Just put mine on today. Coming from the Radiant GP shorty it is much tamer. When a neighbor pisses me off I’ll swap them out again. Longer rides, this is much more appreciated trust me.
@@gravellesimon i have not heard the go's in real life so its hard for me to compare. On the highway they have a good deep sound but are not overly loud . I wear a full face so that helps too. Cruising through neighborhoods they are not overly loud either at normal throttle. If you goose the throttle they will be pretty loud .
They sound awesome. I got York GP shorties on mine and they are stupid loud. Just ordered my Rampages this afternoon with baffles. Any popping on deceleration? Did you do a tune? Thanks.
There is very little popping on deceleration i really only notice slight pop when down shifting from 3rd to 2nd. I did not do a tune yet waiting to do intake and tune.
What does the bracket between the pipes bolt on to? I'm just wondering because I ordered a pair last week and was looking on the bike as to where that bracket would bolt to. So far I haven't seen anything. Can you run this setup by removing the stock exhaust mount or no? I too have the gp shorty's (with baffles) and let me tell you, loud is an understatement! Wanting to tame it down just a notch so I don't go deaf riding on the interstate. Sounds real good!!! From what I've seen, these should hopefully do the trick. Can't go wrong with anything from Dean Speed!
There is a mounting plate that comes with them that bolts up to where the stock mufflers mount. I really like the sound the sound level of these. They sound great and are not overly loud at highway speeds
Have you ordered them yet? I think there is still a 6 week wait . If you are going with the Rampage you will be very happy. I get a lot of compliments on them and I ride with another scout that had Reinhart and they always say mine sound better.
@@WarPaintCustom Not yet. I will likely be ordering the Pegs/Sliders this weekend. Spoke with the guys a DS this morning and it seems if just ordering those two things, it may ship a little quicker.Ordering a seat from Alex Leathercraft as well. The Bobber 20 is SUPPOSED to be deliver early June... fingers crossed.
WarPaint... i have Indian Stage 1's black on my Scout bobber 2020. i'm going to go chrome and don't like a loud bike. any ideas? Stage one's are a good volume but they're discontinued
I'm not sure of one to be honest. They are relatively easy to install the time consuming part really is getting the oem mufflers off. After that it's pretty easy.
Thanks. I'm pretty pleased with the sound. I went back and fourth with what I wanted to go. The price point on these and the reviews were very good. Definitely not disappointed and this is with the baffles still in.
@@ericw1261 yes they come with them installed. I left them in to see how I liked them. Thats one thing that pushed me to these was the price and you don't have to spend an extra $100 for the baffles. I'm still very happy with the sound with them in.
I guess Harley closed their doors for a while too then in the 80's ? I understand what you are saying but if we went by the most car companies today closed their doors when they get bought out by other brands.
Makes me feel kinda funny. Like when we used to climb the rope in gym class.
🤣🤣🤣🤣

They are louder than I thought with the baffles in. I'll run them like this for a while and see if I want them louder.
I have GP shorties are my bike now and they are too loud. These the better way to go?

I got the rampages and had Indian do my new intake box and tune later on. There is definitely a difference in performance and worth it in my opinion.

Nice! I have the same bike inbound from Indian (2022 though) and slip ones are high on the priority list, as are the crash pegs and sliders.

@@metalmotorcycles5732 nice. Hope they keep on schedule for you so you can get out there and enjoy it.
Nice sound👍🏽
I loved the way the Dean Speeds sounded on the scout for sure.

You are looking for something that is not as loud as the stage 1
@@WarPaintCustom Stage 1 are Ok but i wouldn't want it louder... thx for you response WP...its seems Dean Speed R's is the way to go with baffles?
@james28if I really liked the Dean Speeds they were not overly loud had a great sound.
We want more videos of this beatifull sound.
I'm trying to get a video together with a few other scouts to compare the sounds.
Where are the crash bars from
Dean Speed
Just bought my dean speed slip ons last week, do you know of any installation videos?

Love the sound. Planning on a set of these for my Scout. way too quiet in stock form.
They are very satisfying. For slip ons they sound great. The price is perfect and thw quality is excellent
that sounds great!
Thanks dude.
This bike is an will be awesome for ever.
Check out the videos of it getting painted
Is this with baffles or without baffles?
This is with.
Sounds damn good!

@@WarPaintCustom damn! Baffles in and sounds like that is great!
@@BigSmittyRiding yeah I was expecting to try it first with them and taking them out but these sound pretty good as is so I'm going to leave them in
Nice
Thanks
Quieter than the Crushers?
They have a good sound. Compared to the V&H slash

@@WarPaintCustom On their website they are an extra $40 - did you not have to buy them separately?
@@ericw1261 no I did not have to pay extra. I never saw the $40 option.

@@WarPaintCustom yeah it's not like Indians weren't made a few times between the 50s and the Polaris era, either. Boomers always boomin ;)
Yeah AMF made a decent bowling ball too, now they get their parts from china
