  • I hear a lot of people wondering wether the exercises they are doing in vision therapy are right for strabismus or lazy eye. They wonder if they are wasting their money or if they should just be patient and trust the doctor.
In this series, I'm going to explore some of the fundamental exercises that every person with strabismus or lazy eye should do at some point in their therapy process. This is, of course, just my opinion and your doctor knows much better than me so listen to them! But if you see something that sparks your interest, it never hurts to bring it up at your next appointment.

This is great. Thanks so for these videos. Some can't really pay for in-office therapy. And some don't live in locations where these services are available cos some of us live in far away places like Africa (moi). But thank you for these videos they are motivating and enlightening

This may he helpful to someone..... I have been struggling with getting color to blend when using red/blue or red/green glasses. I've tried a lot of different colors but they are all so hard for me to tell when they are blended. The easiest has been really dark red/blue lenses while turning up the brightness on white screen but that still isn't great. Today I realized, if I take the blue lense out and just use one dark red lense while looking at white screen, I can easily see the pink color when blended. So simple but took me 2 years to see 😊

Sometimes I look at a red light but I have never done this one yet. My therapist has been doing this 30 years. I will ask if I can try this. Thanks

I have the Slotnick Swirl TH-cam playlist but have NO IDEA what to do, as I feel the instructions are not very clear. Do I just stare at the spinning circle for the entirety of the video? I greatly appreciate your feedback!

Can you provide a link where you bought the slot swirl? I'm Polish and can't find it. Thank you in advance.

I hated luster stuff, it always made my eye split color after wards. One would see everything in a super warm red tint in one eye and the other cool blue tint colors. This also happens with brock string too idk why. Doc says its nothing to worry about but that not much of an answer. I use two tubes like toilet paper rolls with red green film at the end put them agent my eye try to get luster then pull tubes out for divergence.

I've heard of the TP rolls, that another really cool way to work on luster. It's all about finding what works for you. Luster was magic for me...slow slow slow magic. haha

Hello! I was born with strabismus. I have amblyopia and that eye's vision is only 20/160. The doctor let me wear glasses, but my strabismus did not improve much. I'm from Vietnam, I just discovered your youtube channel and I want to improve the aesthetics of my eyes. With my condition, can I improve my strabismus? I'm 18 years old

Dear, I have had surgery and my doctor says everything is fine
But my eyes are a little bit away from being completely healed. The doctor says they will be completely healed after six months of training
What do you think of the benefits of training?

The vision therapy helps your brain use the eyes together in a coordinated way. When they are both being used, they will be more likely to stay straight or become more perfectly straight. The exercises can also help minimize the build up of scar tissue.
