What i will never understand is why Mr. Nutz' sprite looks so adorable while in the box art he kinda looks like a Sonic character. Seriously, the sprites from the game have a different art style.

I'm really glad you showed the 'sploits way to beat Mr. Blizzard, I was about to lose all of my lives to the blowing attack until I gave this a shot. For anyone else trying it: The trick is to release the jump button as soon as you bounce on him. Otherwise, you bounce too high and take a hit when his invincibility frames run out.
"Definitely drugs were used in this game's creation." LOL. It's probably suggested that you use them during gameplay as well. Seriously though, I missed this one the first time through. Maybe it's worth hunting down and checking out still. Thanks for the vid.

Well, whatever it's called, look at the hand motions...I think Mr. Nutz took some inspiration from that boss. The arcade of Splatterhouse was released a good 5 years before, so it's certainly possible.

It was supposed to be released for the Genesis as well as "Mr. Nutz 2" but was cancelled for some reason. There's an indie group known as TheCompany, who makes PC ports of AMiga games (based on the WinUAE emulator), you should check if they have the Amiga version of Mr. Nutz as well, if not, I'm sure there's a playthrough on TH-cam.
