Thank you Govenor Desantis. I am greatful, resideing in Arizona yet i needed to listen to your speech from Florida to be informed. I was very sad when our govnor asked for federal funds to close our border , yet that was ALL. No troops were requested; area was left wide open no further action.

Hobbs needs to learn the constitution
Governors and Presidents can veto any Bill to prevent it from becoming law. That’s in both State and Federal Constitutions.
Having been raised in a quiet community in Florida it irks me that we have so many people flooding in. My "little town" has been invaded. But then I think about what is going on almost everywhere else and I can't blame them. Blows my ever-lovin' mind that every other politician in every other state are not speaking these same truths, protecting the citizens and standing up for what is right....and that people have voted them in. Or continue to do so.
That's exactly why we need Gov. DeSantis as POTUS, after his term ends.

You're spot on. I moved from San Diego to Arizona about 6 years ago, right around the time that the state of California had really blossomed into its filthy crime and drug infested shit-hole. The amount of drug addicted homeless indigents that openly urinate and defecate anywhere they want - from the streets, sidewalks, and or city parks - while simultaneously littering the city with their used needles, raggedy tents, trash bags and God knows what else wherever and however they deemed fit - brought on an obscene amount of crime, prostitution and a massive amount of unrelenting burglaries.
It seems like it's gotten to the point today where there are only one of two ways anyone could afford to live in that cesspool of a state that California has become. Either you are wealthy enough to afford all of its exorbitantly high taxes and steady costs of living increases - or your impoverished enough to qualify for all the government state aid benefits, such as section 8 housing vouchers, food-stamps, medicare which the state happily and fervently delve out by the boatloads.
Some of these people really are in hard positions in life and justifiably need some help from the state to get back on their feet again - but it's those who collect said benefits, despite being perfectly capable of working for a living - simply because they would rather not get or hold down a job. Now that California is quite literally incentivizing this shameless, morally bankrupt way of life, I think it's going to take an act of God at this point to be able to drain the contaminated cesspool of a swamp that California has become.

She and her Democrat cronies have changed our voting requirements, so that even though we require people to prove that they are American citizens before they are eligible to vote, that there is now the ability to vote for President -called "Federal Only" voting so that now 300,000 have registered who CANNOT prove that they are citizens can vote! This is voter interference! She has exceeded the amount of vetos of any other Governor in Arizona. Remember, she was in charge of the voting when she was elected (she was Secretary of State), 40% of the voting machines "mysteriously" did not work on election day in Maricopa County (the largest county) and she sent the ballots to be counted to a third-party which did not do signature verification. She did not campaign, no one knew what her policies were-but she still "won."
