Wow! I’ve pored over countless Royal class videos of the newer Princess ships, and this has to be the most comprehensive one out there. The commentary was flawless, especially given the length of the various sections of the video; pulling it off so smoothly without reading a script is not easily done. Hi I really liked this as going on sky and this is similar but I did notice that you completely missed out the outdoor eating areas at bistro le mer and the pizza restaurant and the promenade deck areas to sit out on out side the vista lounge

We have not had the chance to filmed the Sky Princess yet but are looking forward to doing so. They are pretty close to the same.

Do cruise lines change legal drinking age based on departure port or where they are? Curious because the US drinking age is so high compared to so many places in the world.
Usually based on port of embarkation.
That changes depending on the cruise line, and depending on the port of embarkation.

I read that buffet is not an option anymore, but all food is served now because of covid. Is that correct?
The buffet is open as normal, but is served to you instead of serving yourself at the different food stations.
Which cruise line has the best tasting complimentary coffee ☕️?
As the coffee connoisseur here at Harr Travel I'll take this one. A lot of that depends on if you enjoy espresso or a cup of black coffee. Celebrity does a great job with both, and you won't be disappointed. Oceania does a slightly better job, and their espresso is a step up. For espresso drinks I think the winner may be Virgin since they really do make an effort to have a legit coffee shop, both in the food hall and in the main promenade areas.
However, as I mentioned above it all depends on the roast date of the beans for that top notch coffee. The greatest latte I've ever had on a ship came on the Celebrity Summit, because they had just provisioned and it was a really good medium blend.

Unfortunately that is not info we have access to.
Hmmm ... if port is left and starboard is right, then ... either the deck plans on the Princess web site are reversed. Or ... when you were talking about the International Cafe & Salty Dog Bistro at the end of the video you had gotten yourself mentally turned around.
What happened to the gym?
I went on sky princess to Norway guess the design is the same? Every time you went to the buffet you would get blasted be hurrican force freezing winds most dumbest design.
Just one thing water slide
I have been cruising with Princess since 1973, and I am appalled to see that there are NO pools on this ship (or the Sky) that have steps as an entry. Only ladders. WHICH OLDER AND / OR HANDICAPPED PASSENGERS CANT USE!!! Given the aging demographic of Princess passengers, this is a horrible oversight. I will not be able to cruise on any of these newer ships with my mother. Its infuriating!!
@TheCarChick, that's incredible to have been a Princess passenger all these years! I dearly miss the original Pacific/Island Princess & the Sitmar ships. What I wouldn't do to go back in time.
They have handicapped lifts for the pools. Do you really think they'd just not offer anything?

This sounds utterly humiliating! Your body might be fine, which is great for you. However, I can assure you that very few ladies are going to feel sexy, sassy or even fun if they have to take a A HANDICAPPED LIFT in to the pool! Sheesh. It's like waving huge arrows or signs that say "look at me. I need automated help getting in the pool!" 😵😵💫
I personally enjoy walking down the stairs to the open water of the pool. Are we meant to jump in?

You make a fantastic point. 👏 Are we supposed to have only 2 ways to get in & out of the pool? We have to choose between:

#1 - Jumping in the pool
or
#2 - Climb down the ladder?

What's the sexy option of getting in or out? 😅
I enjoy dipping my toes in the water as I'm at the top of the stairwell leading to what may be a gorgeous pool. If the water's too cold it might take a few minutes to make it in the pool, which is perfectly fine! I'm enjoying standing at the beginning of the pool water.
I continue standing on the stairs, knowing that I'm not being rushed. I can get in on my own terms. No one behind me rushing me off the ladder.
With a normal pool having stairs, I might dip my foot until it's acclimated. Then i slowly enjoy walking down the stairs, more & more until I make it in as deep as I want to go.
All the while I've been enjoying the pool the entire time.
Handicaps should stay at home 💀
