4:53 - for Z and anyone else wondering about the Danish players with one cap - back in 2019 (?) there was a strike from the NT players (and I believe all professional players within FA) few days before their friendly against Slovakia. As they haven't reached an agreement before the game, they played the friendly with semi-pro/amateur players. Funnily enough they only lost 0-1 to Slovakia, who fielded their normal team (maybe not the strongest side, but a team of fully professional players)
It was in 2018 and we lost 0-3. Slovakia played a fairly normal team, but I think it was obvious that they were taking it relatively easy. But kudos to the amateurs for stepping up!
@@Ronnykjaer lol, I was at the game and for some reason I thought it was only 1-0...I just remember that everyone thought it would end like 8-0, but in the end those Danish guys fought well
I think the person who's doing the Pentagon save has no idea about Korean mandatory military service, which is probably the reason a bunch of their players are getting poached to the military team.
@@chelseacomps829 yeah, in Korea, men between the ages of 18 to about 30 are required to do 18 months of mandatory military service. in recent years, a team called Gimcheon Sangmu was created in the korean system so that footballers doing service would have a team to play on while in the military. when your player goes on military service, he'll go on loan to gimcheon for 18 months. it has great facilities, but they loan in a lot of players and so if your player isn't the most talented at the position, he's unlikely to get much play time, which is a bummer
@@jucalebre7540 Yeah, their contracts get extended for the period of time they're on loan. Or at least that's what happened when I managed in South Korea years ago.
I usually find the solution of finding players with at least decent world reputation and around 28 to 34 y/o to max out the foreign player spots in lower or smaller Asian leagues very helpful. They are willing to take a pay cut (though might still be on the high side) but it drives up the club's gate receipts, season tickets and shirt sales, which can help boost the club in the short term, especially without the burden of playing in the AFC Champions League. For the Asian player spot, loaning in a player from a different Asian country or find an Asian player that a European or NA club want to get rid of or want to loan out for game time usually help me get a good player without having to pay a lot of money.
about the Aalesund save - I also have a Norwegian save this year with Bryne. The club was also riddled with debt that took years to get out of. You are totally fine.. the board are still giving you a transfer budget. utilise the free loans from affiliates and push for a champions league spot. and you are only in year 2025 be patient too, regen wonder kids will start popping up anytime now for you to sign and sell for a profit. pre-contracts are your best friend too, look for them every 6 months, it helps out a bunch. don't ignore the lower leagues in Norway, there isn't much of a skill gap between divisions so there are always decent young players that you can often sign for free. the debt seems scary but patience is key, by your progress so far you will probably be in the positive in 3 seasons don't be scared to sign older players too, they can really help you win the league.
I like the person who is making the Pentagon challenge even harder by winning the European champions league but instead of jumping to the best team in Asia went to India. Making a difficult challenge even harder.
One thing I'd add for the guy doing the pentagon save, don't chain yourself to the first team you land at. He doesn't seem to have a plan if he went to India of all places first.
3:35 selling players is a option imo. Especially in the early game. Just sell them for a bit less than you could but with 50% sell clause. 2-3 seasons later you will get 30 mio. Do that with 4-5 players and you will have enough money to buy as many talents as you want
I just discovered your channel after recently getting back into FM. I have almost 2,500 hours in FM12. After that I haven't played the game much but recently got back into it when I got FM23 on sale a few weeks ago. I've put 100 hours into it over the last two weeks or so. I just wanted to say thank you for all your videos they really have been a massive help. The game has made some big changed in the last 10 years or so. Keep it up!
I joined Daejon in around 2027. I dont know if I got lucky but they were still in the K2 League but gave me £20mil transfer budget and had £30mil bank balance. It was basically set up to explode as soon as we got into the top tier (because no good players, outside of U17 wonderkids on loans, want to come to the second tier in S.Korea) Which is exactly what happened. As soon as we went up I had 3 non-Asian spots available (because I just had Brazilian loanees) to fill. Paid over-the-odds, slightly, to secure 3 players who were a different level to my current team. This meant I could also get better Korean players because they wanted to play with the higher rated players. We came 2nd first season in the top flight. In, I think, 6 seasons we won the K1 League 5 times. Won the Asian Champions league 3 or 4 times on the bounce and a few Korean Cups about. As well as making the final of the CWC only to lose to an 89th minute PSG winner by rapist, Mason Greenwood. Put short, what I'm saying is: (if they're set up the same way I got them) Daejon are ready to go on and dominate Korean football, particularly because the board offset all overheads excluding transfers on a monthly basis.
To everyone, but especially to Ewan. If you are reading this, you can go ahead and ask for team reports on teams and your scouts will come back with a list of players from said team that are interested in joining in on loan. So you can just go around Europe and ask for a team report on the best teams and within 2/3 days the reports will come. Bare in mind that they vanish quite quickly, within a few weeks I think and are a bit broad, but you can still easily identify a star player for your team with these reports. Also, if you are struggling with money. Buying players from Africa, may be a good option, even if you don´t have leagues loaded. Go to the rankings of the NT teams from Africa and ask for a team report for the best 5/6 teams from each nation, go from the best African nation and move down. You can sign quite a few players on frees or under 200k from Africa.
My favourite series! I wish I had saves to save, but I watch all Zealand's helpful videos and I master all challenges easily. (Help, I've been stuck with Wealdstone in League 1 for 5 seasons, with no end or hope.)
When making the transition to needing more money for players after a promotion I rely heavily on silly release clause values. I scour South America for release clauses sub 5M and values over that. I don't even register many of them. I just loan them out for a year if they are 18 or over and then sell them. If they are 18 and have really good potential I might loan them out for multiple years depending on how badly I need the money. I continue to do this because money is money and as you progress you can up the minimum release. I'm top of France with Sochaux and at least reach the final of the Champions League every year but my transfer budget is never more than 35M. I take 20M and find the best deals focusing on total profit potential even if it will take 2-3 years. I usually sell one player a year using this process and make 50M or more turning my 35M/year into 65M/year.
To the guy in the bundesliga - check the rules of 2. Bundesliga, you get sevreral millions in prizemoney even midtable. Stay up and you can start building up after first season. Cheap loans (deadlineday) from dortmund, bayern and co helped me immensly
I would so love Zealand to do a save your save for a Spanish team, the financial system is crazy (even more so with the Barcelona madness IRL). Its all about turnover so doesnt matter if you want to move money from your transfer budget into your wage. Just an example you can only register 500k as a newly promoted team, this is set by the league, but the board can give you a complete different budget and it doesnt matter. Reason i know this is the save i have been playing is in Spain, 3 years in LaLiga and the wage budget set by the league hasnt moved. The Spain leagues are like no other in the way thats its a top 3 league, with a salary cap and 2 clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid spending 10 times it and Atletico spending 5 times.
Great content as always. I have a question. When i look at the moral of my players everything is great exept their thought about my management of the team. but playtime and training are both not the problem. Any idea what it could be? I started like a month ago and had a blast binching your content! cheers
Just an idea for a New video. I think probably everyone has had an epic match where the championship has been decided in the last match of the year. Wouldnt it be nice if People can send those to you and you can take the role of commentator maybe with some nice editting from reece?
Or maybe even simply securing promotion. The first season of my Zealand American Database save I nearly had a final day to rival Z's first title in his ODFC save, but we didn't get the help we needed in another match. I was 0-2 down at home to a midtable side after 60 minutes, a DMC who hadn't scored all season scores a 4 minute brace to pull us even, then we draw and convert a 90th minute penalty to win 3-2...only to come up 1 point short of promotion.
Thx for the advice - I'm going to make End of Contract shortlist in my Korona Kielce save. I usually group players into shortlists by scout's grade - so A+ seperatly, A/A- seperatly etc. But Your idea imho is better
At 4:46 he brings up the page for Australian Scott Jamieson - not-so-affectionately known as Jammo in the A-League. He's the captain of Melbourne City and the utter stereotype of an Aussie footballer. He's more passion than skill with a penchant for yelling at refs and taking the dumbest fouls imaginable. 14 aggression seems low is what I'm saying. We've got an 18 year old highschooler who's a better left back - unfortunately it's not great for team morale to put on a child instead of your captain.

(FM21!) I am really worried about my save, I am managing Molde and Norway in 2027. With Norway I won the World Cup twice in a row, but I am beginning to worry about the 2038 World Cup given by then, I would most likely lose Erling Haaland! I don't see any chance of finding a great replacement for him. For my Molde save I managed to win the 2025 CL, but I ended up selling my 5 best players for an average of 18M. Also my 1st team squad consists of 42 players while my 2nd squad has 18 I believe I find it hard moving on some of my worst performers. I also can't find any good loans(bar 1), My budget is also only around 125M £! Would love some tips, on how to do better!
I started a unemployed career at fortuna Dusseldorf with a transfer budget less then 10mil and got new job at mainze in next season once again with same budget my God I'm finding owners who don't spend

Just tried looking for players on amateur contracts and get like 5 players back.. Why is that? Just for context, I'm following Z's save as St Polten but my scouting network is nowhere near his right now as I haven't managed to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League.
Where do we submit sys? Ive spent 3 years trying to improve a poor team and it just seems to be getting worse even though i have better players and i cant get to grips with thats going on and what im doing wrong.
I am playing fm for almost 15 years now and i can't beleive how some people are bad in managin their clubs, honestly fm is only about pure matematic it's very easy to beat system, buy cheap use scout reports and sell expensive ofc if you are playing with low reputation clubs.
how do I go from a team who walks the welsh league unbeaten and good enough to qualify for the ucl but nowhere near good enough to get more than maybe 3 points in the group, the league i compete in just isnt attractive enough
Do you do a SMP (Save my player) video's ?.. Because i just bought a player, Alphonso Davies, from bayern, and he is stuck on half his stamina. Wont get off it, game says he's 'Tired" but he hasn't played a full game yet. I rested him many days, but no change. restarted FM, no change. searched Google, but it wasn't my friend. So now i just spend 100 mil on a player i cant use. Any advice for that ?.. smartie ?... if you do, i'll subscribe... ;)
Very good video boss! Would you mind taking a look at my current save? It doesn't "need" saving, I would like your opinion on where I could improve it, make more money, etc. We really need to upgrade our stadium as it is the smallest capacity stadium in top division right now. Let me know when you can! :)
The Danish players who have 1 cap who aren’t very good, are probably the players from the 3rd and 4th tier who played when the Danish national team went on strike
Reece The Editor... I have a solution to your problem with the Loans song.... Set up a dummy org and copyright strike it. Zealand will back off using it then 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I had to wipe my PC and lost a whole season of Progress in my save... i won the Europa League from Romania and drew PSG in the CL group stage... everything gone
my team is not mentally prepared i guess, they beat barcelona, milan, tottenham, lyon and yet somehow after all that, when their morale is at best they lose 0:2 vs some random club from Turkey or Ukraine... seriously and after that they have no problem to continue their winning strike in Premier league
The dude doing the pentagon, wtf are you doing in the 2nd division? your reputation has to be good enough to manage either suwon or jeonbuk destroy the korean league and asian champions league. I did that and the only team I managed before was SC Jiuniu. Im also doing a pentagon save
Come on, Zealand. "I keep losing in the CL quarters" isn't a good-faith SYS. What it is, is a pathetically transparent humble-brag "look at meeeeee" and I wish you'd quit humoring such infants.
Honestly, the format is getting both extremely predictable, and extremely stale. If people have watched even one video in the series, they're already equipped with the advice you're giving them, and you're simply repeating it to them. Senior Affiliate is one of those tricky things to recommend, as you the player have no control over it. From personal experience, in every save I have done, I have asked and been given the thumbs-up by the board atleast 2 dozen times, and none of the times has it ever come back with anything. Might be worth taking the advice you're giving them, and playing the save forward about a month, then showing the results.

I started a unemployed career at fortuna Dusseldorf with a transfer budget less then 10mil and got new job at mainze in next season once again with same budget my God I'm finding owners who don't spend
Sell to buy and loaaaaaaaaaaaans
Clicked this video fully expecting the loan song
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
Just trying to help you out my "American" brother
Edit: Reece, why? Why did you agree to making that nightmare fuel a reality?
Just tried looking for players on amateur contracts and get like 5 players back.. Why is that?
Just for context, I'm following Z's save as St Polten but my scouting network is nowhere near his right now as I haven't managed to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League.
Hi, two Americans signed for Middlesbrough this season. What's your thoughts on them?
Where do we submit sys? Ive spent 3 years trying to improve a poor team and it just seems to be getting worse even though i have better players and i cant get to grips with thats going on and what im doing wrong.
Hi Zealand hope you are well .I would like to send you mt Barnsley save but how do I go about it??.
Does the regen face pack work on an already started save?
bro heard people were sick of loans song and decided to sing American National Anthem instead
I am playing fm for almost 15 years now and i can't beleive how some people are bad in managin their clubs, honestly fm is only about pure matematic it's very easy to beat system, buy cheap use scout reports and sell expensive ofc if you are playing with low reputation clubs.
What do I always Tell you ?
Yeah, say the line Zealand.. Say the line....
LOANS ! Yeah boi !
Might be a big ask but can we have one SYS a week?
Regen face pack?! Tell me more please! Seems to be no link for it?
how do I go from a team who walks the welsh league unbeaten and good enough to qualify for the ucl but nowhere near good enough to get more than maybe 3 points in the group, the league i compete in just isnt attractive enough
Yeah Wimbledon a dire strait financially in real life feeding on scraps cause I'm pretty sure Chelsea helped them out of administration
How can we submit saves to be saved? Asking for a friend, obviously.
Can't you only loan two players in PL? It is good but it is not as straight forward as loaning 5 players and pushing for promotion in lower leagues.
Hi Z
Anyone got any recommendations for a laptop that can run fm22 for fairly cheap
This is a surprise
The Danish players who have 1 cap who aren’t very good, are probably the players from the 3rd and 4th tier who played when the Danish national team went on strike
Reece The Editor... I have a solution to your problem with the Loans song....
Set up a dummy org and copyright strike it.
Zealand will back off using it then
🤣🤣🤣🤣
good
I had to wipe my PC and lost a whole season of Progress in my save... i won the Europa League from Romania and drew PSG in the CL group stage... everything gone
Yes
I'm surprised it took Z 6 minutes into the vid before he sing THE song lmao
my team is not mentally prepared i guess, they beat barcelona, milan, tottenham, lyon and yet somehow after all that, when their morale is at best they lose 0:2 vs some random club from Turkey or Ukraine... seriously and after that they have no problem to continue their winning strike in Premier league
Was anyone else distracted by the single white hair in Zealand's beard/tache?
Do you look unkempt on purpose?
The dude doing the pentagon, wtf are you doing in the 2nd division? your reputation has to be good enough to manage either suwon or jeonbuk destroy the korean league and asian champions league. I did that and the only team I managed before was SC Jiuniu. Im also doing a pentagon save
Loaaaaans 🤣
Just help the saves by signing players and simming the season .
3. Liga in Germany is pronounced “Dritte Liga” (dritt-eh)
Kept getting distracted by how hairy his chest is
German third division is pronounced "Dritte Liga"
