This conversation highlights important issues and problems that people face these days when it comes to marital relationships. People fall in love and then fall out of love just because they recognize patterns or behaviors that they didn't deem important to notice at the outset of dating and meetings. We started with a brief introduction alluding to last episode that I did with her husband Dr. Yasir Aqeel on Sex life and Mental Health. We jumped into a difficult area that relates to emotions in life and specially with respect to falling in and out of love.
We discussed many factors and influences that make people consider they are in love while it's more of infatuation and immature stance towards responsible love. We discussed an importance aspect that's been prevalent in many cases, such as live-in relationships and testing compatibility before getting married. We highlighted the issues and problems with this approach and how it should be done in a productive manner.
We discussed at length about an important branch of life coaching, i.e. relationship coaching. There are multiple areas and avenues that people have to take care of when they get married and start a family together. Delving deeper into this aspect, we threw light upon the importance of language in communications and relationship. It's very important to recognize language patterns and create one's own message in conducive manner so that both the partners can have a fulfilling experience.
Abusive relationships and certain issues were discussed in detail that might help many affected families and individuals. We also had a discussion about how external factors and influences play role in making or braking of a relationship. Multiple aspects were brought into discussion that play significant role in relationships' development such as Independen within a union as well as secure and insecure inclinations towards each other. Few minutes were devoted to discussions upon being the right person in the relationship and keeping the partner accountable so that the other party doesn't get comfortable to explore more options out of marriage.
Self-love is a virtue that has positive impact on relationships, and it's been discussed as well. Learning from one's spouse, giving second chances after getting caught cheating are also few of highlighted areas in the podcast. Moreover, the conclusion consists of few important lessons and tips for upcoming couples and youth to make sure they derive the best value out of their present or future relationships. One more thing to discuss in future episodes please, how to deal a partner who doesn't talk much (introvert) , who doesn't share things or feelings properly, who doesn't understand your love language ,whereas you have explained everything to them? and they just want you to trust them when they say "i love you" but you can't feel it.
Maybe they can write stuff. If they are not speaking your love language are you speaking theirs?
What is making you not trust them?
What is bringing doubt?
Reflect on your own behaviour as well, from the moment you see them, what do you do? Is there a smile on your face or is there resentment in your body language?
I would like to appreciate entire team for pulling this off so nicely and decently, People who are married or about to get married must listen this, it will surely help them navigate better in relationship and understand their partners better.

Salaam, I recently discovered your podcast and I am loving the mixture of English and Urdu, a conversation so interesting and yet easy to understand! I’m Pakistani born I grew up in USA and I am currently going through divorce because it was an arrange marriage. As per towards the end of your conversation, which for myself I say the same thing I don’t want to get married but I don’t want to get involve with anything that’s against my religion. What are your thoughts on that specially because I have my previous marriage experience very traumatic.

This is what nobody can control :) this is what we need to understand. Things are under control and out of control so we have only the work upon the 'under control'
Then write down what evidence do you need to stay or leave?
Convey it to him and then if the behavior doesn't change, it will become easy for you to decide to move ahead with him or move on without him!

In my case that was totally arranged, was toxic relationship, all efforts to mend the relationship poured by me.. I suffered but tried tried again tried, got divorced after 4 years of toxicity..
