Hey Ninja Nerd team: I'm coming over from your neurology playlist to say the following, and I just hope it shows you the value of the work you do. Recently my dad died, and I had to sit out the spring portion of the semester and spring exam (My uni divides the year into quarters). Now I'm taking that exam late august, and I've had computer problems, so I got a late start to the studying. In my situation, meandering, poorly planned and monotonely excecuted lectures, which are prominent in most universities I recon, are an absolute no go. It takes twice as long to learn anything and fatigues you twice as much. You guys all are the main reason I'm confident I'll pass this exam, and more importantly actually understand the things I need to know for my future profession in time. Thank you so much for everything you do, and I hope you get fantastically rich both monetarily and spiritually doing it!
I'm so sorry for your loss, wish death didn't exist. I'm pretty sure your dad was rich spiritually if not monetarily, since those two are not always connected, and there are millions of rich people but only spiritually, as there are a handful of very rich people monetarily, more than everyone combined, but with no spirit inside.
@@bucherregaldomi9084 on a philosophical point: I don't wish death didn't exist. Value comes from scarcity. If death didn't exist, life would be worthless. There'd be no insentive to do anything good with out lives, because we could always do it "later". Just some food for thought
I love you people…… I am 41 and started going to school….. I wish all professors would teach like you…. I became a member so I can follow along with you…. Tell you what that is the best thing ..Notes are so great and helpful before classes and exams….. I can’t thank you enough…. Wish you best with everything….
Thank you so much ! My nephew has kidney stones. You helped me to understand what I needed to help him. You are such a blessing to millions of people. I can’t thank you enough
your videos are more enjoyable than watching Netflix! may ALLAH bless you with many more blessings for making such kinds of lectures for medical students. lots of love from AFGHANISTAN.
I'll like, comment down bellow, and share and support, whatever you say man. You are an amazing group of people, helping med students all around the world! I hope one day I can pay you back for all this material, I cant express enough how much I appreciate it. Big respect sir
Sir i am currently watching your embryology lecture series and those lectures are amazing i am grateful to you you are best teacher i found in my first year Thank you sir
just know that somewhere you're helping a nursing student to learn about these kinds of complications that we see everyday in the hospital. i always loved your very detailed videos. no one discusses like you. id want to get the membership in your site but I really cannot afford that. But mind that you have my support here in yt, subscribed and always liking your vids :3
I really appreciate this explanation. Now, to work with my nephrologist to get things under control, and this information should assist me in cooperating more thoroughly. Thank you.
You're the best! I hope work goes well for you today!
You are so amazing ! Nobody teaches better. Thank you so much for the invaluable videos and content you provide for us. One question please. What is considered high level of calcitriol ?
Hi Zach, Kristin and Robert. Thank you so much for your very informative and amazing videos. They help us a lot. I have a comment: Could you let the whiteboard stay as a whole picture for a second at the end, without someone in front or ending the video or lots of commercials appearing, please? It is because to get an overview/summary of what was explained? Thanks in advance!
Good Job 👍 I think hypocitriuria is commoner with type 1 renal tubular acidosis; not in type 2 RTA and in type 1 there is difficulty in acidification of urine. Therefore the urine PH is alkaline
Question from another theme. Which of cranial nerve's damages can cause palate tense, spine tense, change spine's curves and others sympthoms in tensions muscle head's area? What can I do with it? Any emg, usg, cbct with contrast can help? My disability are bigger and bigger:( Sorry for my english
Hi brother, big fan of yours. I was going through your podcasts, those are mind blowing. But you've stopped uploading them. Please start doing more podcasts brother.
A small correction: in the context of the association between hypocitriurea and RTA type 2 and Acetozolamide the reabsorbtion of Citrate does not happen because of the High H+ in urine , because it’s known that RTA type 2 and Acetozolamide causes alkaline urine by inhibiting the reabsorbtion of Bicarbs causing Metabolic Acidosis, and because of this metabolic acidosis the citrate gets reabsorbed to act as a buffer against the high Concentration of H+ ions in blood.
Great video. I had a stone for a year before it was discovered this month when I finally got pain. I know now it was over a year in the making because I wet the bed twice a year ago but no one thought to check my kidney. Well after getting extreme pain in my right back side I went to the ER and they saw a 7mm stone. They also saw my creatinine levels up to 1.9 an after removing the stone 2 weeks ago my creatinine is now 1.67 and my EGFR level is 49… My questions are, now the surgery is fine and my stent is now removed, can I expect my creatinine’s level to go back down and my EGFR to go back up 🔝 to normal? If so, how long will it take approximately?
Hey, the videos is vary amazing, I have simple questions but complicated in same time. What different between disease an symptom?. Why we calling that to each one of them.?
Dude- I’ve practice nephrology > 25 years, and have never seen explanations as clear and precise as yours. Strong work!
