@jeannesullivan5392 can you shoot me an email my friend. cpapreviewsaus@gmail.com you'll get an auto reply but i do monitor the email. I'd love some information if possible . Sounds like you are light years ahead of the curve . Is it the same one i showed?
Even if they come out with their own version of the O2 sensor....the ring data will still be able to be used and thus for those of us who already have an O2 ring from SleepHQ, no need to worry.
Love you thumbnail pick, Nick!! 😂I've been using the O2Ring for 4 years. I Sent Nick's contact info and YT channel to the Wellue people a long time ago. Re ResMed, Why would anyone want to pay twice the price for a lame, finger-squeezing ResMed pulseOx when the O2 Ring is perfect for me? Thanks to Nick, my "new" machine is a ResMed 10, not 11 by my choice. Next on my list is to figure out how to my machine with SleepHQ. Thank you, Nick! 💖
About time they start to incorporate this. They really dragged on this. You think they will ever incorporate RDI as a metric for effectiveness? (something similar to how the watchpat does it) Or your thoughts on if that'd be helpful...
ResMed already have their sleep test, if they make it rechargeable and in a ring form they could use their own sleep test device as the basis for a O2 ring.
Hello! Thank you for your great videos. Have you heard anything about the Z2 auto making whining sounds at the exhalation port? I'm out of my mind with sleeplessness and wonder if there is a cure. I have contacted everyone and no one seems to have an answer.
@CPAP Reviews Thanks for the great review Nicko! I'm a new SleepHQ Pro member, and I plan to track my sleep data through your site. With this in mind, would it make the most sense to get the SleepHQ O2 Ring since it will automatically upload to my SleepHQ profile? Whatever ResMed comes out with for the oximeter, is there really much they can do that I couldn't get from the Sleep HQ O2 Ring? Last week, you recommended that I get an Airsense 10 Card to Cloud plus the Magic Uploader. So I'm just finishing out my equipment buildout before purchasing everything. One other question. I've used a similar ring during a sleep study recently. It was super convenient; however, I did notice some irritation and almost blistering on the inside of my thumb/finger. Have you had any issue with this? Any suggestions? Thank you!
Hello, i guess the benefit of a ResMed one would be that the O2 will show in MyAir but if you're using SleepHQ you probably wouldn't really look at MyAir much anyway. Also, in the future your magic uploader could potentially pull in ResMed O2 data that will be stored on the SD card. The SleepHQ O2 ring is very cool and we have no problems with comfort. It's a silicone band that's very soft. I wear mine 8 hours a night with no issues. Cheers
I like your videos and believe you provide a valuable service. Not so sure about you posting my linkedIn profile though, you are giving a false impression by doing this. I did purchase your SpO2 ring for myself as I think as you mentioned SpO2 is one of the most valuable indicators of the efficaciousness of CPAP therapy. I have been on CPAP therapy for 20 years and have used almost every device and product available, this certainly helps me be a better designer. To be clear, I design the actual CPAP masks. I have no direct connection to the machine side and no influence over the integration of SpO2 monitoring and ResMed machines. I believe you have given a false impression to your viewers and would appreciate you correcting this. Like you I am passionate about getting and keeping those who need treatment on therapy. I know how much I have benefited from therapy and like you wish the same benefit for others. Paul Derrick Watson.
The 3230 does come up on oximeter search ResMed 11 screen. However it fails pairing request. I reset the nonin and made sure nothing else was paired on the nonin, but still fails to pair. Anyone have same problem and a fix?
@@CPAPReviewsNick, you are obviously too honest a fellow to recognize a chance to market your own device in your initial response, and I love that about you! Keep it up mate!
I couldn't see how to email you. What is the best cpap for automatic? I have bad sleep apnea and I have a old dream station from 2015/20 17. Sleep clinic says mine getting too old.

Decent pulse OX run well under $100 US. Anything higher than that better be super special! By the way, I have seen no independent medical documentation on validation of ring Pulse OX. Just like wrist blood pressure, not yet ready for prime time. No validation!
Mr Nikko I bought that ring you recommended but when I found out the app the use to utilize the features is routed thru China it was a no go for me. Thats just another way for your personal information to be stolen and harvested in the black market. Im trying to find another alternative. Any suggestions.
I've just started to use my Air curve 2 weeks ago. I'm having a difficult time getting use to it. Part of my problem is my nose passages close up and cause me to wake up. Im using a rose med full face mask that does not cover my nose. Now I'm sleeping in a recliner that seems to have helped. My nose passage no longer closed up. I have been to an ENT he says mt nose passages close up because of acid reflux. I thought he was full of sh _ _.. I dont have acid reflux.
I have been trying to find a way to get through CPAP all night, Not sure why I can't but maybe it is because of the mask or if the hose is on my head vs near my nose. I have tried full mask, nasal pillow and the one with 2 nasal things sticking into my nose. I am happy to get 4 hours but I think I need to get to all night. Any suggestions? Also I need to wear a chin holder but they all make my skin itch.....help plz

Pulse Oximetry does not measure oxygen saturation or ventilation. Place the probe next to a fluorescent light and it will read 99%. etCO2 measures ventilation.

Chin pad tip: get a piece of silk fabric attached as a buffer in between the synthetic material and your chin (a bit from a silk scarf or tie).
What can the RING do that my SMART WATCH does not already do?
Smart Watch takes an O2 sample about once every 30 minutes where pulse oximeters take one every second. Great question though
