If you want to react to a live version of them from the Polar Music Prize Concert You could chose to do "America" in front of Paul Simon instead. But that is your choice. All their music is good. Some of my favourites are "Stay Gold" (Official MV) "My Silver Lining", " Master Pretender" at The Graham Norton Show. "The Lions Roar" and "Wolf" were their first Big hits, I think. I think they are touring America now with their new show "Palomino" Try "Ready to Run" (Official Video) or "Wild Horses II (Live in London).
They are very talented songwriters- I have 4 of their albums. They also enjoy doing wonderful covers when performing Live - Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Simon & Garfunkel, Black Sabbath, ABBA, The Kinks, REM, Heart, The Rolling Stones....
They said themselves that it’s about the pure joy of singing together with someone you love 😊 It’s about the experience of having jumped into relationships with strangers that seemed sooo promising but it didn’t work so moving on to the next without patience. Now she’s in a relationship with someone where it’s not a storm of wild emotions but there’s warm love, joy and patience with others good and bad sides. So no fairytale but true love anyway (like Emmylou and Gram + June and Johnny) and always the joy of creating beautiful music together! I must confess to my shame that I'm not that familiar with First Aid Kit, even if they're of my nation. I do know they big, but have somehow gone under my radar. I am proud though that we have do many great musicians that are getting known abroad. You need to discover Tommy Johansson and Dirty Loops as well as Chris Kläfford. He got well known after his high level participation on AGT.
