Is spray painting rims really worth it?

Today i slightly change the colour of my rims, and I'm still not to sure how to feel about the out come.

I painted my 15 year old wheels. So far so good. The secret once again is quality prep.

Looks good .Well it is cheaper than powder coating but I would still powder coat them .

So i painted my rims before i had gained the experience you need to do it correctly. No offense to you but rims especially translate thewprk and material you use directly to the finished product. A job like this is a bandaid and up needing fully redone every year or so and will the soft paint and clear will show every imperfection
