Why do the Vic 2 games always immediatly go south so fast? All human players present could play a round where everyone is an african country, and they probably would still manage to cause WW1 and nuke the economy with fish. Its incredible! I love the Vic 2 vids the most

Thats why the russian flag looks like the dutch. And also do know that the dutch had less population than belgium at the time and had less casualties against the english and french

I have never seen a Vic 2 game where Europe and Russia was more messed up. Even Germany was getting rebellions all the time. Meanwhile Bo was just swimming in cash.

It's better that hoi4 in every way but combat
Basically, every resource needs to be produced before it can be used, so if you want to build an army you need iron that comes from a province with iron production. If you don't have your own iron mine, you need to buy iron off the market which is where all the resources that aren't consumed locally go. What happens in this game is that since Russia dies, the iron available to the world market is massively reduced which means almost no one can build warships, armies, forts, etc, because no one has enough iron.
so this is another part of the "endless Golden malding" arc

If you sphere someone any extra goods they produce get duplicated across the entire sphere, it's better to sphere a minor that makes iron than try to go to war to annex it from them.
Only of they are westernised with good tech.

@@RK-cj4oc If the Netherlands produces 10 iron and consumes 6, everyone in the sphere gets that 4 extra iron. So if you have 2 other sphere members it's doubled, 3 tripled, etc. Any that isn't used is lost, though. Sphere a bunch of nations that produce a lot of raw materials without consuming them and you can get more stuff than the world actually produces.
