    My 2 tips:
    -If you take away the pleasure of eating and don't put nothing in it's place, it's going to be harder. Instead of eating, do another thing you enjoy.
    -Shut your mind and listen only to your body. You will see that you are not made to eat multiple times a day. Your body is not going to starve itself to death in 24hrs. The hunger you will feel is just your mind telling you to do what you are used to, not a sign that you actually need to feel full 24/7.

    Hi Kayla, it’s Akash. I had joined in earlier that day when you had a live Q&A. Kudos to this video ! I’ve been riding on OMAD over 2 months now and loving every bit of it. God Bless !

    Hello Kayla, I found that I was going down for a week and then went back up the next week to my original starting point. I fear my body is thinking that should be my new normal. I think it is to heavy. I will attempt to go back down and maintain it. Wish me success. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓

    Kayla, I've been fasting since May 8th and moved up to ADF for 53 days now without many scale victories.
    Have you ever did ADF?

      @alinap.7298 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you tried OMAD? With ADF, I was eating more meals in a week than with OMAD. Also, after maybe 2 weeks of OMAD, I started learning that it was easier to remember to eat healthier for just that one meal.

    Enjoy your videos Kayla! I need to lose about 30lbs. I do 16:8 fasting right now. Basically 2 meals a day - breakfast and dinner. I would like to do OMAD because my weight loss has not been significant. My question is, how do you handle it when your husband or friends want to go out to lunch, dinner or breakfast one day and you are supposed to be fasting during that time. I actually like breakfast and can have my one big meal then. However, a friend or my husband may want to go out for lunch or dinner. How do you handle that?? Do you do OMAD every day?

      If you know ahead of time, plan to open your eating window during that time and skip when you'd normally have a meal, whether before or after your event. Just flex and go back to your normal time the next day.

      I started out doing OMAD five days a week, my normal workdays M-F, so that it was an easier transition because I was not hanging out with family on my workdays for lunch.
      As far as weekends, I started by not limiting anything at all. And it took me several weeks to realize that made it so so difficult to get back on track every Monday.
      My body just naturally didn’t want to keep doing that, so I found myself getting closer to my weekday eating on the weekends too. First, only eating 12-8pm on Sat & Sun, then only doing that 8 hour window one weekend day (OMAD 6 days a week so that I don’t fall too far off track).
      Oh, and I’ve learned to say to others… “I’m not hungry for lunch, and I’m learning not to force myself to eat when I’m not hungry”… even if I am hungry. LOL
      After a while, people learn that I’m just not really a breakfast person, or I that I just like tea or coffee for lunch.
      Hope that helps 👍

    Hi, can I just ask, how do you maintain your weight on OMAD. Don’t you just keep on losing? I have been doing it but I am at my target weight now, thank you in advance.

    • @alinap.7298
      @alinap.7298 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I didn’t keep losing forever. I reached a plateau very close to my normal BMI range. If I want to lose those last few pounds to actually reach normal BMI range, I will eat healthier for my OMAD meal.
