I don’t regret buying these. But there are always trade offs. This weekend I hydroplaned slightly in the highway rain. Though I was probably driving too fast, I do wonder if the A/T 3Ws woulda done better in that situation.
I got so excited that you were talking about that they don’t have the snow flake and I was hoping you were gonna say that they still do excellent in snow and ice but then you never did… :(
Great comment/question. We drove it to UP Michigan this week and experienced snow, ice and rain. I am as confident with these tires in any weather as I’ve been with any other tires. Enjoy the video of us literally smashing through a creek covered in a layer of ice 1.5 inches thick!
what rating are those ? Im liking the idea of this tire. i’m novice and learning about all the tire options is nauseating. The side that I want is rated C. But there’s D’s and one E that would work as well. (35’s).
Greg and Beth that’s a great question. The higher the rating (E is greater than C) the greater towing ability and stronger side wall. I chose C mainly because that’s what Jeep had originally put on the Rubicon and I had great success with those through ice, hail, snow, rocks, hills, mud, sand… if you’re gunna tow or haul heavy stuff, get the D or E. If you’re not, at least get the rating that originally came on the truck. For off-roading and towing and hauling, you also want to make sure it’s a LT tire rather than a passenger tire. Good luck.
How is the highway road noise. I noticed you said the Falken AT got to 70 decibles. How do these rate compared yo those? I currently have the Yokohama MT and they are loud as hell now after 31,000 miles. 81 to 82 decibles at 70mph
Hi do you know if I need the three Peak mountain symbol tires for Colorado ski slope? Thanks in advance I don’t understand about this or what’s state do I need it
By decibels (measured by an Apple Watch) these tires are measurably quieter than the wild peak mudders. However, in a soft top jeep, there will still be road noise.
Great video! Love the relaxed style and personality.
Glad you enjoyed!
"Badges of honor" Lol thanks for the video
R/T 01 Have 3 peak snow raking one tires 33s and smaller. Just ordered some 33 and they have 3 peak tasting.
Looking forward to impressions to the "regular" Wildpeaks...
Kevin, we put up a few short videos about our R/T 01 experience this weekend. Enjoy.
Thanks, i was wondering if they were 3pmsf rated and now i know they are not. It is a good looking tire. Hope they will do well for you.

They’re more like 33”(a little under) 315/75/17 is the size you described.
From Falken’s website (falkentire.com/Wildpeak/rt)…
34.1”.
Fal ken. Not fall ken 😂 great video.
I’m in Georgia. .. it’s Fall-kin. 😄
@@Jeep50statesThat's right! Speak your southern english just as natural as you please. Roll Tide.

Good question. These tires are a bit less noisy, but I’m aiming for all terrains next time.

Great question! I cannot answer that since we are not knowledgeable about CO’s laws for winter tires. Can anyone else answer the above question?
How is the road noise? I’m really interested in the Road noise.

@@Jeep50statesWell, you fixed that.😊
Are this RT less noisy than the AT ?
I’ve got the Falken Wildpeak AT3WA on my Escalade. I can say that the RTs are more loud than the ATs.
