    You can actually get the Torch still, Comer sells the design as the Comer Radiance 360. Not sure about the build quality/longevity but I just picked one up and it works great. Those MC Pros are really great, the Sidus app is a life saver.

      @@whoismatt I will say, based off the original MC... the Comers build quality is not amazing and 99% flimsy feeling plastic. I never got to own the OG Torch so I have no way to compare it haha. It does go on sale for $150 and comes with a big L-Series so it's not too bad of a deal.

      I actually have the Torch and the Comer and both lights are very similar. Now I use both for my weddings. My biggest problem with aperture is the app, everytime I want to turn on and off the light I will have to go to the app and connect and so on. This other two lights come with a very useful remote control.

    Cromer makes that torch light and sells it under a different name at B&H . I just bought it today for 119 on sale . Me and my wedding film making peers use it :)

    I was excited for this light as well but as an owner of the Torch 300 and the Comer Radiance version, the brightness was a big disappointment for me when looking at specs and reviews. Guess I’ll have to buy one to compare and see how it works for my use!

    We've designed an adaptor for the MC-Pro to be able to get used with the Rosco DOT diffusor in case you're interested in having a look at it.

    I love the red button. Is that the power button? That is a design element I’d like to see more of. So many designs make it so hard to find the buttons (especially in the dark). 👏 👏 👏

    The price is a bit steep though.

    Great video, well done ! Why is the Aputure MC pro so expensive though, it is only 5W. Would it be able to light up properly a subject at 5-7m distance ?

    I am looking for a good filler light to mount on my camera setup (gimbal, monopod, tripod, on camera to use handheld), having already 2 60X. I came across the Aputure MX, which is a small credit card sized bicolor light, which has great brightness considering its size, but it has very short battery life (about 30 minutes at full power, around 1.5 hr typical use), i was wondering if the Al-F7 was a better choice in my case.

    I am new to lighting and have just ordered the Amaran 150c and 300c. I am considering using the MC Pro as a hair light or fill light. Will it work well for creating a nice hair light?

      @@paulgero It is more comparable to the Core SWX TorchLED that he mentioned in the video in terms of remote control and color range but the M40 has the most flexible mounting system of the bunch for sure.

      @paulgero ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jpemile I think that the magnetic mounting options on the aputure pro give it the nod for mounting options imo. The m40 has that bracket arm with a 1/4-20.

    • @hasanrashid610
      @hasanrashid610 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@whoismatt Well this is all about the market. If you compare this product with Colbor CL60R RGB with the same price its just too expensive. The build quality the technology and versatile features in the colbor is on another level. I simply don't like to pay for something doesn't worth it. That's why if i compare to this product it's should be 65$ maybe 100 at max . I wrote in previous reply about Lume Cube Go RGB 89$ that has these features with LCD screen . We need new products to be better and cheaper as a customer. Im not reviewing this as a dealer or sell manager. Best wishes.
