@@FatBlueLine6217 There' always a possibility, I haven't gotten a bad one yet and I have 3. When the gyro is reverse direction and not counter steering the right way, the car will immediately spin out. Have you checked to make sure it's the right direction? have you set end points yet?
@@AirToGroundRCFPV i have not sent endpoints and as far as the reverse setting, that is possible. I have to re watch your video on how to set that. When i hold that little button nothing happens.
@@FatBlueLine6217 Ok it's probably that. Just turn the transmitter on, hold down the button and turn the car on, wait till the fast flashing stops then let go of the button. It should do a slow blinking to let you know it's in setup up mode, then turn the wheels to the left and hold for a few seconds, it will re-center automatically, then let off the steering then turn to the right, let it re- center and then let go and then the light should go solid. That should set the end points and should reverse the counter steer to the correct setting if it was reversed. If that doesn't reverse the steering to the correct way do the same sequence to get into setup mode then go right first and left second. You might have to do it a few times until it is set correctly, they are kinda finicky so take your time and keep trying until it looks like it's right.
Thanks a million! It's been almost 2 months since I ordered my first v5 and adapters from aliexpress. I ordered an afrcg v3.5 cuz I got tired of waiting. But I also ordered 2 dasmikros direct from dasmikro but they don't offer the adapters. This will get my 1804 and 1899 going!
Wow, 2 months? Are you in the US because I've ordered 3 from different sellers and each one got to me in under 2 weeks. Sorry for your luck but I'm glad my videos will help you get them going once you get them. Let me know how they go when you do man.
No hace falta comprar adaptadores, con el que te trae el giroscopio v5 los cortas y los cambias por los del servo y los del servo por los del giroscopio, es solo invertir la posición de las fichas soldandolas.
Yeah I know, I already cut and soldered my own connector if you look closely in my videos you can see that but not everyone has the JR connectors or the ability to solder so they need adapters which is what I mentioned in part 1 and part 2 of these videos.
Hi, I purchased the LDRC 1802 1/18 FC3 RX-7 RWD, and I also bought the DasMikro Gyro V5. I have a problem: after installing it, when I accelerate and the car picks up speed, the wheels start to go crazy, moving very quickly from left to right. When I reverse, the car turns on its own after a moment. I've watched many videos with exactly the same car and gyro, and I haven't seen this issue. Are you able to help with this?
Most likely problems are you need to turn off the internal gyro everytime you power on the car otherwise it will interfere with the V5 and if you did that then the gain is too high on the gyro and you need to turn it down on the little knob on the gyro. With stock electronics you really can't go past 20-30% unfortunately and if that doesn't help either the last thing you can try is resetting the gyro and that's difficult to do, I go over that in my part 1 video on the V5 gyro. The link to the gyro in the description has detailed instructions on how to do it but its not the best detail and a little confusing so do your best if you have to go that route.
Hey bud was wondering if there is way to tell which wire is which on the dasmikro v5 like where is positive negative and signal at would like to cut and shorten wires make it look clean thanks for any info 😎👍
Ok so it's hard to explain without a picture to show you but lets say looking at the board with the 4pin connector on top right of the board and 3 pin underneath. All the way to the right side of the board the pins for each connector are the grounds. The pins second from the right are the power(so middle pin on 3pin and second to the right for 4pin). 3rd pin from the right for both is the signal for channel 1 and the 4th pin all the way to the left side of the 4 pin connector is channel 3 or any channel you want for gyro gains.
@@AirToGroundRCFPV nice one mate just ordered it all up got a 30a one I see another TH-camr use in his one also got the dasmikro on the way so should be a good chance of learning to drift without getting annoyed with the thing. Went for the mx5 1804. It’s a must to get my Ddf350 running with it cause I’m so used to that transmitter best budget one out there I’d say.

With this gyro connected, my car literally turns on its own just trying ti drive straight. Idk whats wrong. Can it be a defective gyro?

What do I have to change to run a dumbo rc receiver in these mate ?
You will need to swap out the electronics completely so a 10 to 20amp brushed or brushless ESC to go with the Dumbo receiver.
