(I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, I'm saying what can equal as a valid comparison here)
"we need to delete the memes" HES THE EU
Selina Peltokangas actually, Article 13 is just saying you’re not allowed to get money from making parodies, and also people can copyright strike(and have it matter).
Wait..?
So im an artist and I’m practising making animations, I did a poll on Amino, and well people want me to animate memes/vines. Does this mean I can’t make them now? Bummer..
I looked at the Article itself, and it’s very vague. However, someone posted saying basically the first thing I said in this thread. So I’m not quite sure of the entire situation at this point.
The UE will try to ban internet privacy and freedom. Dictators
