these work well and have lots fof features but mine tends to freeze up sometimes....it can get annoying
Hi can you please tell me if i can do a steering angle sensor reset on a vx commodore ecotec v6? Btw I did a power balance test and I can't find any information on how to work out the 6 readings? I have watched a number of videos and nothing on the vident i400au scantool? Any reply appreciated cheers 👍
Unfortunately SAS reset is not available on the i400AU for VX.
For the test the best way to go is via Just Commodore forum here forums.justcommodores.com.au/ as there is lots of good information re scan tools and functions on different Commodore models.
Just checked oil pressure with this scan tool on an 05 commodore alloytec and instead of the unit of measurement reading with PSI after the number like in the video mine is just blank, so I'm left to assume the unit of measurement, is there a way to change this at all?

Hi would it be able to do steering angle sensor calibration on VE？
Unfortunately not and there is no other scanner in our range that woiuld be able to do so on VEs.
Is it compatible with RA Rodeos?
Depending on the year, the i400au will work with Holden RA Rodeo.

@@hassysid9338 We do not sell MK808 so it is not fair for us to compare. Vident covers OBD2 as well as ALDL (OBD1 or some people call them OBD1.5) Holdens including the advanced features and that makes it unique. Are you a mechanic by trade or are you looking for a unit for personal use?

these things are total china junk. have had two go out in less than a year. .they would not honor the warranty either....
Hi @mark vietti. Sorry to see your frustrations you are having on your end.
To clarify- There is no order under your name in our system so not sure. We are a regular Australian business operating under Australian law and we do take care of our warranty. The Vident scanners in particular come with 1 year warranty and we can also service them after one year if needed.
What is your order ID and warranty claim number? We would like to locate them in our system..
@@azscanners I got it off ebay. when i ran a warranty claim they told me the seller was responsible, but the ebay seller would not reply to email after email..
