Absolutely exquisite. What phenomenal execution of this finger bender. She makes every impossible passage sound so natural and so easy. One of the greatest and also most underappreciated pianists. Bravo!!

I doubt that. It would be more respectful and accurate to say that she belongs to a handful of the best classical pianists playing today. This thing we have of needing someone to always be the best is not helpful and especially so when discussing the arts. Just say you prefer her playing above all others and perhaps say why that is.

Agreed. Was fortunate enough to see her recital live in 2018 at SoCal, but it was one of few. I think it has something to do with conflicts between record labels. Deutsche Grammophon, which Yeol-Eum isn't signed with, is connected with major american philharmonics and it's rare to see a performer play with them who isn't signed with them.
@@swanee9599 I think that you have part of the answer there. DG probably makes package deals with the top orchestras to place DG soloists into concerts. But I think that there is still some room left for non-DG soloists. James Ehnes is an Onyx recording artist, like Son, and he still gets into the major concert halls with major orchestras. But yes, those places are in the minority. With our local big-time orchestra, I see a lot of DG contract players. Especially Yuja Wang, Seongjin Cho, Lang Lang, Jan Lisiecki, others. I would rather hear the lady above play.
Yeol played in Los Angeles, San Franciso, San Jose and Washington DC in 18/19; Washington, Fort Worth and Oregon in 17/18. You think she should spend her life there? - the USA has only 4.7% of the worlds population -the other 95% might like to hear her!

와 겁나게 잘치네요. 드레스는 뭐 예쁜데요. 검은색 빨간색 조합이 좋아요. 그런데 등에 붙은 끈이 드레스 디자인에서 일반적으로 볼수 없는 거라서 사람들이 어색하게 느끼나봐요. 연주는 클래식인데 드레스는 완전 현대미술이라 어색한가봐요. 하지만 전혀 시각적으로 무리 없어보입니다. 실험적인 컨셉이지만 조형적으로 아름답습니다.

터키행진곡은 볼로도스라는 피아니스트의 편곡이고 이 결혼행진곡은 호로비츠라는 피아니스트의 편곡입니다~! 손열음씨가 워낙 테크닉에 뛰어나니 앵콜곡으로는 그걸 보여주고 관객이 즐겁게 들을 수 있는 곡들을 선택하다보니 그런것같네요
