First congratulations on the wedding and your daughter finding someone to walk with on her journey through life. She has had two great role models to go by. Waddlesville is going to be great although, to me, geese are mean. Looking forward to seeing the wadding pool finished. God bless.
Nancyrea, their last geese waited for them outside their door! I think some how, for some reason they have a special connection with all their animals???!?!?! I can't remember them having an issue towards them from any animal. I really miss the ducks that walk/run upright. Those were so hilarious.
Absolutely Love the Name!! All the Birds are Going to Have an Amazing Home and Play Ground.. I just read the last Newsletter. Congratulations and God Bless Your Daughter and New Son in Law May They Have Many Many Years of Health and Happiness Together..🙏💕🙏
One of my (many) favorite things is how Kevin talks to and welcomes the new “babies” on the farm! Too cute! Such love for more of God’s creations ❤️😃🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@markkristynichols, I know, right? The animals seem to be drawn to him. I loved how Rosie loved him immediately. He was her boy from the get go. I'm so grateful to God that both of their milk cows are pregnant.
Kevin and Sarah, if your quail eat down all the grass in the aviary, you might try a small quail tractor with a wire bottom. Mine was about 12" tall by 24"× 48" and they would make the happiest noises anytime I moved the pen to a new spot. The wire bottom is important because they will dig out at the edges without, between dust bathing and scratching around. I learned that the hard way. They eggs were so much better with the fresh grass and the quail were more content than when i had them in a regular quail set up.
Fortunate are the animals that get to live on your homestead. You treat them with very thoughtful care, respect and dignity. It's such a pleasure watching you guys .... whatever subject you are sharing is always interesting. Can't wait to see the water area being enjoyed by all the waddlers. 😊
O Gosh I'm giggling so much at Waddlesville name and the banner is beautiful! I hope the baby geese will be friendly, but I suspect since you have babies they will just naturally be happy with all others teaching them❤ Such a fun video to watch! Thank you dearly Sarah and Kevin❤❤
Cool!!! In MN I had a small coop for my quail. Behind the coop I put up a dog kennel run. I covered the top so nothing could get in!! Chicken wire around the dog kennel panels and tin around the bottom. Most of the quail would sleep against the wire at night and raccoons found them easy pray!! No more missing after the tin was installed!!! Absolutely fun project!!! They loved the long grass and weeds back in the run to hide and lay their eggs!!! I found each egg each day! !!! Can’t wait to see your setup for yours!!! Colene ❤
Hey guys! When you can spare some time, will you do another video like your episode sitting by the road. You were both so incredibly funny. I’ll never forget it. Love you both. Been watching you for a very long time. Y’all make a 72 year old laughing till I couldn’t breathe. God bless you both too.
I really love the banner and the space for all the birds. I thought the pool was going to be bigger. Could you not dig out an area and line it with pond liner and put rocks around it to make it look like a natural pond. Great videos guys, loving the transformation of your new property.
My grandfather had patches all over the seat of his pants. I was told that my grandmother had to patch them because every time he would bend over the geese would attack him. I hope your "milder" geese have a better temperament.
The geese are going to be great farmyard guards.... and also fun to watch. That pool set up looks very practical.... I know how messy waterfowl can be. Thanks for sharing. 🦢🦆🐣
The woven ground cover under the rocks will keep away weeds. LOL! Livestock water tank would work well. Quack Shack fits in nicely in Waddlesville. Love it. Thanks for sharing. God bless and protect.
That's going to be a great area for the flocks! It is important to give our animals as good a life as possible. Congratulations on your daughter's wedding & your new son in law!❤
I have 70 acres with 4 ponds on it. We had 3 white and 1 gray geese that would fly from the pastures to the ponds 20 feet in the air. That was so majestic to watch. One of the best things about geese is you can graze them like sheep.
CONGRATULATIONS! To the newlyweds! And to you two on a new son-in-law! Love the name "Waddlesville" and look forward to all the future plans for it! Blessings on your day Kiddos!🥰🌻🐛💕
If your stagger the corners of the landscape timbers it helps hold the corners together, just like building a log cabin.... Also Toe punch or wing tags are a good solution to ID the birds for the rest of their lives.
How exciting!!!! I am so happy for you. Waddelsville is going to be such an exciting place to hang out, and just enjoy. You are so lucky, and we are so happy for y'all. Thank you for sharing this great video with us.
Have you thought of running pipe from the drain on the pond to your garden area? You would be able to fertilize and water the garden while cleaning the duck pond.
Great name. There's nothing like sitting around in the evening watching your birds. I enjoy it a lot. Thanks for doing this for all you feathered friends. O AND NICE BANNER..
Waddlesville is a perfect name. So many fun birds to watch and enjoy. It's going to be a wonderful place can't wait to see Kevin's ideas come to gether 😅❤🥰🐔🪿🦆🏝
Dear Kevin and Sarah i was thinking a hoop coop for the Quail can't be moved. So the ground will dry out. Be dusty in summer and muddy in the winters. What if you made more like a chicken tractor for them. That way you can move them so always on grass. For fermentation and keep them cool in summer. Plus help with the bugs. Thank you for reading.
we bought all materials to change over this fall. we have been using raised rows with black poly and drip tape .we will see the differences are next year.
I live a couple of blocks from a small lake, Royal Lake, where flocks of Canada geese congregate and nest. This morning as I was walking around the lake, there was a loud argument between two geese. I don't know what they were arguing about, since I don't speak goose. The argument escalated into a big fight and these two geese were pounding each other with their wings, pulling out feathers and even pulling each other under the water. The crowd of geese seemed to be chiding the fighting geese saying something like, "Cut it out; you are acting like children." I asked some geese that were not in the flock what it was all about, but since they don't speak human and I don't speak goose, I am not sure that they understood me. Their body language seemed to be saying, "It is always about a woman."
It was 2 males disputing their territory. At our city central park and lake we have intrusive "Canada" (not Canadian) geese. They have so taken over and dominated all other waterfowl in the area - that we have had to raid their nests and remove future generations (!). Also walking around the lake, it looked like a massive raccoon diarrhea plaque - as these geese have c*******d out such piles of chewed grass that you couldn't walk around ... and had to do the two-step and dance so that you didn't p** up your shoes with their debris !!!
@@johnlord8337I'm Canadian and we always laughed that many Americans called the Canada Goose- Canadian. My Mom used to joke I don't think they have a passport with " Canadian" printed on it😁. But lo and behold apparently both are correct; Canada or Canadian Geese according to wikipedia.
American Buffs are a lovely breed. Very sociable and friendly. I had them for years. I found them easy to care for and very hardy up here in Canada. Males still hiss during breeding season but they are not generally aggressive. Enjoy!
The previous place had a duck pond built. It was cemented. Deepest end with a drain that went out eventually down the hill where the seeded chicken food area was. The shallow end was barely a foot cover. There was a shade cover over it and those ducks and chickens loved it. Rocks around the edges. Can’t wait to see your finished product. When they overrun that little kiddie pool, you can use the frame for a cement pond.
I love the name Waddlesville! I love watching your videos. I guess I can sort of identity with you guys because I was born and raised in Wisconsin, moved to Arizona in 1985 and now live in Gilbert. I love where you moved and am a bit sad we are still stuck in the heat of Arizona. We are moving further north in a few years and can't wait to get out of the heat down here. Love your new farm and all your critters! God has definitely blessed you! Thanks for teaching us about all the things you teach!
Im a tractor person ,I like your tractor but have not been able to see what brand it is. My hobbie has been around buy fixing and selling . I have number 65 and this will be my last one. Love your show. what a lucky man to have such a beautiful women to share your life with.
Absolutely LOVE the name and banner!!!! Congratulations to your daughtet and soninlaw prayers for many many years together filled with abundant blessing and wonderful memories ❤ .
Great little town you two have built and had a perfect sign made for WADDLESVILLE . Really looks great. Thanks for sharing with us, keep up the great videos and the fun you share. OLD DAWG DREAMING Fred.
Your pool for the ducklings is going to be wonderful. They will love it and give you pleasure watching them grow. The babies are so cute. Great going for today. The new name is perfect. ❤️
With all the work creating the no-mess duck pond, I would certainly go with a preformed fish pond for a longer lifespan instead of a cheap kiddie pool. What a beautiful picture of the happy couple! Young love!💕🙏 Congratulations!
When I had my quail I made a small mobile aviary. I loved to sit inside with the quail. Quail don't seem to get the moving part so it was easier to catch them all and put them in a tub before moving. They liked to dig bunkers and all you would see would be a few heads poking out of the ground. Bylaw said quail weren't allowed but 4 chicken hens were so now I have chickens.
Beautiful sign. I love how the ducks walked into the scene as you were giving your description. Waddlesville is a great name. Congratulations on the Newlyweds! Next we'll see some beautful Grandbabies on the farm. 🙂
I remember seeing some interesting content about pasture raised quail. Included was design info on a quail tractor so that you could move them to fresh grass. At the time i remember thinking , “huh i wonder what kevin would think of this”.
My son and his family moved to the Ozarks to homestead. He is currently trying to finish the house he built. They live it there (except for the ticks).
Love the name chosen and I can’t wait to see it all come together. The location of the sanctuary is in a great proximity to your home and y’all will have a grand view from your back porch for the cute antics these water foul will bring to you 😂. Congratulations and let the build begin 🎉. What fun it will be to see your progress and the ducks and geese grow into their little water park and playground. ❤be well and safe and much love to all ❤
What a fun space for the ducks . Also congratulations to your daughter and new son in law. ❤
Waddlesville. How appropriate. Congratulations on your daughter's marriage.

Your animals are family pets, so you love them and like spending time with them.

Oh Sara & Kevin!! I love the banner and name! I voted for Waddlesville, great name. This video has been great too!!
My grandfather had patches all over the seat of his pants. I was told that my grandmother had to patch them because every time he would bend over the geese would attack him. I hope your "milder" geese have a better temperament.
How about a mini coaching frizzle hen to go with the silkies...and maybe a tan or buff colored silkie? They are so cute and great mommas
The geese are going to be great farmyard guards.... and also fun to watch. That pool set up looks very practical.... I know how messy waterfowl can be. Thanks for sharing. 🦢🦆🐣
You are a blessing. I love how you take care of your.animals
Perfect name! Can’t prevent imprinting.
Gooood Afternoon , Kevin & Sarah ,
In general more is usually better than less. So at least 12 feet over 8 feet.
Good ☕️☕️ Morning Kevin & Sarah,I love the name you chose! The banner is just AWESOME!Have a great week ahead & week end.🌷💕🌷

I love the sign and the name. And I also love you guys. Your place is beautiful,I am glad you like your new home. God is so good, God bless. ❤
Kevin, I would add some concrete steel rods to the outside corner so you could add a nail to them to secure the wood to the corners.
Waddlesville is a perfect name. So many fun birds to watch and enjoy. It's going to be a wonderful place can't wait to see Kevin's ideas come to gether 😅❤🥰🐔🪿🦆🏝

The way you pronounce "aviary" 🤣👍
Those birds will have a great life in waddlesville, lucky ducks 🙂👍
