The Snapmaker J1S IDEX 3D printer is the best 3D printer with two extruders I have ever seen. Because of the two extruders, it makes it easy for the Snapmaker J1S to do dual-color printing, duplication mode printing, and thus increase printing efficiency. In this video, I test some important performance properties for you while using the Snapmaker J1S.

The innovative dual-extrusion 3D printer offers excellent print quality, which I really appreciate.
thank you so much!
Printing a lid for a box in PETG with PLA support. 400 color changes. This would be 10h in filament swaps with my Bambo X1C…
2.17.24. .. my J1 has has stuck filament in the right extruder nozzle.. How do i took out the hot end.. do i twist of the nozzle tip with a wrench?
Sorry to hear this, yes, unscrew the hot end to clean the residue, maybe you should ask the Snapmaker official technical support.
Nice Review, thanks it helps me a lot.
It‘s my pleasure
The 3-color character with the blue bands above the wrist. How did you accomplish that?
I painted it
@@TechnicalTrendy Ok, thanks. I'm currently looking at the Snapmaker IDEX and the PRUSA XL for its 5-color option. Reviewers say that the Bambu Labs multi-color option is reliable, but too wasteful in terms of time and materials. On the horizon is the CoPrint add-on solution, but reviews on its performance are scarce.
@@vy1w1yv Yes, multi-color printing takes too long and also more material waste
Question, did you try it with water soluble filament for supports?> Thanks for the vid.
I haven't try it LOL
@@TechnicalTrendy I would say it is the single biggest reason to buy this printer. @Cjsairgunscarsandmachining have a look at this channel. Lots of issues with this machine.
How did you make that Retraction model (stl ) the cylinder looks super cool
I downloaded the cylinder from the Internet because I think it is suitable for testing retraction
I need a dual extruder printer to print something with two-color
yes, it is easy to print a dual-color model

Hello from France
I am very interested in this J1 printer, I have seen a lot of video with supposedly noise problems in the rails and also extrusion problems with the nozzles which are blocked.
When is it really, have you encountered this kind of problem or the impressions are up to the Bambu lab P1s
Thanks in advance for the response
Hi, I haven't encountered these problems so far. Personally, I like this machine because of the dual extruder lol...

@@TechnicalTrendy Should you take the J1 with the fan option or is the J1S different except for the fact that it is fully mounted
Have you tried using OrcaSlicer???
@@hervebeaulieu the j1s included the fan. I use its Luban software to control the printing process. Haven't tried using OrcaSlicer. The Luban software can basically meet my needs
@@TechnicalTrendy Thank You Very Much
