Yes they are architectural plants & more beautiful if planted in container or big pots. Glad that you liked it.

What a beautiful flowering garden you have. You have some lucky neighbors to have the benefit of your creation. So beautiful to look at.

Thank you very much for the video, can you also tell me when is the best time to take leaf cuttings, where we grow them shade or sun?

Leaf cuttings can be done during summer to fall, but I prefer to use the root cuttings due to root cuttings have no failure rate and quicker to germinate as compared to leaf propagation..

Wow that’s amazing, I love this video! SHow long does the root propagation take to grow? And how often do you have to water the roots? I’m afraid of making my roots rott.

Normally should be around 1 month, you will have new growths & ready to be planted individually. You can water once a week depending where you live. But no worries due roots are not really susceptible to rot if u over water them. I live in Seattle & we have lots of rain so I don’t water that much. Enjoy the plant & very attractive if you plant in a big pot & that’s where I saw it in front of a Hotel.

It will be more beautiful if planted in a container or big pots like what I’ve seen infront of a hotel in downtown Seattle. Glad that you appreciate them too, thks.

Do you only use these in containers? I believe if they are planted in the ground it very very difficult to ever remove.

Ishhhh… I had it planted in my garden and I’ve recently dug it up and put it out front in a container.. I want it now to be an architectural feature at the front. When I got it a few years ago I placed it in a temporary location and two years later I saw new growth in that section.. so the roots do grow.. and the plant does like to spread but not like a weed overnight.. it takes its time..
I have now cut the root ball of my large one into two halves and put them in containers. :)

Oh and to add I live in the UK, so that might play a significant role in my minimal management of the plant

@@iddutube9316 This is really good information. I don’t care for plants that I can’t control especially as I have a small yard. As I live in California, I will plant them in containers. They are so attractive. Now I just can’t forget to water them😂

This plant is a thug. It is huge and spreads and is almost impossible to kill. Ot is the bane of my life.
