Great playthroughs! Thanks for sharing a nice all-in-one of the series! Some notes of interest… in "Circus," Pete is actually titled Baron, not king; the haunted portraits are a nod to his Emperor form from the first game, while his dragon body (in the BG) is modeled after Maleficent’s dragon form, other than the color. Also, probably the single most obscure bit of trivia I’ve never seen anyone note about these games: There’s an Easter egg (except game 3) after the ending. After “THE END”, wait about three minutes. In game 1, a flock of birds will squawk and fly through up and away in the sky, with Mickey floating away holding to the last bird’s feathers. Similarly, in game 2, a large batch of carnival balloons will float into the sky and fly off, with Mickey and Minnie holding to the strings of the last two balloons, which carry them up and away. Lots of fun little stuff like this to add to the games’ charm!

@Jim_iscool As a consequence there goes the lack of challenging difficulty that critics often complained about back then and today. I personally don't care about challenge or difficulty in a video game nowadays so long as the game is fun, entertaining and looks great I'm sold. Not saying I'm against challenging myself and am comfortable with slight difficulty spikes. I just don't think it's worth it getting frustrated or having a nasty headache over or worst case scenario the destruction of very expensive and very loved property
With all the "retro" re-releases being done on Nintendo switch and other platforms the Magical Quest trilogy should totally be one of them as I believe it's in great demand as I personally want it myself and I think would make Capcom as well as the respective hardware companies of Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft an amazing deal of money and make many a person really happy as I just wrote I know I would be
7:00 you are aware it is much easier and faster to beat emperor Pete with the magic outfit than it is with the fire fighter outfit and just as you're given fire hydrant power ups when you put the torch enemies out and beat them the exact same thing is done when you attack the torches with magic as well but instead of getting fire hydrants you get magic lamp power ups instead. This was my only criticism about the first Magical quest game: is how absurdly overpowered the magic outfit really is compared to any and everything else in the game rendering the other outfits near useless except for being necessary puzzle pieces to get out of sticky situations. This must've been an oversight from Capcom back in the day as I think nowadays something like this would strictly for balancing purposes would be patched
