I’m kinda sad cuz I think I have the first one (tho I’m not really sure) but I do love the skin color combos for the 2.0. I’m happier with the desaturation of the darker tones n the different light skin tones. I’m a POC artist so I tend to have more brown tone ocs but for art trades and commissions it’s better to have good lighter skin tone sets. Thanks for the help you and Rin(drawingwiffwaffles) have been my main reason to start my Ohuhu journey.

I try to say O-hue-hue (like the color hue) just so I don't think of that. -Ohuhu reminds of of some granny talking about a hoohoo LOLOLOL (really it would have made more since if the brand was said o-hue-hue)

I should have a link to the brush markers in my description. And at the moment I use the Ohuhu marker pad and for single sheets, I use X-Press It blending cards
Idk if this helps, but I use artist loft sketchbooks from Michael’s, which are really cheap but have a nice paper quality. I do marker drawings on those and they turn out just as good as ones on thicker paper or on marker paper (they do bleed through tho, so be careful and put a sheet of paper underneath to protect the other piece of paper underneath your drawing) Of you want a sketchbook then those are great, and if you just want individual sheets of paper then (like Halalela said) X-Press It blending cards work well too. And there are types of sketchbooks with paper specially for markers that you can tear out sheets from! :D

i heard vellum board is nice for this medium ! i also know a youtuber that uses printer paper for copics
sukaiie normal printer paper isn’t the best for copics bc it soaks up their ink a lot, and it will bleed through a lot, as well. It still works tho

here's the youtuber i was talking about, they prefer printer paper because they can get smoother blending and they can add more layers.
Shadows should be hard lines when a shadow is being cast (think of your own shadow-it's usually not blended out, but instead there is a clear edge/line). Shadows should be blended more to show the form of something- a sphere or ball's shape naturally has a softer shadow gradient from the side in the light to the side in shadow, not a hard edge. So figuring out where the light is, what is immediately in light and what is in shadow can be helpful determining what to lay down where! I usually would draw a small arrow in pencil somewhere on the page just to keep track of what I decided.
I like your style so much! It's a mix of cartoon and anime to me. I'm not sure if that's what others see but it's so interesting. My art style is just anime poorly drawn.

ok thats it, my hair is going back to being pink 😛 this set does seem like it has a nice range of skin tones, its next on the list of art supplies to get since I dont have many skin toned markers

If drawing traditionally you would have to either redraw or draw one piece first and retrace. But if you're working with digital lineart as I did in this video, you would draw one piece, and then copy paste as many times as you'd like to achieve several of the same lineart

this was really helpful! I just bought these ones and i couldnt find a review of them so thanks for making this! Also, how did you print out the multiple pictures of the same thing?
she most likely drew it up digitally (or scanned some tranditional lineart) and then multiplied the image to fill a page that she printed out on. more art focus printers are good about printing lineart for artists this way (ex. youtuber "katvalk" prints out her lineart on bristol board paper) this is a good way of testing colors before diving into a giant piece and wasting your marker ink!

Yes. Alot of my lineart work is digital, so when I finished drawing the girl once, I simply copy/pasted her an extra five times to do this demo. 😊
