10 Most Embarrassing Records In Football History
That Derby County record is the most Newastle thing imaginable. You forgot to mention they also drew with them, meaning 4 of those 11 points came from Newcastle.
We have a Newcastle and a Derby fan at 5 a side. The fact the only game Derby won was v Newcastle gets bought up almost weekly
Longest time without a goal (for a recognised striker)
Most penalty misses
Most players leaving a club in a single transfer window
Probably Emile Heskey
giroud once played a full game for france and touched the ball a total of 0 times
Swedish side Hammarby, formed in 1897, regularly playing in the top division and only being champions of Sweden ONCE!
bruh.
Mate... Tottenham Hotspur

the last time spurs won a first division title my 60 years old mother wasn't born yet.
Since then England (yes, England) went on to win the world cup. Maradona went on to punch the ball to the back of the net. Baggio cried in the world cup final. We seen the most boring world cup final in 1990 (a match that most players struggled at stay awake during the game), France won their first significant encounter since Napoleon (against Brazil), later got dumped out by Senegal 4 years later, Singapore won FOUR (yes, somehow, I don't know how) Southeast Asia Football Titles, Iraq winning Asia cup and Wes Morgan winning more Premiership trophy than Steven Gerrard.
Argentine side Gimnasia de La Plata. Formed in 1887, it is the oldest football team which is still operating in the country, yet they only won the league in 1930
Espanyol spent 86 yearse out of 91 in the top flight without winning a league title
And here was me thinking Glauber Berti had the shortest PL career on the pitch, getting about 8 minutes in City’s last game of the 08/09 season. Sixty seconds is a shocker! Plus, I was sure Dunney scored more than 10 own goals, he seemed to do it so often for us. We still loved him, mind, mainly because he was the very definition of “typical City” back then.
Martin Palermo: the only player to miss 3 penalties in a single match.
Franco Baresi, possibly the greatest defender of all time, has the Serie “A” record with 8. Puts Dunne’s own goals in perspective.
Like honestly the reason Dunne managed to score so many own goals was because he is like at least in the top 10 of premier league defenders for appearences, with his 430 appearences which means like an own goal every other season, plus he was literally manchester cities greatest player for over a decade
Every player is flawed, but he was an amazing player for a long time
plus hes irish
love Ireland
we love you too Mortan
Dunne won 5 mancity POTYs in a row he was a fine player
Oil city was shit back then easy to look good before the billions
Yeah I agree, he was decent. A bit clumsy when he got into bad positions but most of the time he was astute enough to read the game not to get caught out.
Were those POTY wins in the 2nd Division or 1st?
@@bzilla-d4i 1st division. Maybe 1 was div2
There was a defender in a women's match between New Zealand and USA recently who scored a perfect hat trick of own goals (left foot, right foot + header)
This video isn't complete without Phil Jones
🐐
Most tackles with head
Still got more league titles than Gerrard.
@@LudnicaSa4Klipa And like 100 United players finger nails will have a bigger legacy than Gerrard.
Even Anderson has 4 PLs and a Champions League and he was shit.
Manchester City scored the most goals (80) in the 1937-38 English First Division, but were relegated - the only time this has happened in First Division/Premier League history.
+ the only team to win the league one year and get relegated the following year.
Amazing video, nice facts!
You should look into a player called Sven van Beek with own goals 😂 (he has 8 so far, but he is 27, so he might break the record)
mark noble getting subbed on in the 93rd minute against man united only to miss a penalty is one of my favourite records.
1 minute played. 1 touch of the ball. 1 missed penalty.
I loved Gerardo Bedoya record, both as a player and a coach. Nobody can top that.
When Harry Maguire got relegated twice in one season has to be a record... right?
Shitguire will break most of these records in no time.. most own goal, most red cards, most relegation... And most teammates injured maybe?😂😂😂
@@Drainyie goatguire
Dunne was a great player on his day look at Russia vs Ireland and you'll see
Ramos should have had more! Especially the premeditated attack on Salah in the CL final.
That's the first person I've ever seen with his face where his right bicep is supposed to be. It wouldn't have happened under var rules. When someone touches your right arm and you go down holding your face and he gets sent off, you deserve a Hollywood star, an Emmy, a Tony and an Oscar.
Awesome video 😌👍✨
I am surprised Paul McShane doesn’t have the most Premier league ogs
If this were HITC Sports, it would be full of nothing but Paul McShane!
Wasn't the shortest premier league career 36 seconds for Nick Culkin
Rudy Gestede joined Melbourne victory, the team I go for. He's gone now, but he scored some great goals
Venezuela: 0 World Cup appearances, 0 Americas Cup won
That fastest red was no red
Erling Haaland first ever player to be knocked out of the Champions League twice in one season
No fight in football is interesting than elclasico fight
Fastest red card is for Djienoua.
3 sec.
He got in, he slapped a player by accident, he went out.
That last one cheered me up, given that we are having nightmare season.
0:33 That gentleman in red knowing Dunne's own goal track tried to help the dude not get another one
So kind of him
Unpopular opinion
Sunderland is was of the greatest teams to follow in the premier league era.
149 : 0!!! You kidding right?! 😳
Narrator legendary🤣🤣
..walking red card..
Lol
I am a Middlesbrough fan and they are roaring up the championship table now 🦁
I'm sure Nick Culkin holds the record for the shortest PL career. He was a goalkeeper for Man United and came on deep into injury time. As soon as he took the very kick to resume the game, the ref blew for full time.
Everton, most losses in Premier league history. Also most losses in top flight history.
Haven't they been in the top flight the longest out of all the teams? I'm pretty sure I'm right on that so it would make sense
@@captainhindsight6994 So why haven't they got most wins in the top flight?
Derby County is a kid compared to Íbis and Atlético Mogi's records in games without win
I would add England vs Italy and Brazil vs mexico
More like 10 most embarrassing records in premiere league.
Christoph Kramer with the longest own goal.
There is someone who sweared 2 seconds after the game started and got a red card
0:35 I THOUGHT it was harry magiure
In a match where both teams were both trying to win Arbroath beat Bon Accord 36 - 0 this was in the Scottish Cup in 1885 this was an embarrassment for Bon Accord but the 149 - 0 business was an embarrassment to football .
This deserves more views
Well one thing can be said about Gerardo Bedoya, he never changed 😂
Nice job using the sidemen outro song at 2:30
“ fine Ill do it myself” -Harry Maguire.
I had a poster of Richard dunne on my bedroom wall. Shows how shit it was to be a city fan back in the day
I am Argentine, and seeing Claypole and Victoriano Arenas' record made me feel proud of my country's football
You should be embarrassed smh
Aguante argentina
Herman Hreidesson and Nathan Blake, sunk more times than Uncle Albert!
you used the wrong olympiacos logo
i would be interested in what the per minute stats of a lot of these would be (clearly wouldn't make sense for all), but, red cards per minute, own goals per minute ect. (i have honestly forgotten if there were more that work already lol) also, how about worst pass completion, and most errors leading to goals.. Probably all super annoying stats to figure out (:
One guy got a red card after 2 seconds of the game. When the ref blew his whistle to start the game. The player said "F**k that was loud" So he got a red after 2 sec
Most world cup losses I think is Mexico. Most goals scored against in the world cup, I think it's South Korea against Hungary in 1954? 9-0!
The red card one is wrong - Lee Todd god one 2 seconds into a match
What about the country whose champions have never been managed by someone who is a native of that country! Since its founding in 1992 no English manager has won the English Premier League. 30 years and counting.
Partially bad research. The fastest red card was one second and happened to a player in the fifth division of Wales or whatever, and the 149:0 result was nullified.
Newcastle came back from 19th place to 9th place after the singings and a new manager
Add Ben foster to the 5 relegations
Harry maguire most own goals
3:05 8th tier??? how many tiers are there?
So that's 149 (one hundred and forty nine) nil on the BBC.
1:46 Wasn't it Rodwell with 39
Here, before this vid gets 1mil+ views!
Loser
I'm actually a sunderland fan
I'm sunderland til I die
that red card was bollocks
never a red give the other player an oscar
Funny how they showed Norwich for relegations
Harry Maguire has 11 own goals
Vinnie Jones red card was 5 seconds
Where is Phil Jones?😡
Number 11: Inventing the game and getting a several decades-long head start of all other countries except Scotland but still only have one major title - that was won thanks to dubious refereeing.
What?
@@smoothbun England.
@@sebastianstiernspetz7205 the wc is the trophy u talkin ab?
@@smoothbun Literally, what do you even mean?
Nick Culkin for man utd is the shortest premier league app 7 secs vs arsenal
Tut tut demotion and jersey.
Black cat is not unlucky, they are cute. Its Sunderland who got fucked up.
Once I scored 3 own goals in one game. But nobody cared, we lost 18-0...
Odd i norway have the record on most cup-titles in Norway - but have never won the leauge
Merry xmas
man you said olympiakos bolou but you puted the badge of olumpiakos
I don't understand why Pele is considered a football legend, Pele is overrated he doesn't have half of the abilities the footballers has today, his score record is because of the lack of the rules back then, there was no offside
He won 3 World cups he didn't won Ballendor because until 1996 only the award was only for Europeans he had more skill than you could imagine people don't overrate him you underrate him RIP pele 🙏
Sir Alex won 16 league titles(13 English Prem 3 Scottish Prem)
100
df
Where is harry maguire
maguire?
Maguire
Maybe maguire might beat the record of most own goals 😂😂
Newcastle coughing a 12pt lead in January 96 to finish 4 pts behind utd 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Richard Dunne, scored 10 times as many own goals in his Premier League, than Obi John Mikel scored goals in his Premier League Career. Thank God OJM, he never played for United
Wrong olympiacos badge.
Richard Dunny NO WAY try Noel Blake
How is 36 red cards possible in a match 😭
The ref was like you get a red card and you get a red card. Everyone get’s a red card
@@darkskinned4286 probably sent himself and the linesmen off too!
The most underrated football youtube channel I've ever seen. Keep up the work man!
His vids are awesome and has great quality, severely underrated
This is the first video I’ve seen from this guy and have subscribed before even watching the video purely based on this comment you better not have lied
Eventually Harry Maguire will beat him
The fastest red card... İ don't think he deserved it
Southampton haven't won a game without Stuart Armstrong playing since November 2019
maguire will beat richard 1 day
1:36 that red shirt guy diving
That red card seems a bit harsh
Most years not winning anything as a manager - Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) 23 years
