I really Like Your Videos. I was Born and Raised a JW Stayed in for 48 Years. When I Left I was the Congregation Secretary and very Well Known in Our Circuit. Shock to All except Me.
After 22 years of abuse (physical, emotional, spiritual, social), I left him, twice. He ruined the 3 kids. He still looked so innocent and spiritual in the congregation, but I was telling everybody what he was really like. 3 years later, I got a no-fault divorce. We met with the elders and my ex-refused to admit to punching me in the face in front of the kids, on the way to a meeting (4 years previously). He said to the elders he wanted to talk about reconciliation. I burst out laughing. Then I talked for over an hour, showing the elders all the information in the books and magazines about abuse. They commended me for doing my research. The elders just gave him a slap on the wrist; no discipline. I was told to be faithful to Jehovah and my marriage vows. 8 years later I was fed up with being single, so I had a 4 month fling with a guy. I wrote to my ex and said he had grounds for divorce. He didn't believe me at first, so I wrote him a strong letter that I had had the best sex EVER with this guy. So there. My ex was a control freak, abusive, evil and violent. I had to get therapy for a couple of years. But he got parts on the assembly program. He still blames me to this day (divorced in 2006) that I made him angry. BUT: I learned 2 languages for him, moved to where the need was great twice (China for 3 years), and never got any commendation. It makes me sick to see the bragging people do about their stupid privileges. My married life was about obeying him, preaching nonstop, and never having fun.
Thank you so much for sharing that. I really hope people see this! It just goes to show the abuse that goes in in the JWs that the elders have full knowledge of and don’t do anything about. It’s sad to think how many other women are in that exact same position. It’s also sad that your kids were impacted by all of that. I’m happy you made it out of that marriage and the cult!
This is a great video! The game-changer for me....MARRIED ELDERS AND MINISTERIAL SERVANTS who were BEYOND inappropriate with women outside AND inside the org. It was disgusting to be told, "Well, Jehovah appointed them so Jehovah sees something in them." I couldn't do it! So, THIS is God's chosen religion?!
I recognize I am in a toxic marriage with a narcissistic wife. I feel so isolated, suffering, living as room mates. Looking for like minded brothers and sister for support
I’m a closeted 19 year old current JW (female & pimo) who was baptized at 12. I thought that age gaps were a thing that was just weirdly concentrated in my congregation and area, but now that I think about the culture of power dynamics in the faith, it makes sense that it is a widespread problem. I specifically remember this memory of when I went over to my friends house and during dinner I remember her father was essentially saying things like “you know there are a lot of brothers I know who want to get married…” and he had a whole conversation with me about this. Mind you… _I was 13._ It’s one of those things where at the time I just laughed it off, but in hindsight you look back at it and you realize how creepy the whole thing was. Just a very weird organization in general.
Sadly creepy experiences like that are the norm in the JWs. So glad you woke up before getting married off to some creep. Good luck on your exit! It’s a hard experience but luckily you are still young.
My JW friend met a sister at the district convention, and less than one month from the first date were married. In a few years they got a unscriptural divorce. He told me he would treat me if I had sex with his ex-wife. A different friend was seeing a sister for over a year (still no engagement yet). She went to a elder and said this brother was leading her on. Another friend inquired with the sister’s congregation elders to determine whether he should date this woman. He told me (later), that the elders lied to him about her character, to make her appear much better. He married her, and quickly noticed this was a mistake. He got divorced some years later, and used adultrey for the reason. A elder I knew, told me he got divorced, because his wife attempted to murder him. The watchtower says this is not grounds for divorce, so they would not be allowed to re-marry, unless they could prove their ex had sex.
So much gold in one comment! What a crazy cult! What they are calling “love” is something entirely different. Imagine being stuck in a marriage with someone who tried to kill you. I’d just take the disfellowshipping!
@@exjwdiaries I would take the disfellowship in a heart beat! That is totally insane! Murder! What is so insidious to me is that the governing body present things in a way that if you are in, is completely totalitarian but the second something horrific happens like murder or sexual assault they throw their hands up and blame the followers for coming to the "conclusion" that they had no choice but the stay in and take the abuse. It's really sick.
I was a witness at one time and it was a complete nightmare and how women were looked on it’s one of the many reasons I never raised children in this organization especially if I had a daughter. These kids don’t have normal, healthy, upbringings to much isolation from the real world I could go on and on and the adults were no better everything that you said was the complete truth about this toxic organization it’s far from a loving one that they talk about.
@@exjwdiaries Yes I nearly became engaged to another member he was so weak- minded and so indoctrinated, who couldn’t think for himself let alone a child. I wanted a husband who needed to be strong and think for himself and help our children be to strong, independent, individuals and to think for themselves including our daughter. It was ridiculous to see children being robbed of so many opportunities and whatever potential that they had to do things that they wanted or loved no recreational activities, no hobbies, no volunteer work or anything else it really was a sad 😞 way to live.
@@marwatson7408 Well said...As a Born-in JW/Disassociate... I'm Glad my Two Daughters was not raise in the JW culture... today they're strong minded successful loving adults 😊
I have daughters and refuse to raise them with the JWs 1950s rules and mindset. I was a raised and baptized JW, but my independent spirit would not allow me to submit to a man - a quality that would often get me labeled as a "bad sister."
The so-called happiest "people" in the world do not exist. This peace is artificial because this peace is conditioned only on worship. In the intimacy of families, this happiness does not exist. It is only found in kingdom halls where all JWs observe each other.
The Watchtower society conditions men to be heads of families like 2000 years ago and conditions women to be subject to heads of families like 2000 years ago. Who today would like to live like 2000 years ago????
@@laymanphil8513 And to think The WT ORG (Cult) and the GB'S (8 Dude's in NY) got it all figured out... from looking at their Illustrations of what Paradise should be ... Funny tho Everyone looked Happy !!! 🤔🤨🤣
As a non witness. Recently divorced from a 20 year marriage with a 3rd generation pomi (not sure if she was disfellowshiped or left, very touchy subject with her) when we met. Now half pimi. This video hits home with me. The amount of pressure put on me to marry quickly and foolishly was insane. Not only my ex, her mother, father, and siblings were all there to push. I have never seen such love bombing in my life. As eerie as it felt, I was not strong enough to resist. Thanks for creating this content. This apostate appreciates your work very much. God bless you.
Man how true this is. I was born into JW and everything is spot on. I left the organization when I was 17yo never got baptized. Mainly as I got older I started questioning their dating game. I had a couple of sisters tell me that even though the date was good and we had a lot in common they couldn't see me again cause I might stumble them or draw them away from the organization because my goals were worldly and not spiritual. How is furthering your education wrong? And what financial benefits come with going to bethel? Right so I had that back room talk got reproved and told the congregation that I was no longer an unbaptized publisher and my value as a man in their eyes decreased. That's when I fully committed to my decision to leave. My apologies for being long winded but out of all the videos and interviews you've done in the past this one struck a serious nerve. The truth hurts so keep doing what you are doing brother, it takes a lot of courage to speak out against the organization and you have my full support.
The Watchtower drastically reduces the opportunities that real life can give us. The closer you get to the Watchtower, the fewer opportunities in life will become. The life of young JWs becomes more and more tasteless like a black and white life with a lot of grays.
Another great video. I was one of those young sisters who was "dating" an older brother. Although 5 years age gap didn't seem like a huge difference, I was 16 and he was 21. No one did / said anything about it bc he was a servant and came from a good witness family. Thankfully, nothing ever happened btw us and once the pressure was on to get married (I was 18 at the time), I made a run for it. Best decision I ever made.
Thank you! This is exactly what I was talking about. Even though 5 years isn’t much, a 21 year old man, old enough to walk into a bar and buy whatever drink we wants, shouldn’t be secretly dating a girl who is just barely old enough to drive and who probably has a year or 2 of High school left… Unfortunately it’s normalized in that cult which is pretty scary. Glad you got out of there!
To add insult to injury, after the break up, I was the "bad witness" for breaking it off and he was the poor brother. It is always the woman's fault in this religion.
I can absolutely attest to the abuse that is sanctioned by this organization! My stepfather was an extremely violent man who would fly into a rage without any provocation at any given time. My mom would go to the elders crying and beg them for help with him. So, after the meeting, I’d sit outside the library while they’d talk. Without fail and for years, these elders would make it out to be her fault that he was so violent with me. They would refer to Watchtower publications that talk about harmonious marriages, having respect & obeying your husband, and most importantly…not to “spare the rod and spoil the child”. The last time she went into a meeting with them was shortly after a beating caused me to have a seizure. They told her bluntly and crudely that if she didn’t want her husband to beat her daughter, then she needed to start spending more time on her back regardless of whether she wanted to have sex or not. And that she should be happy that he wasn’t leaving marks on her for not giving her marriage dues the way she’s supposed to. Afterwards, the elders would have me come into the library, starting at age 5, (and alone with 3 old men), and tell me that I’d “better hope and pray that Armageddon didn’t come tonight because Jehovah was most certainly going to kill me for causing so much trouble with my parents! There’s no room for disobedient children in Jehovah’s New Order”! After that last disgusting meeting with the elders, my mom stopped attending meetings and refused to meet with the elders again. For some background, my mom had 2 young babies at the time besides myself to take care of. They were quite sickly a lot of the time and the youngest baby was still breastfeeding. So needless to say, my mom was exhausted and therefore sometimes she’d say no to intimacy. That’s apparently unacceptable and also a reason to abuse the stepchild. In all those years, not once did they tell him at the very least, to take it easy or show some compassion or restraint. In the last years of his life, he came to me and begged me for forgiveness. He had been an undiagnosed bipolar all those years and not that it’s an excuse, but it’s part of why he was so out of control. He resented the elders for their years of terrible advice, making him think that his behavior was normal, and for discouraging them when they talked about getting counseling from a professional for fear it’d “bring reproach on Jehovah”. On another note, beatings of the kids at the Kingdom Hall were just a regular part of the meetings. There would be a line of fathers and crying children waiting outside the furnace room downstairs. One of the elders actually made a big wooden paddle, with holes for that extra sting, that was kept in the furnace room for all those unruly kids that weren’t paying attention during the meeting. The furnace room was used because the noise of the furnace would muffle the screams. It was encouraged, from the platform, that if you had to discipline your child during the meeting that you would reinforce that discipline when you got home as well. And that pretty much sums up my childhood. I’m just thankful that my own children, all adults now, have never set foot inside a Kingdom Hall! But sadly both my stepdad and my mom only had a few years of being completely awake from the JW cult. They both died with tremendous guilt and totally regretted ever being part of this organization. Thanks for your videos! You brought up so many excellent points!
Wow! I thank you so much for sharing this! Unfortunately, your story aligns with so many people out there who are silenced and can’t speak up. Especially women and kids. The part about the undiagnosed mental illness also really aligns with so many people out there. I really can’t thank you enough for taking the time to share this. I’m glad you made it through all of that. That’s no way for a kid to grow up.
Your story made me cry. I’m so sorry for all you suffered. 😢💔 There’s no excuse for the kinds abuse allowed within the witnesses. For all the ‘love’ they preach, they really have no idea. I’m out now, after 40+ yrs. My life is so much more peaceful.
@@choosewisely616 Thank you for your kindness 🥰 It’s my hope that someone who is studying and considering joining will read some of the things that I’ve experienced, as well as sooo many others have, and think twice about it. Maybe possibly see beyond the love bombing and empty words & promises. I’m so glad to hear that you also got out long ago! It’s awesome that you’ve been able to enjoy your life! That’s a great success story and proves them to be the liars they are! I was never able to make sense of anything we were taught throughout my childhood, so I never got baptized or “made the “truth” my own”. Thank goodness!!! But even so, the damage this religion did to my entire family was just beyond description. I escaped from it all when I was 17 and moved out of my house 2 days after I graduated high school (way back in ‘89🦕). I spent another 25 years arguing with my mom & grandmother trying to wake them up. My grandmother woke up enough to accept a blood transfusion when she needed it and she stopped attending meetings, but she still thought most of it was the truth. My mom & stepdad finally got to the point where they realized it was all lies. But unfortunately, the damage was done. My youngest sister is the last person in my family still in the org. She’s married to a circuit overseer, so it’s next to impossible to talk to her about the witnesses. I still hold out hope for her! That’s why I’m still trying to keep up with this crazy organization! Sorry for rambling! LOL 😂 Again I thank you for your kind words! Keep enjoying your life and best wishes! 🥰
Meditating on scripture..inspired of God is beneficial. Rev 16:13&14 says they are inspired..but not by God.. Those words form directives or instructions guiding his people to survival and success. We possibly have wrong expectations like the jews who failed to recognise the Messiah..but examining scripture closely we can get back on track and experience the happiness from doing so..understanding how the strange things that we see, fulfills prophecy . See rev 1:1-3 Ergo, if we aren't happy ( seeing prophecy being fulfilled )our interpretation is in error.
This was a wonderful video and you hit all the important points. I am so grateful that I never got married in this cult. I never understood why the organization didn’t create a JW approved dating events or a dating sites to assist in meeting people and to have classes to teach appropriate behavior that’s not only benefiting the men. It’s because they don’t care about the rank and file especially the women.
You and me both! If I had gotten married I would probably be an elder right now. Such a scary thought! Yeah I never understood why there was no official JW dating site.
Justin. That was one of your BEST PROFOUND AND ACCURATE VIDEO I EVER HEARD..!!!!! I was a JW FOR OVER 50 YEARS & I SAW EVERYTHING YOU MENTIONED FIRST HAND. The culture of Jehovah's Witnesses is very much a twisted sinister cruel way of showing love. Like ALWAYS WATCHTOWER COMES UP WITH THEIR OWN DEFINITION OF WHAT SOMETHING SHOULD BE TO SUPPORT THEIR DOCTRINE AND CONTINUE THEIR CONTROL & MANIPULATION OF THEIR MEMBERS. Excellent Excellent video.
Thank you Tammy! They way they show love is exactly what you said. Twisted and manipulative. Even more sad is they teach JWs from a young age to treat others in this conditional way.
@@exjwdiaries You are definitely doing a great job making great sense of the mental cruelty that this destructive cult is inflicting on its members. This type of psychological warfare is very sinister & evil. The members themselves in turn have been mislead to believe, think, and act like just like a sociopath and psychopath. Because the governing body THEMSELVES are just like that.
You are speaking the truth. This was my experience. Going out in groups, turns into a brother taking interest in a sister. Starts dating, common interests, the Org🤔
What you've said is so true, I grew up with a mother and father who have never held hands or told each other they love one another. My father was my grandfather's "worldly" Bible study convert who was doing so only to get with his daughter my mother. In fact my dad and his brother were trying to get my mom's attention, as soon as my father showed himself to be the winner my uncle stopped studying. My father is the most verbally and physically abusive man I've ever known!! If you speak against the JW organization he will physically fight you as if you've spoken against his favorite football team it doesn't matter if it's his son or daughter, he is a total mammal...
Great video. I can attest to the fact that much older men in the congregation were looking at me as young as 14 to see if I could be a potential wife later. The pickings are very small for JW marriages.
Love your videos. Your perspectives are right in point, thank you! You're helping me to realize more and more that my desire to exit is appropriate! 🎱(PIMO, born-in Elder's wife😩)
Thank you! I hope your exit is as smooth as possible! I’m sure it can’t be easy being an elders wife as well. That’s definitely extra pressure. If you ever need to talk, my email is at the end.
Oh boy!! This was, in so many ways, my story!! I was contacted by the witnesses at the same time as i'd started going out with a girl on the 'rebound' from a breakup with a truly wonderful girl.... my stupid fault! My 'new' girl and I started studying but after a few months she stopped her study and hardly ever came to the Kingdom Hall. Then, not at all, and by this time we were married - pressured to marry - and eventually she filed for divorce. So, I'm about 30 and an enforced celebate (with a guilt trip about wa***ng) with no prospects of a 'happy ending'. One time when I was visiting family and I went to the local KIngdom Hall, I chatted with a single sister. UH-OHHH! I was soon 'wartned off' - never went back!! After 3 or 4 years I went to my ex's flat and (very tactfully) asked her if she had a boyfriend and if they'd done 'the wild thing'! She had; WHOOOP - DEE - DOO!! To cut along story short I did find my dream girl, married her, woke up and now nearly 40 years later I hate myself for the two worse things I ever did - marry my first wife and get involved with the JWs.... Great work, Justin. Thank you.
Wow thanks for sharing that story! Crazy what positions people get stuck in due to this organization. Glad you were able to escape and marry your dream girl! Win-win!
Justin 👋🏾 thank-you for blessing us with a new video. I'm officially OUT. I had my son's birthday party and boy, they came out the woodwork. They offered me "shepherding visit" Why you talking about Marques Houston 😂😂 sad but everything you said is 💯 true. Oh and I'm in Seattle too. You looks so familiar I'm sure we probably ran into each other at Puyallup or Tacoma convention.
Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you! This is just the beginning! That's funny I had a part about him originally but I didn't want the video getting too long. That story about him and that girl that JUST turned 18 was crazy...
Thank you very much for your accurate & thorough co coverage on what goes on with JW court ships & marriages. I have seen this & experienced the sad results in my own family.
Yea I remember in my congregation, there was a 22 year old MS "only child" who started one day randomly hanging out and going out in service with a 15 year old sister. she was also in a only child family. The two families were always seen together at gatherings or restaurants, conventions, etc. Nothing became of it, but it was definitely awkward because there was like this unspoken grooming going on, but no one really said anything. They had one of those " sort-of-dating-but-not really" relationships going on, and it was supervised by the parents. Still, so weird looking back on it. Ofc I was fully indoctrinated so I didn't think anything of it, but it did raise red flags in my intuition even then.
Sadly the JW mental health problems are clearly misdiagnosed which is dangerous. I personally know all too well. They just used to tell me to pray or go out in service more.
In an Organization like that...I might as well be a eunuch if I wish to stay out of trouble...and then they start speculating about your habits and / or sexual orientation. Best that I just stay away from them.
I recall several years ago, thinking that a brother in the hall had a shared interest, but then he said he wanted to wait until after Armageddon to marry so that he could get a perfect wife. Needless to say he ended up dying a lonely elder in that congregation long after I'd married an UNBELIEVER.
The lady we studied with forgot a head covering and was freaking out about it, like she might be struck down or something! I said, it's ok, I'll grab a scarf that you can cover your head with.
Where do I even start! Everything that you talked about I have seen with my own two eyes or experienced it first hand. When it comes to the abuse I personally saw a sister go through absolute hell. She was married to a prominent elder who was very well liked. He was sleeping around on her with other sisters. It was awful to watch her go through that. I have friends that are married to people who suffer from severe mental health issues. One of whom I like to call the undercover "SISTER SLAVE AUCTIONEER." This couple from my congregation invited people over for a get together. I show up and quickly find that there are over 30 sisters there that look a lot like me. It is pointed out to me that the 2 white brothers (who are the ONLY brothers at this get together) are "single and looking." and wait for it.... they "prefer" black sisters. This couple thought it was a good idea to invite 2 white men over to have their pick out of a group of black sisters! I watched beautiful black women fall all over these brothers and vie for their attention by pulling out party tricks, one upping each other... it was gross! Disgusted, I calmly grabbed 4 to go plates and 2 WHOLE bottles of wine as recompense for wasting my time. Just as I was about to walk out one of the brothers introduces himself and asks, "Why I are you leaving so soon? I was hoping to get to know you a bit." (Insert face of pure irritation) I simply say to him, "Brother, I promise you there is nothing you are going to say that I am going to find remotely interesting. There are 30 other mindless eligible sisters here that you can regale with your simple tales." Then I walked out. Fast forward 3 months later... my parents throw a surprise engagement party for one of my close friends I grew up with in the congregation. She and her new fiancé were coming to their house. No one had ever met the brother so everyone was excited including me! Guess who her fiancé was? It was the SAME BROTHER that tried to get me to stay at the SISTER SLAVE AUCTION PARTY! He immediately recognized me and avoids me the entire night! Turns out this guy has serious mental health issues and has very unhealthy views regarding women. This comes out AFTER they get married of course. That's just the tip of the iceberg of the level 10 crazy I have experienced and saw being a witness. I say all of this to express how spot on you are with this video. Keep spreading the word!
That might take the prize for one of the craziest JW matchmaking stories I’ve heard! Really just shows the toxic male dominance in the organization. Also shows some of the racial ignorance that is often downplayed. In the real world that kind of “get together” would get called out in an instant!
@@exjwdiaries Right! I still can't believe that happened. The toxic male energy and racial insensitivity is willful at this point. The Governing Body completely ignores the major and microaggressions women and people of color experience on a daily basis. No way in creation that party happens in the real world without going viral.
@@exjwdiaries I know, eh. One of my kids wrote a letter to the elders in one congregation, telling them firmly that they are apostates and pharisees. haha. It really shook up one elder.
You know what I'd really love to know and would make a great video? Who is in charge of the Watchtower's finances, does an individual or individual's profit off of the organization's vast wealth?
My grandparents are JWs. , I am not but I would go in April to the event and for some reason I didn’t bring something to wear so I bought a black and white sun dress from Target. My dress was short my cleavage was out and I didn’t even think of it like it at the time I was just happy I found a dress and thought it was good enough without trying it on but looking back I did get a lot of stares and no one sat next to us. They new I wasn’t a JW so you know they were thinking bad thoughts … oops
For a moment I forgot it's a channel about JW and thought you are talking about narcissistic personality disorder. And this is who they in most cases are...power hungry, manipulative narcissists-usually men.And a lot of women are codependent, emotionaly neglected(usually by parents who teach exclusive obedience as well as what is a true role of woman in organisation, therefore no emotional needs met)which is disorder, too.Match made in hell.
They seriously exhibit narcissistic behavior throughout the organization. It seemed like every witness had either very low confidence or incredibly high arrogance with not much in between. Very toxic culture. That’s why counseling is so important after leaving.
Why do jw women continue to put up with the degradation? The lack of respect from the men for their "mate" is disgusting. Married 49 years, my hubby knows that bs won't fly with me! We have mutual respect. ❤✌️
Honestly when it comes to my mother she said she had a good time in the Kingdom Hall and all of that and she used to date a couple of guys and what not but that was back in the 90s and seventies and eighties most Jehovah's witnesses now is like kind of toxic it's got a letter right now
Yr speaking the whole, sorry, sordid troof!! Re: Dom abuse. Knocking wife onto glass coffee table, shatters it! While few months pregnant!?? Told by eldership, stay with him!!??? A ministerial servant. "Talkin' 'bout lo-ee-ove" ...
Now I know where you get your beautifully concise yet articulate way of speaking. Your family must have a culturally substantive heritage. Your talents need to be put out there for all to enjoy. Talking of divorce, the JW divorce rate in South Africa is probably higher than non Jws due to all those reasons you covered. It's a total sham.
I can identify with the account of the sister that had issues who was living with her grandmother.. Assistance is not given in such cases. It does not follow the compassion of the Christ ..that perfect example is not applied. Another Of Christ is : Rev 19:15 She made herself of the nations getting disfellowshipped ..and the result is it has created PUBLICITY. cases like these fatten the file which is taken to the kings. (Rev 16:13&14.)
I cant believe how many of my boxes you just checked off. I really really should have known better cuz I was not a born in. I recommend only born ins should marry other born ins of similar age.
So I realized this is a good breeding ground for people who were abused outside of the organization. And with the spiritual status rules it was easy for me to be attracted to brothers who I was not "scripturally" fit for. The first was not spiritual enough and then I fell for someone to qualified. Each brother, though, used verbal and emotional abuse to let me know how he felt, which only made my self worth depleted. So when I left I realized how conditioned I was to men treating me like nothing and being afraid of men who were nice. SO TOXIC. If those brothers had only treated me with respect, I realized, I would have not been so hung up on them. And hopefully would have realized how good men treat women. PS. Apparently a sister can not be 5 years older than the brother, this is disgusting in the eyes of Jehovah and "more importantly" the organization.
In Spain it is not at all common to find marriages with a large age difference….. in Spain marriages have little age difference that is normal in congregations……. On the other hand, the most normal thing is that courtships last an average of two years or more.
Hello there Justin. I want to talk to you about your point on male dominating culture. the basis of my comment is taken from 1 Corinthians 11: 3 . I was just reviewing your video and listening to some of your comments about the topic of women taking the lead. From my impression, it sounds like you're promoting women being equal with men. While I understand you have grievances with this organization that you're talking about, however, the fact is that there is a scriptural basis for the roles in which man ,woman and child have in relation to the family. Here is a link that I provided for you, where this guy, in my opinion explains it a little bit better than what the watchtower organization does. While I'm not here to be devil's advocate, I think if you're going to be talking about things of this nature, then you have to be well grounded in Scripture, and you have to speak with accuracy. Some things you say are true, however there are some things that you're saying that are inaccurate, and it's out of harmony and out of order with what scripture says. And I'm not explaining this from watchtowers perspective, I feel that this guy, who by the way, is not a Jehovah's witness, will give you a very fair and honest and practical explanation about this matter based on what the scriptures tell us. Happy viewing, and I hope that you learn something from his presentation, because I think he gives a very good sensible and practical application as to how the scriptures are to be applied and what role, a man and a woman should play in the family unit.th-cam.com/video/GD-ZPAAN6i0/w-d-xo.html

Very well put! It’s sickening the stuff that goes on while everyone looks the other way
I recognize I am in a toxic marriage with a narcissistic wife.
Actually the thought of having a daughter and raiser her in that backwards environment was one of the things that pushed me from PIMQ to full on PIMO.
@@m.arnold717 Good for you 👏👍
The so-called happiest "people" in the world do not exist. This peace is artificial because this peace is conditioned only on worship. In the intimacy of families, this happiness does not exist. It is only found in kingdom halls where all JWs observe each other.
Doesn’t make sense right. It’s like oh we love you, ONLY IF YOU Stay IN The TRUTH!!
The Watchtower society conditions men to be heads of families like 2000 years ago and conditions women to be subject to heads of families like 2000 years ago. Who today would like to live like 2000 years ago????
With that in mind...I Wonder what Life would be like in Paradise !?! (JW's New World)...🤔😲🤭

Glad you got out while you were young! Extra points for getting out before getting baptized. That’s when the game really changes.
The Watchtower drastically reduces the opportunities that real life can give us. The closer you get to the Watchtower, the fewer opportunities in life will become. The life of young JWs becomes more and more tasteless like a black and white life with a lot of grays.
Dang that was perfect said! 💪

See rev 1:1-3
Ergo, if we aren't happy ( seeing prophecy being fulfilled )our interpretation is in error.
That's why I never married while in the Organization.
You are the reason a woke up. Every video I watch leaves me so amazed😮. Man you are so good at this. (I'm Pimo). Thank you

This is fabulous. Simply awesome.
Sheesh! I'm glad you made it through that. It sure does seem like there's a lot of people in the JWs with anger issues and mental health issues.
Great video. I can attest to the fact that much older men in the congregation were looking at me as young as 14 to see if I could be a potential wife later. The pickings are very small for JW marriages.

I agree with what you said in the video about Jehovahs Witnesses.
You're comments are quite correct.
Win-win!

Please keep up the good work. You're doing a great job.
Thank you!

I also want to say how handsome and smart you are. You explain things very well. Thank you.
I couldn't agree more.
My Dating Pool shrank down to zero.
You hit the nail on the head repeatedly. I saw ALL that crap too. Everything you mentioned. Sick.
I recall several years ago, thinking that a brother in the hall had a shared interest, but then he said he wanted to wait until after Armageddon to marry so that he could get a perfect wife. Needless to say he ended up dying a lonely elder in that congregation long after I'd married an UNBELIEVER.

My ex-friend told me once that her husband (who is a logger in the boonies), he told her that if he killed her, no one would find her body.
Sheesh!!! And sadly even threats like that are not unusual in the JWs.
@@exjwdiaries I know, eh. One of my kids wrote a letter to the elders in one congregation, telling them firmly that they are apostates and pharisees. haha. It really shook up one elder.

That would be interesting! I’ll have to do some digging
Hiiiii Justin I like your vids!

That Organization tends to put some weird notions in a young lady's head regarding courtship and marriage...egged on by her parents.
The have a rape problem too! Drug and rape! But it’s kept quiet!
Why do jw women continue to put up with the degradation? The lack of respect from the men for their "mate" is disgusting. Married 49 years, my hubby knows that bs won't fly with me! We have mutual respect. ❤✌️
Unfortunately, they are programmed since birth that the degradation is okay…

cases like these fatten the file which is taken to the kings.
Why is all this going on?
Rev 11:6
