That's so funny. I did nearly that exact same loop on the RS5 Max two weeks ago today. I spent a good bit of time just to the north at Mummy Mtn. as well. Those roads are so fun! Looks like another successful mission for the Punk Rider Pro.
Yeah, I was surprised it did as well as it did. It's the third scooter I've taken up there now, and it's really tempting to test out other scooters that claim high incline performance, haha.
@@tomsgadgetgarage Great record so far though with this scooter, the Go, the 300x and even the Max G2 that sort of made it. I think you took the Gallop up there as well but going from memory.
Very nice! That is some impressive speed even at the 15 Mph mark at the steepest part of the trail that was some good speed there. I can only imagine how the regen braking feels. Being able to customize the scooter's performance via the app is a great feature.
Yah I set the regen to 8/10 and it was very strong. Maybe even a bit too strong haha. Hard to capture it on camera, but it was so steep that if I just never brake, I could probably hit 50+ mph just with gravity haha.
Nice Scoot! One thing... you keep speaking about the regen braking, but you never seem to be depressing the regen brake lever on the left grip side. What am I missing?! I was under the impression that regen was only activated by using that lever; not by pulling on the front/rear brake levers. Thoughts, anyone? 😎
So the scooter has a dedicated regen lever but you can also activate regenerative braking when pulling the manual brake lever. This way you have both electronic braking and manual brakes with the drums. When you go into the app you can set the strength of the electronic brake when activated by a pull of the manual brake levers.
I could have used the dedicated regen lever but that grade was too steep for the regen lever alone.
Love the tests you put these scooters through! Please review the Teverun Fighter Mini !!!!
Thanks! If I can get my hands on one I definitely will. It’s a brand I’ve been eyeing for a while. Let me see what I can do.
Nice scooter did you see jow many miles i have put on mine so far??
I did not. How many miles have you got?
@@tomsgadgetgarage I have 1060 miles
