Superb this Alex! Watched again for the second time. Did Great Gable on the back of watching this the other week. It’s a stunning mountain, great views. Hope it’s inspiring more people to take to the hills. There’s nothing better than getting out there! Keep it up mate great work!
Spectacular and stunning scenery. What a wonderful place to immerse the senses. Love the drone footage and accompanying music, on point! Thank you for taking us along Alex.
👋 Hi there! I absolutely loved this video! 😍 The views are absolutely breathtaking, and your commentary was so engaging! 🙌 It's amazing to see the Lake District in such stunning weather, even if it was freezing! ❄ Wishing you a great weekend and looking forward to your next adventure! 🤗
Superb, speaking as one who used to make videos myself, though not a patch on yours, not too much blether and really beautiful footage. Great Gable is my favourite mountain!
Excellent footage Alex. I have a question for you: I will be visiting the lake district for the first time in early May from the US. Do you know if it's OK to walk off trail? I do a lot of trail running and I really like the idea of just going up the steepest part of the mountain to the summit via a steep spine or other scramble. I'll be in Ambleside. I can't wait to explore these hills. I won't have a car, but I'm sure I can take a taxi or bus or simply walk to some good trails.
My jacket changed because I put a warmer insulated jacket on which is a different colour. My bag is exactly the same, maybe less full now that I’d taken a jacket out.
There is a free version but to get the fully detailed OS map layover you need to get the paid version. £30 a year, under £3 a month, can’t beat it in my opinion, I’m on that app every day of my life 😂 highly recommend 👍
You don't need to be told this, but this video is absolutely stunning. Beautiful work.
Thank you so much! 😊

What happened 10 minutes and 8 seconds into the video? Your jacket suddenly changed from bright yellow to rich blue… and you rucksack altered also! 🤔
My jacket changed because I put a warmer insulated jacket on which is a different colour. My bag is exactly the same, maybe less full now that I’d taken a jacket out.
I went on Thursday we did 6 it was like a loop um it was pouring and really dangerous I nearly died
