I'm so happy people are keeping these cars alive. I loved my but after 10yr of the dumbest repairs, I gave up. I miss driving it but then my subaru actually starts when I turn the key and I miss my r52 a little less.

My is r50 has 9drive fitted with gs2 powerchip. I'm going have it remapped to 340bhp.that be later on in the year .working on a unique body kit my mates sells atm asking abit too much 640 for fenders and side skirt.best fenders I order from Russia 270 the original ones.but may just buy the side skirts .if any1 needs info I can pass over details.in Birmingham

Sorry you feel that way! I currently own a Type R but am in the R53OC and honestly the amount of humor and banter i see within the posts is one of the main things that makes me want an r53 again. To be apart of that community. Type R group is TOXIC. VXR's Groups are Equally as bad, sometimes hit or miss and VAG groups are just disgusting. Honestly do think the R53OC is one of the better groups out there tbf.

love my R52 but the fact that the steering pump whine is louder than a lot of the idles is so hilariously R50 series
