THANK YOU for sharing your experiences. I have my F2F this month. Your recommendations & advice are giving me ALOT of confidence. These videos are a virtual window of what to expect as a cabin crew. My outmost appreciation and best wishes on your new career!!! My friend, I hope to see you out there someday ✈️✈️✈️ Always aim high 💪🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻😊😊
Hey Luis. Thank you so much for the comment and the kind words. It’s great to hear that the videos have helped you out. Congratulations on your upcoming face-to-face interview. I wish you all the very best and know that you’re going to knock it out of the park. Please let me know if there are any other questions that I can help with. Until then have a wonderful evening. Thanks so much.😀👍
@@valenciaflyer Well my friend, Thanks MAINLY to your videos…. I did pass my F2F interview!!!! Was on 4/22/24 on Denver😉 Still waiting on my BG check email but I’m 💯 will succeed too. Watching closely your video experiences and writing everything down to know what yo expect. There’s no way I can thank you enough!! Hopefully will meet at one of those airports someday 😊😊😊
Thank you very much for sharing your three day pairing. It is good to know that you guys in the states call it as three days rotation. It is the best of line introduction for new hires. Thanks again and looking forward to your next clip.
Hi there Justin. Thanks so much for the comment. I hope the video was entertaining and informative for you. We also call it a trip, In addition to a rotation depending on who you talk to. Always great to hear from you. Thank you for your continued support. Have a great night.😁
My pleasure. Thanks so much for watching. Got another episode coming soon. I’ve been working a lot lately so it’s taking me a bit longer to get it out. Thanks for watching and subscribing! Have a great night! 😀
VF, most interesting and thankfully for showing it. The commute truly IS sort of a second job with no pay. But if you have a house in Van obverse and wanna stay there, then that just is the price for that. Imagine the insecurity of being able to get on one of the Embraers can be a little anxious. PBJ sandwiches are great. Love peanut butter for sure. Drive carefully and sit down in turbulence, no matter what a pax wants. Herman
You are my favorite!!!! Thank you!!! Greek speaking flight attendant have my in person interview w/ a major airline you give me inspiration thank you ❤️
Hey there Priscila. Thank you so much for the comment. I’m happy you enjoyed it. I’ve got a Zurich trip I’m working on now where I will show my first international trip. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Have a great night! 😁
Yes, so true. Commuting does drag the energy out of it. Luckily, my commute is not so far but it’s still can be a challenge. Thanks so much for the comment. Have a great night. 😃
@@valenciaflyer I had a similar situation. I was Logan based. I lived in Northern NJ at the time. I would make that drive when I had to. About 3:30. Sometimes the drive can get you into a good mood. Listening to music, etc. sometimes you even make it there before a 35 minute flight. (Weather, delays )
Love your personality! Nice trips and great behind the scenes content. Thanks for sharing I noticed you were barely on time on one of those flights..have you ever been late?
Hello there Dawn. Thank you so much for the kind words. I do enjoy making videos for everyone to enjoy. Thanks for watching. Luckily, I have never been late, nor have I ever missed a day of work. I have been lucky to make all my commuter flights so far. I hope to keep it that way. Lol. 😆
Gieselle! So happy you found me. How have you been? I hope the skies have been treating you well. Can’t believe that Lift is right around the corner! So much to talk about. I hope that we get to fly together someday. What base are you? Have an amazing and drama free summer. Talk soon. 😃
@@valenciaflyer Chris Rasberry told me you had a channel last time I saw him! I’ve been great just balancing life, work, and vlogging. You know how it goes. I’m still in Detroit, truly enjoying myself. Did you transfer to NY? I think I’ll vlog a bit at lift, haven’t decided but if I do I’ll have to get you in the video. What’s crazy is I’m dropping a vlog on Sunday about our base orientation and I have a couple clips of you and Chris in the video. 🫶🏽
@@gieselleandrea yes, that would be wonderful. We could totally do a Vlog together, Q&A thing. I am in Seattle and transferred here two months after Detroit. Things are going very well and I’m not very far away from home. Doing a lift episode is a great idea.
As I have applied for Alaska Airlines as a flight attendant, I'm curious what kind of shoe you went with, luggage, shaving equipment? And...what you've found to be the most surprising great thing about being a flight attendant for your airline, and the thing that you now know about that will keep you there for the long term. Prost!
Hey there, Mr. Rob. So I’m going to be doing an episode talking about packing, what I take with me, why I chose the things I did and also about my tech bag. So stay tuned for that. Talking about my airline, I believe that they do their very best to take care of us flight attendants. No company is ever perfect but I do believe that they try and make us as happy as possible. And that to me says a lot. My airline is usually in the top rankings of best airline to work for and I can see why. There are very good benefits and profit sharing that they give us. Plus other little perks from time to time. That plus more is why I will most likely never leave that airline. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and for your question. Have a great night.😊
It does get a bit tiring at times but the work is good and it’s nice to fly around and get to know new people, places and food! It’s all about the food! Lol.
Hi there. Great question. There are two main ways to solve this problem. Number one is to drive to work. In my case it would take about three hours to get from home to Seattle’s airport. I’ve had to do that several times when the plane I was trying to get on was full. And number two is to come in the day before and get a hotel and then wait for your trip to start. Both can be challenging and cost a little bit of money that comes out of my pocket. That is the reality of being a commuting flight attendant. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching and have a wonderful night.😄
Hi there! Love your videos. I have my F2F in a week. My concern is the pay!?!?! The minimum they say you will make.... can you make more than this in the first year or will i take this huge pay cut if i do this? Thank you!!
Hi Jennifer. Thanks for the comment and question. So it all depends. It depends on your airline, where you are based and how much you can work. But if you were with my airline and worked 120 hours a month I would say that you can make around $5k per month roughly. I know some FAs that make around $7500 per month within their first year but they are working a lot. You do make more the longer you stay with the company so that’s something to look forward to. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Have a good one. 😁
That is a very good question. With a very complicated answer. Ha ha. Maybe I’ll do a video on just that. But to answer you quickly, I sleep when I can. This job does do a number on your body at times. So, depending on the kind of person you are, it might affect you differently. I can manage with 4 to 6 hours of sleep of day when I’m working. 🥱

It is important to mention had you not got on that PDX flight in the beginning, you had at least one more back up flight to get to your base!
