Seems like he did a decent job. I've worked for government agencies and its normal to ask folks to fill out a request for information, and give some detail as to what you want, so government employees don't have to drop what they are doing. It gets done in a timely manner. The Congressman seems to be all over the road as he's trying to get answers that are better addressed by another department (Homeland Security). No real need for a staff attorney to give a reason or leaving as its an HR issue. Maybe better pay, more opportunities, a more senior/management position, who knows.

To make matters worse, he actually became part of the team that prosecuted him. The fact that this was not seen as a conflict of interest is extremely puzzling. It shouldn't be surprising that people suspect there is a conspiracy going on to go after their choice for the next President of the United States.
