This video helped a lot, although I'm having trouble getting them to actually slip on. I might go out and buy a muffler expander tomorrow to loosen them up and clear the exhaust head.
For those that have installed these...I just picked these up and will be replacing some shorty slipons with the rampages. The shotgun Pipes I have are just way too loud. In the video you mention a spacer that you'll reuse after taking off the OEM pipes. I don't have that spacer on my bike as I don't have the original mufflers and my shorties don't use that connection so it is an empty hole on my bike. How important is this spacer. Will I need to visit a local Indian dealer to see about obtaining one?
I couldn't tell you how important that piece is for sure. Without it there I think there will be a large hole and nothing to mount the front part of your bracket to right?
Yes, I confirmed with Mykah Dean that without it the mounting plate sent with the pipes will not be flush with the bike's mounting bracket. Thanks for the reply!
G’day! Thanks for a great vid! I just put my rampages on a couple weeks ago, with baffles, and I love them! Awesome sound, and for me, it’s the perfect volume, not overly loud, but definitely has a good presence! Hey, what rear fender auxiliary lights are you running? And what sissy bar? …they look badass!!! Cheers mate!
Thanks! Yea it's a good sound. I still need to make a video on the rear light tuck kit. I shot the video but haven't put it all together yet. I'm using the Hemisphere Performance tail light tuck kit and Dean Speed sissy bar. Hemisphere also has a license plate tuck combo available but I just went with the light. www.hemisphereperformance.com/indian-scout-bobber/indian-scout-bobber-taillight-license-tuck-only-no-license You can customize the sissy bar at Dean Speed. I went with the 18" but almost wish I went a little higher. Thanks for watching!
Installed mine this past weekend using this video as a guide, super helpful - thank you so much for posting!!!
Cool. Glad it was helpful.

Glad the video helped. Mine was tight but I didn’t have as much trouble. I hope you get it worked out. 💪

I have the same bike!! Question. What third brake light is that one?
Thanks for the video! This installation and review as very helpful! What's that bag and tank/water bottle holder you're using?
Thanks. The bag is Biltwell Exfil 7 and the fuel bottle holder is from Nelson Rigg Trails End.
Sit on the bike the suspension will drop enough to get those old exhaust bolts out easy with another person.
Yea that’s what I did but had to do it solo so it took a little work. Thanks for watching.
@@timetomoto thanks for putting it up, I just wish I had found it before I installed mine.
I need dis....
