$300 RCX Exhaust Install on an Indian Scout Rogue

In this video we install a set of RCX slip-on exhaust onto the Indian Scout to replace the GP shortys. These mufflers are still very aggressive and let the bike sing its v-twin melody. These slip-ons are also 50% cheaper than the twin slash exhaust from Vance and Hines which look almost identical. #indianmotorcycle #indianscout #loudexhaust

I put the RCX on my Scout and they were way too loud. Couldn’t enjoy riding with them on so I had to take them back off.

My motorcycle too is painfully loud. Thought about getting something to reduce the sound. Not sure if you wear them already earplugs solved all my issues

I have a 2023 indian scout rogue and i was going to get the Vance and Hines but like you said they're $650 at my Indian dealership that's with labor and all. I'm not good at wrenching that's my issue.

How are you liking the exhaust after some time riding with it? Any droning with it at speeds?

I will say the droning is better with these but these exhausts are still very loud. I do like the tone better than the shortys.

I got them fixed two days ago they sound good but a little bit loud ! Is there any solution to keep the sound quieter ?

Yea they are still very loud, I don’t think you can quiet them down.

I tried to paint them but I never could get the results I was looking for. I just ended up removing the paint and leaving them this flat black.

The seat is great, no complaints on short rides but long rides are pretty tough on the passenger
