A, massive thank you for the videos. I've tried three of your recipes so far, the scones, fruit cake and lemon drizzle. The lemon drizzle was for a church meeting and I got loads of compliments. All turned out really well. Thank you so much for no waffle, no music, down to earth goodness x
Awesome recipes made by an awesome gentleman. For some reason, i get very nostalgic watching your content. You remind me of the 90s when i was in primary school and we had to make scones, cakes and cookies. Such a great time period in my life. What i really like about your recipes is that they're very basic and cost effective, yet look delicious. It's the kind of food i was brought up on. I wish you and your channel all the best sir.
Thanks you very much and yes many of the recipes I'm doing came from my Grandparents and Father when they used to have a baying day, nothing but nostalgia there. Thanks for watching.
I don’t bake.. until now, your channel has inspired me to try something different.. so i decided to make quiche for the kids when they get home from school using your advice and the instructions given, they turned out great.. so thankyou for your time putting these videos together so people like me can enjoy baking on a budget too.. lots of love from Australia 🇦🇺 keep up the great work and thanks again
An egg, bacon and cheese quiche are popular here in Australia = ive never made one myself, just shop bought from the supermarket. but now ill give it a go (with some diced bacon) :)
Hi from New Zealand, I am enjoying watching your channel. You have a great way of explaining everything. Easy and delicious affordable meals. Thank you 😀
Brilliant thanks just the thing now the weather in southern New Zealand is getting colder 👍 great recipe and im so, so glad that you keep everything straight forward without any stupid jingles or other nonsense. Tremendous stuff 🥰
Making it according to this recipe for the second time, but this time with gorgonzola for a change...it is just genius!!! Thanks so much for inspiration!! Greetings from Germany ❤
Been doing some of your recipes and all good would like a date and walnut cake my nan used to make it. My attempts are not as good like to see your one ❤
Last time I made quiche was in cooking class in school I'm 62 so it'll give you an idea of how long ago lol. I must give it ago sometime soon. I'd be adding the bacon and some red peppers 😀
Hello again very nice old fashion school receipe you have showen and under budget awesome. pleased can you possible do a video on a vegetarian cheese and onion pastry pls. I love all your videos thank you. 😊
You Sir are wonderful 👍👏your vids took me straight back to Home Economic classes at school. Please could you do recipe for cheese flan, sheppards pie and fish pie and ruhbarb apple crumble bakewell tart sticky toffee pudding
We did a comparison with local prices. Here's the results: flour 9 cents (was surprised at that) lard 38 cents, butter 53 cents (but that's the super cheap butter that I can never find in person). Onion 45c, cheddar $1.30 (again the super cheap on sale stuff). Cream - I didn't know what %mf your cream is so went whipping cream % 29c, eggs $1.36, oil 10c. I didn't cost the salt and pepper. Total $5.13ish per quiche or 85c per slice in Canadian dollars
I think I should import you straight to my kitchen. I have a huge pantry and two large deep freezes which you can access to your hearts content. I can offer an organic garden which is all for your use. A large garden cottage where you can feel right at home. The only condition would be baking and cooking something simple but tasty every day. I don't ask for much and you can use your imagination on what to make each day. I promise I won't say a word besides, thank you that was delicious! 😅😂😊
Beautiful quiche. I appreciate your sharing your talent and wonderful recipes. I'm a very old man who remembers when . Bless you and your wonderful baking!

Just a question about the rice you used for blind baking. Do you keep the same rice for all your blind baking? Am I right in thinking that the rice is no use for anything else once it's been used for blind baking? Thanks for a great channel!
Canada is also getting more communistic, we are not allowed 'news' on Facebook anymore ... you can't rent a 1 bedroom apartment that's nice for under $1800, homes average from $700K where I live to well over millions. He still gets less expensive ingredients than what I can find (here in CA, USA).
Yes the UK seems to be cheaper for many things....hopefully still less expensive than shop bought. Thanks.

That's interesting $5.13 Canadian dollars is about £2.90 British Pounds.....so not too far away form the £2.34 UK cost. Thanks a lot.
Any chance of a hit cross bun recipe?
Hot cross buns to come, but not before easter unfortunately.

Yes I keep the rice for blind baking only and use it over and over. Thanks.
