I've got over 2,200 hour's invested in this game and "ALL" of it has been envolved in the timber industry meaning nothing but Logging and Chip's and a couple of fields of poplar. Though I've viewed about every video in regards to FS22 and the various way's others do timber. I can't figure out the purpose of accumulating all the various tree's, putting them in orderly stack's. I do the same to a point, but then it's only to gather sufficent enough to make money selling, which I then utilized to purchase more equipment, more field's. As the industry does in real life, I replace aka planat two for every one I harvest. Though your name doesn't state you are FDR, you handle the joy stick's as well as he does. Using only a controller, I'm nearly as good, but then I've got some 2,200 hour's using a controller. Being retired full time, afford's me a significant amount of time every day to play. And with the excepttion of playing on one of three maps, play all day every day. THIS GAME IS GREAT!!!
Hello! I have to admit I am using Thrustmaster 16000m Duos aswell but you already mastered them. My question is how do you have such control on the processor if I try to correnct the direction of the tree is just not working. It is working only on FDR machines but I don't really like them so if you can give some advice it will be much appreciated :)
It's because i use the mod ''Wood Harvester Controls'' It gives you more manual control over the processor heads, such as tilting, rotating, and rollers, etc. Try check it out if you haven't already! 😁

Thanks, 'Too smooth' was a new one for me, but I'll take the compliment, haha. 😄 And yes, I use Dual Thrustmaster T.16000M joysticks. With the WHC mod, it becomes possible to guide the tree more carefully, although it's not perfect either, but it sure helps. 😄
How do you process and pile woods like that? Ever time I try the logs just slowly turn and makes a huge mess even piling up the fallen trees to make it easier

I haven't changed anything, no. I guess smoothness with dual joysticks and a lot of practice help me out. Also, the grapple on the Volvo is really good, sometimes it even feels like a magnet. 😅
Hello, it's me again, I've always wanted to play Fs22 but I don't have a PC that runs it, but I play Fs 23 on my cell phone even though it runs a little slow but I can have a good experience.
Depends on the amount of time you want to spend. 😄 Those smaller logs can be a hassle to load up and transport, and they also tend to ruin bigger piles. That's why I went ahead and made them into woodchips instead. However, delivering them to a production chain would definitely grant you more money in the end. 😁
That's an impressive amount of work! What lengths did you cut the trees to? I'm thinking of doing an edit to Holmakra with FDR physics and tree weights. Would be immense!
I cut them into 12 and 5-meter logs. 😁 I wonder if it would be possible to just change the weight on his machines, but then again that would prob take a lot of changes to springs and dampers etc.
hi, you have such good control while processing the trees😳 i have a question, when i try to proces the trees like you do i can control the machines very good, but i struggle with trees having their own life, when i lay them together they Just start moving around and flying and stuff, but not always. when i have them eventually in my harvester and try to cut them and lay them on piles like you do, the harvester starts spinning after my first log is cut. this is very frustrating because i can't lay the logs parallel ... it Just becomes a mess. do you have any Idea why it's start spinning when i cut them? thaks in advance man love your work😊
Thank you very much! 😄 I do play with the mod 'Wood Harvester Controls.' It adds some extra options for the processors, such as rotation on the header while cutting. Every now and then, I also encounter trees acting strangely. I figure it's just part of the logging experience, hehe. With that being said, if or when it happens, you can try to save it by using your pile as a counterweight and push the tree up against it to line it up with the pile again. Of course, this is easier to do the larger the existing log pile is. Also, try to avoid uneven terrain when you process trees, it will cause the trees to shift out of control more often than on flat ground. Hope it makes sense.😁☺️
@@Bambis_GamerHut yeah i use the same mod and i have been playing around with the rotater force and rotator treshhold to see if i can fix it, but it kept happening. but using something as a counterweight was also something i tried and it worked...but as soon as the tree is too short or just releases from it's counterweight the whole rotator spins around like crazy since it could not rotate when it wanted to if that makes sense😅. but thanks for your suggestions, ig i Just have to live with it haha.
I usually have it set to the ''physical'' setting and then I do my best to only make small rotation changes once I start processing, otherwise the header will act out once it has the power to rotate the weight of the tree. 😄 So basically I just tap the trigger button shortly to avoid overdoing it.
@@Bambis_GamerHut ye i figured that one out too, it's always the same story when it wants to turn so i calculated how many ticks i have to give my controller joystick in advance so it theorethical rotates to the other side but it can't due to the weight of the tree that it's holding and when it's able to turn by itselves it just keeps straight 😅😅.
