Toyota Honda Subaru and Volkswagen all have models with belts still. Chains last longer with good oil maintenance but also can do more damage if ever broken and unfortunately most people change oil as recommended near 8k to 12k miles..change oil every 5k to 7k and it'll improve the life span of chains.

Did you need to top dead center cylinder #1, or just make notes of where the cam sprockets were positioned?

You dont really need the lock tool kit. If your not confident & its your first time doing this job definitely need the tool

Lol 😂.. he forgot the timeing chain tensioner. Its moved with oil pressure at the bottom of the engine. 😂.. he didnt fix it
