Wow, so many good insights to think about! I can see there are multiple ways I need to change my thinking and behavior to become a better partner. Thank you for having Dr. Stosny on the show.

An improvement that could be made is to have more balance between the host and the co-host. I feel like the co-host is commenting and directing the discussion 80% of the time. It'd be a good improvement to have her hold back a little and to have him step up more.

Thank you so much for this interview! I studied him a while back and practiced these principles for years. They've helped me very much to approach a peace that passes understanding. Regardless of the way others choose to act, we can act in hope and faith with core values. This has helped me shun resentment and abide in the love of Jesus Christ.
I wonder about him saying we don't feel loved that often in a loving relationship 34:33
that we don't have to because we feel connected. It sounds off to me because God says to abide in his love John 15:10 Is it more of a male vs female thing?

I liked this video. From my oexperience compassion is the reason to live. I disagree and it boils down to semantics on taking one foe granted. I would have said there's another segment of marriage where you become so familiar with your partner quiet is comfortable. I will have to learn how to feel compassion before getting into the car. Ii would like more compassion.
