Haha it's ok Keira, no balms were harmed in the making of this video! That was a very old tube so it was probably time to let it go, but believe it or not, that was only just over a third of the balm! So much inside 👏 x

Ich bin immer wieder verwundert, dass sie immer noch nicht nach Dt liefern, dabei ist es doch voll der große Markt (und viel größer als DK und Schweden?). Online hieß es ewig, dass sie Ende ‘19/Anfang ‘20 anfangen werden aber dies ist ja bisher nicht eingetreten... Müssen wir einfach die Daumen drücken. Vaseline has a "rosy lips" tin! Burts Bees also has tinted balms if you're looking for other drug store brands

The brand Fresh has a beautiful Caramel lip balm (the ones in tins, not the tubes) as well as a mint, lemon, and peach i think? They all smell so fresh when I've looked at them at Sephora. The peach takes me back to going to the farmer's stand as a kid!

I don't know why anybody would wanna change the formula of the "world's best lip balm". I don't hate the new formula, but it's thinner and feels different. I love the new applicator and the flavors and colors look the same. I'm obsessed with birthday but I've busted open 3 tubes trying to mix it up because it separates. Hoping the new formula won't separated. I adore the birthday, my 3nd is berry, my 3rd is rose. I've never tried coconut but it's gonna be on my next order along with mint and wild fig. I have wild fig in the old packaging but I actually love the color of it so the new tube will be nice for it. I also love the Swiss miss, mango is ok, cherry and cookie butter are ok... but BIRTHDAY BALM DOTCOM IS EVERYTHING

I can’t get my hands on glossier products where I live but I definitely want to try the rose balm one day. Speaking of rose: I know that you don’t take requests for videos but I really love the way you do your makeup tutorials (like the wedding guest one) and would love to see an “english rose” look that you often mention, just as a suggestion!

I agree with your comment about using this product as an added protective layer on top of a hydrating balm/product so much! I LOVE balm dot calm as a Canadian. I have the brave some very harsh winds and even in those conditions it lasts for hours. I use a collagen lip product for repair underneath and my lips have never been better!

ehhh... natural really doesn't mean better though, it's usually just a marketing ploy.
True, I'll be talking about the definition (or lack thereof) of 'clean beauty' in a video in future! 👍 I personally find balms with natural ingredients like nourishing oils, butters and lanolin much more effective than those with petroleum jelly as their main ingredient x
My exact thought! I hate this new trend of "natural" makeup & skincare marketing. What is natural even? Everything is natural, everything is chemistry. I'm not saying that natural is always worse, but it's not better in every case either. Brands are making people worry about normal compounds and it's not good.
i mean, some natural products are good, but petroleum isn't a renewable source, and we use petroleum for gas. if we run out, no gas, no bdc :(
Stella A lot of companies like to use “natural” as a way to draw people in, even if they aren’t really the best for you. I’ve mainly seen this with shampoo and conditioner where brands add a few extra natural ingredients and a lady with a soft voice talks about how great they are in the commercials, when in reality they still have ingredients that aren’t so good and just charge a bit more. A similar thing also happens with fast fashion and green washing. I don’t have a ton of info on it, but it’s pretty screwed up how misleading companies can be when it comes to how good their product actually is.

Rose, coconut, and Birthday are the only ones I have. I bought the original for my husband and he’s now obsessed! And I agree that coconut does taste kind of... cakey. I have to agree with you on the watermelon flavor. Maybe it could be a brighter pink shade than the rose!

I just started using these 2 days ago. I have been wanting to buy them but don't really order online and tried others. I love these, so far! At night, I apply them with Vaseline. Before this, I used Revlon Exfoliating Balm along with Vaseline.
I had a bump two nights ago when I first tried these. I applied a little of Unscented one with Vaseline over it and the next night before bed I noticed the bump was gone. Yesterday all day I wore Mango. They all smell so nice 😍 😋

Anyone else watching this after they released the wild fig balm dot com?
Just an fyi for anyone who was looking to buy some balm dotcom: I got the mango flavor one and I loved it! But then it started to separate and no matter how much I’ve tried to mix it back, I just wouldn’t pull itself together. If that doesn’t bother you, then I recommend it. This might not happen to all mango ones, but just in case
Interesting Emma! My Mango balm hasn't done that, but you can see the Coconut in this video has separated a bit in the heat of Australian summer. I find the texture usually sorts itself out though! 👍 x

balm dot com is just okay for me as it’s fancy vaseline lip balm which i need to frequently reapply (kind of like EOS or softlips) BUT i love the flavors and scents. such a guilty pleasure purchase and i’m all for it. would love to see glossier take on something along the lines of key lime pie !

Just purchased my first few tubes of this and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite balms ever. My lips react pretty well to petroleum, and chapstick brand chapstick has been a go to for me for a long time. Loving these cause the flavors are better and there’s more happening with the lanolin and other ingredients. My lips have been going through a hella dry spell and using the rose bdc before bed fixed the issue over night. Rocking birthday today!

After watching this for the Nth time, I finally bit the bullet and bought coconut, mango, mint, rose, and birthday! I love them! I was pleasantly surprised at how much I love coconut and mango. Coconut tastes exactly like a dessert called coconut macaroons, while mango tastes exactly like a variant of mango called wani!

For whatever reason the Balm Dotcom’s are so healing on my lips, even moreso than more expensive brands. Not sure how this is possible w so much petroleum jelly in the formula, but I’m on team Balm Dotcom in all situations including wearing to bed

I've finally bit the bullet and ordered Birthday, Mango and Berry because I'm in the UK and I've just squeezed the last bit of my Bite agave mask from its tube and they discontinued my favourite maple flavour!
I love lip balms but hate it when they smell good to taste horrid. So that's why I bought these. I like tasting lip balms haha

My favourite it berry right now. I hate the feeling of lipstick on my lips so the berry tint with the balmy feel is everything. I love to wear for a simple berry tint. I’m hoping for more tinted colours in the future. Cherry is the one I’m picking up next

I'd love an earl grey, Georgia peach, watermelon, guava, or even a lavender like someone else mentioned! Ooh or a lavender earl grey! The possibilities are endless! My favourites out of the current lineup are coconut and mango! (Can you tell I miss summer?) The coconut one tastes just like my mom's coconut cream cake, and the mango like Mango Hi-Chews! I recently got my boyfriend hooked on the mint, and he wants to try mango next, after pinching a bit of mine haha!

Definitely agree with the coconut one tasting like a baked good! I have four currently: cherry, coconut, mint, and birthday, and I have to say birthday is definitely my favourite. Not my favourite balm I have (laneige lip mask in grapefruit and the original formula of the bite lip balm are) but I’ve been reaching for them quite a lot recently because of how well they protect against the cold Albertan winds here in Canada!

I feel like these are a cheaper, tube version of Fresh's lip treatment. Those have a thick soothing texture but don't really moisturize my lips either. I find myself only using my rose balm during the Chicago winter. I would love to see a peach or watermelon, maybe even a caramel. Thanks for the video!
Ooh very good point Grace! I *love* Fresh's balms for the tints but agree that they're not that moisturising - I wear them more for the colour like a sheer lipstick, not for hydration 👍 Caramel is such a great call! x

Some balm ideas:
tropical punch - a red-pink tint with a little glitter
pineapple- very light yellow tint
plum- a dark magenta tint
peach- white glitter with a light pink tint
