Very Helpful video. I've been using Elements for interior page headers with the few Templates tags and it works great but I have to custom style. Do the site block headers allow the template tags like: {{post_title}}. ?
Block editor all over the page looks nice! How does the export work, are these Elements part of Generatepress Settings json? Is there a main menu block for creating headers?
You can check GeneratePress' documentation here: docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_post_date_output/#only-show-updated-date As for adding the time, you'll have to change the format within WordPress' dashboard settings.
@@elvinabquina7853 Thanks Elvin for the reply, I have gone through this thing, it shows only the date but I want to display time too. In WordPress dashboard, right now time format is g:i a Preview: 7:19 am It would be appreciated if you help me with time show or provide any video or article link
There's one thing I want to point out. If anyone uses the classic editor plugin while using this theme TURN IT OFF. They both don't work well together.
omg u saved me a giant headache. this is something THEY should be pointing out. I was banging my head on the wall trying to figure out why it looked different, for 2 hours. You saved me from insanity, thanks.
@@jayroo10 no problem! I’m glad it helped because I was losing my MIND trying to figure it out. Then something clicked and told me to turn it off and it worked. Glad it saved you some time.
@@the9-5ranter I keep forgetting I have classic editor, since I've been so used to not needing it in the past. Sucks how Wordpress make updates that totally throw you off, like they with the editor.
It's always so funny to see how for developers and software owners it's all so clear and simple and then produce such youtube videos. 😂😂 Ever thought about working on a basic documentation of why which settings trigger what? 🙄Your documentaion is bad and incomplete, this also shows the forum that goes over with 5000 contributions and always contains the same questions 😐 Such videos are of limited help. For example, it is also never (nevermlas!) mentioned that the paid generatepress theme, does not include generateelements-pro or (what the hell am i thinking) is offered as a bundle. 🙄
Just bought the Premium version, and frankly, I'm underwhelmed. The interface is not intuitive -- well maybe for For "geeky" technical folks it is. But having used Elegant Themes, and Brixy, there's a huge difference in the approach to building a Wordpress site. Anyone who says Generate press is "Easy" , simply can't relate to the average beginner.
This is a powerful feature. Thanks for the great overview. I feel like I have a clearer understanding of Elements and how to use them.
Never thought Generatepress could do this... It is really mind blowing.
Wonderful run through.
Thank you.

So how do you make the notice? These videos presume we know how to do all of this..
I think this Block Builder is going to replace all the other builders.
Exactly what I was looking for! 👍
