Having done a demo ride on both the Eluder and the New Venture I found that the Eluder was much more comfortable from the moment I sat down. The power was great, the handling was outstanding, and the sound system was top notch. Having ridden a Roadstar for a number of years the difference in this bike was night and day. If and when the time comes to trade in my current motorcycle I will again take a look at the Eluder as possible replacement.
I'd be more inclined to go with the new Venture. This bike doesn't appeal to me in the least. It may have more bells and whistles, but it doesn't look as good as the Street Glide it's trying to emulate.
It's called the 'Eluder' after Yamaha's Warranty Policy where they will knock back every Warranty Claim you dare to submit to them. 'Eluder' is their corporate inside Joke on this policy, so beware Yamaha Japan don't approve Warranty claims on their Motorcycles.
Wouldn't buy neither this bike or the new Ventura bike pricing is getting way out of hand buy that bike $27,000 ride it for a year decide to sell it and you're lucky if you can get 14 to 15 for it no resale value at all
