you're right! i just tested it and my stamina went down to zero while the indicator was at green and i didn't lost the fish. i guess think of the green and red indicators as being zones. the fish has to stay in the green zone until you catch it. you need to keep it out of the red zone. if it stays in the red zone for too long and continues pulling away, you will lose it, even with you having full stamina! thanks for the catch! (pun intended 😸)
Thank you all for tuning in to my beginner's guide to fishing in THRONE AND LIBERTY! 🎣 I hope you found the tips helpful and that you're excited to try fishing in the game. 😸
For people still having issues and getting the "failed to pull" message.. keep the fish as close to the original floater point as possible, I just put my cursor on the spot to mark it before I cast. Once I started doing this, I stopped losing fish to that message. I don't know if the green/red light is supposed to reflect this, but it wasn't doing a good job for me.
yes you are right, the green and red light will indicate the imaginary "zones", you need to maintain your floater in that green zone, which is right at or near the original floater point. from my experience, i just always tried to maintain the green light which usually meant my floater is in the green "zone". i debated against putting this zone information in as i thought to keep this guide as simple as possible but thanks for pointing that out. 👍
same. it doesn't work like this at all. It must be broken or something. the fish doesn't lose stamina at all, and in half a second you get 0 stamina and it gets away.
I'm seeing mixed results from our fellow players, and tbh, i myself found it a little bit confusing at first but I kept at it and eventually got the hang of it. and yes, i am now lvl 50 and I haven't shelled out any money yet on this game, not even for the BP. i'll see first what the end game is like and if this is something I will enjoy playing for quite some time before I buy the BP (just to show some appreciation for the hours of enjoyment the game brought me).
if the fish doesn't lose stamina at all, even on the initial snap if you time it right, then that is most likely a bug. the game still has some bugs unfortunately 😾 probably best to report this bug if you have the time just so the devs are aware of it.
yeah this fish system is the worst i ever tryed they need to make it more easy, i done fishing in BDO, Elyon, Bless unleashed and other games this has the worst mechanic
the fish does not escape if your stamina turns to 0

@@rorounikenra The issue is the light doesn't seem to work all the time, so visually marking a spot and using that seems to work better.
tried this nonsense for an hour. float turns red and u lost fish. worst fishing minigame i've ever come across. so glad i didn't pay for this.

it works for me :) u must be doing something wrong, I try to keep my stamina above the fish icon
