ES-En este video se mejora el metodo utilizado en el video anterior, para empezar es muy importante que la tubería no sufra ningún tipo de abolladura al doblarla, ya que esto puede repercutir en su funcionamiento. Al soldar la tubería en lugar de pegarla con pegamento térmico supone una mejor transferencia de calor. Se recomienda tomar medidas de seguridad para no quemaros, como usar guantes. Para evitar desperfectos se recomienda ir subiendo la temperatura gradualmente hasta encontrar el punto de fusión exacto de la pasta de estaño.

Tengo en mente una actualización mucho más bestia, el problema es que es bastante más compleja y voy a nececesitar invertir más dinero, tan solo voy a dar un adelanto, podras tener 2 ventiladores refrigerando la CPU sin quitar ningún componente.
El problema es que necesito tiempo para pensarla bien y llevarla a cabo, osea que probablemente tarde en subirla un poco.

Te sugiero poner (mica) entre los tubos de cobre y el cable del fan, así se refleja el calor hacia el tubo y no se quema el cable.
Lo mismo para los flexibles debajo de los tubos de cobre, le pones (mica) puedes usar una tijera para cortar la mica y pegarla con cinta eléctrica o cinta con resistencia térmica.
Eso lo hice en unos ventiladores que me encargaron posteriormente, pero si es una buen aporte, muchas gracias.
En el video no lo hice porque no contaba con ello y porque es un poco difiicil que el calor del tubo afecte al cable, pero si se llegara a calentar mucho sería posible, así que si tienes razón es recomendable el añadir un aislante térmico que separe el cable de la tubería de cobre.

I've been searching in the whole web for months and finally I have a possible solution thanks to you. yes in my country getting these materials is relatively easy, although at much higher prices, so I prefer to order it on aliexpress. In my case they usually do not take more than 1 month, but it all depends on where you live.

Yesterday I was thinking in something similar, but the thing is that my Toshiba has 3 pins to connect the fan and the newer fans now days has 4 pins, so that's a problem 'cause the fan would always go around 6000 rpm in case I get one from an MSI laptop of course. And I don't know what to do about it in case to make the purchase 'cause I'd need to modify everything inside the laptop and make sure it works with it. Also if I want to regulate the fan speed I'd like to make a little speed control with a potentiometer and that stuff.
I understand you, every laptop is deferent and its structure also is, but you really have a great idea and it's just really good. I'm sure you'd solve a big issue with that. I wish you a lot of success, buddy.

Es probable que ademas, necesites usar una mejor pasta térmica, con al menos 8W/m-k, para que el calor pase mas rápido al disipador y los tubos lo lleves hacia el radiador.
La pasta que uso es thermal grizlly, que es reconocida como una de las mejores, además ahora en estos momentos uso metal líquido, que tienes un video en canal donde lo aplico. Un saludo =)

Cuando comencé el procedimiento en mi l440 note que tanto la chapa superior y la inferior son de aluminio :( , ví que la chapa inferior de la tuya es aluminio también...le meto 400 grados con progresión y nada de agarrar la soldadura :(

The upgrade with thermal glue is very bad in comparision whit this, the problem here is that I have an I7 4980HQ so I continuous throttling, but i get better performance, also i'm working now in a new mod with double fan inside the T440P.

Have you modded the heatsink of the voltage regulators? I see something like additional heatsink?
These are a small heat sink of copper to dissipate the heat produced by the heatsink.

If you see the video you will discover that I have an I7 4980HQ so the temperatures have always been 93ºC which is the point of thermalthrottling, that is to say, applying this upgrade we have managed to avoid it, I explain it in the minute (11:34).

Good, in the first video thermal glue is used, which does not perform as well as welding. By soldering iron with tin we increase the contact surface and the heat transfer also improves. Also in the first video the pipe was very dented, a very dented pipe does not allow the flow of the liquid inside the pipe, so I did not want that video to be misinterpreted since in the video the pipe was a little dented. Hey, what would be he fps in gta v and rainbow six siege on some setings more fittied for this laptop? like medium or low? can you break the 60fps barrier? thats what i am curious about, another issue is the battery life, did it decrease? or did you create a special profile in the tyhrottle stop? i used a profile in windows [ower management + throttlestop (on i7 4810mq) where i use 27x in throttle stop + -100mv on battery plan, and then i even reduce it further by windows power plan which puts the cpu at 1.3ghz max when using indows on battery, perfectly fine for everything, really. Can you do that on the i7 4980mq?
The video have been recorded with low graphics settings, it can get more low, but I think it will look like a pixel game. Here the problem is the thermalthrottling, for example GTA V is a game which use GPU but also a lot of CPU, the problem is that I7 4980HQ get 91ºC, but i'm working now on it, I have a mod which will fix it, I only can say that 2 fans can be put in the laptop ;).
Yes, you can create a profile in throttlestop for save energy, I haven't created none because I usually Use the laptop with charger, so I want the maximum power, but yes, you can, if you see in left side, you have 4 buttons to change the profile (1performance,2game,3internet,4battery), So i think it have a predifined battery profile, you can use it, and modify to your personal usage. Also you can go to Power saver mode on windows and select your profile, or can create your own profile is easy, it will give you more battery 100% sure.
Also I'm thinking on buy a thing wich probably helps you, a screen wich suppose to save 41% of energy, the problem is that all these videos get a lot of my money, so i'm geting out of money, but maybe I will buy it, I don't know, but usually the part which get more battery are screens, so maybe it helps a lot of.
Yes I7 4980HQ is like another CPU, you can undervolt, or underclock, all things that you can do, I can.
@@TecnoGameYT Thats the thing tho. youre ultimately constrainedd by the power delivery of th board. it cannoit exceed 57 watts. with undervolting you can getfirstly less thermal throttling, better temps and better sustained clocks, secondly less POWER THROTTLING since you are ussing less power to achieve the same results (if your chip is good enough) and third of all better chip longevity :)
Yes, I know what you means, but if yo unlock the BIOS (I have uploaded a video how to do that) you can modify the watts which delivery, in my case my laptop is getting 65watts in the maximum performance, so yes, you can give more watts, about undervolt yes I know, also I have made a video about it, but the thing is, I'm making a double fan mod to get the CPU very well refrigerated, so if I get good temperatures maybe I can overclok it, and undervolt and overclock are the opposite things, you can't make overclok with undervolt.
About watts delivery, you have to have carreful, an user of reddit says that his T440P smoke his VRM about 90W or something like that, So I never will put more than 70W or in this laptop.
i disagree. never you can overclock in a situation where you have tdp limits without undervolting first oh all, this chip throttles a lot. and it has a looot of free performance were it given sufficient cooling. its like with Vega gpus. You can overclock a vega gpu by undervolting it due to the lowering of throttling by temperature. i can guarantee you you will get more out of this chip with - 60 mv then at stock voltage, because then you can draw 65 watts At lower voltage which means you can increase frequency

Si es el que estoy usando ahora mismo ya que cambie la placa base y tengo la gráfica Nvidia GT730M, pero en caso de que solo tengas el procesador es preferible esta mejora ya que hay una mayor superficie de contacto con el disipador de la CPU que en el ventilador de la gráfica Nvidia.
@@TecnoGameYT Tengo en plan comprar una T440p y hacerle todas las modificaciones disponible. He leido que recomiendan el modelo T440p que no tiene la grafica Nvidia y usar el heatsink del modelo con grafica Nvidia. Pienso usar un procesador i7 - 4710MQ.
Se supone que en principio mejora algo el rendimiento ya que disipara el calor un poco mejor, pero ten en cuenta que en el ventilador de la gráfica Nvidia el segundo tubo no esta en contacto con el disipador de la CPU por lo que pierde mucha transferencia de calor. De hecho los últimos pedidos que me hicieron de estos ventiladores me han dicho que estan muy contentos que han conseguido mas FPS por ejemplo en el CS:GO incluso subiendole los ajustes gráficos, que consiguen mejores temperaturas etc.
Pero claro si te vas a comprar un procesador I7-4700MQ yo ni me plantearía el cambiarle el ventilador, vas a tener temperaturas normales y además un ventilador para la gráfica Nvidia GT730M son dificiles de encontrar y caros, a mi el mio me ha costado casí 65 euros.

No hay espacio para agregar otro heat pipe siguiendo este video, en su momento intenté hacer un mod de doble ventilador que servia para la gráfica NVIDIA también, pero debido a los costes y tiempo, no llegue a terminarlo, pero en el servidor de discord hay fotos y explicaciones por si te interesa echarle un ojo.
Pero como te digo siguiendo este video no podras agregar otra heat pipe ya que apenas hay espacio.
@@TecnoGameYT Sensacional video amigo, esta teoria la tenia hace 3 años con un mod disipador pero no habia pensado en muchos detalles que hiciste como los clips de hierro/aluminio, y esta especie de torniquete con base de madera, donde adquiriste estos clips ¿Y esta herramienta de madera para sostener el tubo de calor en el proceso de soldadura?
Creo que la version definitiva de tu mod para no tener mas dudas seria la aplicacion de metal liquido, con aislamiento alrededor similar al chip de ps5, simule este aislamiento con poliestireno delgado junto con cinta aislante liquida, mis temperaturas bajaron en promedio alrededor de 15-20 grados, creo que con este mod tuyo aprovecharía al máximo la disipación de mi notebook con sus ventiladores estándar, así que para ti, solo necesitas el metal líquido, te garantizo que puedes obtener unos 10 grados menos. Si tiene curiosidad, póngase en c0n tá cto por c0 rre 0 electrónico desde mi c4 nal y le mostraré mi simulación de aislamiento de chip para metal líquido, como la ps5.

Hola, a cuantos grados alcanzaste como máximo después de la mejora?
Esa mejora la utilice para aumentar mi rendimiento ya que mi I7 4980HQ no estaba funcionando a su máxima potencia porque alcanzaba siempre 93ºC y comenzaba el estrangulamiento térmico, por lo que con esa mejora consegui sacarle más rendimiento aunque seguía llegandoa los 93ºC creo pero claro eso es debido a que le he sacado más potencia, si tú procesador suele estar a 90ºC ya esta usando su máxima potencia, ya que cuando comienza a reducirla es a partir de los 92ºC-93ºC por lo que al aplicar la mejora quizas bajes de 90ºC a 85ºC o nose realmente, de todas formas tengo una mejora entre manos aún más potente que consta de dos ventiadores y se puede usar tanto en disipadores con gráfica como sin gráfica.
TecnoGame claro estoy en eso tb. He pedido ya un heatsink igual para usar 2 uno para la gráfica y el otro para el procesador y en este ultimo incrementando 2 heatpipes.
@@antoniob9349 Si no te he entendido mal lo que pretendes es comprar el disipador doble de la gráfica dedicada y ¿añadirle dos tubos de calor más?, si es así lamento decirte que no podras agregarle ni si quiera uno, no hay espacio físico, a noser que hagas la mejora que yo estoy haciendo, ya que al agregarle otro ventilador caben más heat pipes, así que no tires el dinero.

Se puede soldar simplemente con estaño con colofornia y flux? o tiene que ser pasta de estaño? Gracias por el aporte. Buen video.
Lo mejor es la pasta de estaño, porque yo en su momento probe con estaño y cautin y no se puede porque las tuberias hacen su función y disipan el calor muy rápido por lo que si, quizas el estaño de fuera puedas soldarlo un poco, pero el que esta por debajo de la tubería que es el que te interesa, no se suelda, así que realmente la única opción es pasta de estaño y de bajo punto de fusión(siempre dejo los enlaces de compra en la descripción).
La pasta de estaño también suele llevar flux mezclado, así que realmente no necesitas aplicarlo, simplemente aplicas la pasta de estaño de bajo punto de fusión, y calientas hasta que consigas una buena soldadura, realmente es un poco complicado todo este tema, así que si prefieres algo más fácil, pero obviamente con peor rendimiento, tienes otro video en el que uso pegamento térmico.

Realmente si que se puede soldar bien con estaño , hay que usar un mini soplete , los de cocina van muy bien, se estañan las dos partes por separado entonces luego es muy facil unirlas , a nada que funda el estaño y están unidas,
Solo tienes que ver los fontaneros como sueldan la tuberia de cobre sería imposible con soldador

Si, de hecho ahora mismo yo estoy trabajando en un mod de doble ventilador utilizando un ventilador que tiene disipador para gráfica Nvidia. En discord voy publicando avances y imagenes, el enlace al grupo de Discord esta en la descripción de todos los videos, o en el banner del canal.

@@epictrolloleante Efectivamente, yo ahora mismo no estoy usando más del 30% de mi procesador porque hace thermalthrottling super rápido, así que espero que la mejora del doble ventilador funcione correctamente.

Your errors:
In first place you take flux, the flux is a liquid or solid material wich help you with the soldering process, cleaning the copper surface and makingt it easiest so,you only use it? You need tin to solder it and not a normal tin, you need a low melting point tin paste, because when you sart heating it, the heat pipes will start to work and will disipatet he heat, so the tin need to be low melting point to solder it fast before the heat pipe explode or you desolder other pieces, eveni f, this is difficult, if you prefer, you have another video using thermal glue wich is very very easy, obviusly worst results, but more easiest.
And remember All products i use in videos are in the DESCRIPTION BOX OF VIDEOS.

Not possible, the fan have a cable which is welded to the metal of the fan to make ground (earth).

No se te ocurrió usar la pistola de calor y que este lo mas "caliente posible" el heatpipe para darle la misma forma que el otro ?
Si se me ocurrio, el problema es que la tubería en si no es que sea dificil de doblar, sino que hay que evitar que se bolle, pero si la calientas, no tendras posibilidad de tocarla ni con guantes, así que si quieres probarlo hazlo bajo tú responsabilidad, ya te aviso que yo me he quemado las manos más de una vez.

@@TecnoGameYT tenes que agarrarla con una pinza y vas doblandola muy lentamente ! y en lugar de doblarla con algo plastico, lo doblas con algun caño o zona curva lentamente y comparando con la otra !

@@nicolasserbin4526 En lugar de eso eso estoy investigando porque existen herramientas para doblar tuberias, pero quiero encontrar alguna que sirva para doblar tuberías planas como estas, la herramienta sería algo como esto-->herramientasdetalleres.com/imagenes/doblador-de-tubos-vista2.jpg, pero esa es para tubos redondos.

Lo del ventilador extra ya lo he hecho, simplemente no lo publique porque es más complejo de lo que parece y necesita invertir bastante dinero.
