I just purchased the sketch 6pc skin tones set from Copic on Amazon for $25. I'm slowly building my Copic markers starting with skin tones. This vid was great on showing how to get the most from your markers. I loved the final results.
Don't agree I think that drawing wiff waffles and kasey goldens art style is much better and more cartoony but hers Is good too I guess... no offence this is just my personal opinion
@@senpaibuns7618 you cant have a "better" art style, it's all down to preference. I totally get your point and it's your own opinion, but maybe word it differently because you might receive a bit of backlash.
OMG thank you soooo much! As you know copics are kinda pricey and I saved up enough money and I didn’t know which colors to buy! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Edit: omg I NEVER get hearts from TH-camrs ❤️❤️❤️😁
With darker colours, I tend to use a wayyy lighter colour (like E00) at the end to smoothen every colour out. In my work this really helps since it doesn't change the colour but it blends the darker colours beautifully together
I found one of her videos in late December and it inspired me to start drawing again after I stopped for a few years, I’ve been drawing almost everyday since and learning new art styles and techniques, thank you for getting me to draw again ☺️💗
Thank sooo much for this video 🥰🙏🏿! Just started using Copics and was having issues figuring out the best skin tone combination for the darkest skin and this video helped IMMENSELY 😍. Keep up the awesome work ❤️.
This is so helpful! Copics has so many colors it's hard to figure out what colors will work best for me and it's disappointing to spend so much money and the color turns out to be the wrong choice. Thank you for this video!
This is so helpful! I have been struggling on picking the right skin tones. This gives me a great idea about which colors go together and how they combine to make a good tone.
OMG thank you so muchhh!!!! Finally! I was waiting so long cuz i wanted to buy skin tone copics but i didnt knew which i should buy!! Also, if i buy Ciao and not theese, is there going to be a differense? Thank youuuuuuuuuuu btw! ❤ (Edit: OMG SHE HEARTED MY COMMENT!!!!) 😶😶😶😶😀😀😀

Thank you so much for this video! I was just about to buy two or three Copic skin tones for my birthday (because guess who inspired me to start drawing again) and this video is just the advice I needed 😘
Natalia you are a amazing artist and have inspired me to draw more but I'm having trouble finding my art style. Can you please make a video how to find your art style/how I find my art style? Thanks! ❤
A tip to get smooth fills over large areas: flick toward the central open space from two sides. From the center, flick outward toward your edges until the feathered regions meet and you have equal color saturation throughout. Always try your best to keep your working edge moist with ink. Once it dries, you will find that laying wet on top of dry will leave you with a darker area (leaving streaks from the marker strokes). A good way to get better at coloring with Copics and other alcohol markers is to practice with watercolor. They share a lot of application techniques. If a technique works well with watercolor, it will _probably_ work very similarly with alcohol ink. The biggest difference: alcohol dries significantly faster. Dry time is nearly negligible with Copics, but that also leaves you with very little work time - making large fills particularly challenging. This flick method would work great on something the size of the faces in the video. Just make sure you’re okay using the full saturation of the marker color you’re using (instead of E000 for the fair skin here, you would probably use E0000 instead). They both definitely have their pros and cons. I prefer Copics, but I also like to have the materials to do something in watercolor if Copics seem an unreasonable option for whatever reason.
I totally freaked out when I saw your introduction because I have half of those drawings saved in my gallery since last year and there were no names on them! I literally use them for inspiration 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
LOVE the video and certainly helps in finding basic colors for skin color pigments, identifying them and such! Esp as a person of color-bad enough it's hard to find the right skin tone for your make up and when you're a black girl and come in so many various of brown, from beige to really dark earth tone colors it's a workout. There's pretty much not a color my race doesn't come in unless its pink undertones. My family background is pretty much a rainbow lol. I wish I could find more anime colors of color and esp. my prospective! Love to glorify it in the realm of anime! I truly WISH there were more artists in the tractional art making world to be on DeviantArt! It's in dire need of different media of art and artist! Lately, there has only been a surge of digital/computer art only, 3D, etc. and I don't understand why that is?? No excuse, there should always be a diverse nature of art and certainly of course artist. I hope to see beautiful art works of every nature, traditional, knitting, sculpting on Devinart. I had a lot of fav artists in every direction, spectrum of art and it's like they either left of traded their skills to computer art. It's the same with the clubs, the artists making clubs are more into to themselves than generalizing it for everyone as to specific, general categorizing.
You are amazing! your art style is so perfect and stylish! I love also how unique and special you can make your drawings, so EVEN if Leonardo Da Vinci copied your drawings, they would never compare ❤️😂
Yeah it's very helpful 😊 am a drawing artist and I never try to use Marcus for skin tone like that I always use pencils, seeing that hand me thinking you know what I'll get one of those and give it a try 👍🎉👍
It's so interesting how different colours can change the drawing, the fair and fark look like differenr people! Please do the same video with promarkers, I'm having issues! Thanks x
