I am a solo traveler. I am a Princess cruise girl. I agree 100% with you! My friend is a Royal girl. Royal seems too many people, too many kids, too much partying. No quiet spaces. Princess IS more refined. As am I. Lol.
The wife and I were on the Enchanted this past May. First time on Princess. We loved it so much, we booked the same ship for the same time next year while onboard. We love princess. The cruise director made it extremely enjoyable. Duvaul Gamble. "Welcome to the Wake SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW"
Hubby and I did our first 2 cruises on Princess. We knew nothing about cruising and just happened pick them because the ship was new, and it was within our budget (first one was an inside cabin). We've been hooked on cruising ever since. Love Princess and can't wait to sail on the Enchanted next year.
It is good to hear good comments about beautiful Enchanted Princess. We love that ship. The people working there are very efficient and kind with everybody.
Just got back from the Enchanted Princess with my family. It was a great experience. At the end of the cruise, they said we had 500 some kids on our 7 day cruise. I rarely seen my niece and nephew throughout the day, as they made friends quick. But it was nice being able to track their locations, through the medallion.
We were just on this ship last week and it was amazing. It was my second princess cruise and this ship was so much better than our first experience on the Caribbean Princess. Great review!
Yes, the Caribbean Princess is their oldest and def. not-as-nice ship. I really enjoy the Regal... which is now getting more than a few years on her. Trying the brand new SUN Princess soon. It is a big different. A lot of glitz and big screens everywhere. Many additional dining venues.
We just went to Alaska via Discovery Princess which was our first princess cruise. So far out of all the cruises I’ve been on Princess has the best service from start to finish. The food was delicious in the dining room and the lido deck, everything was nice and fresh and warm unlike some other buffets who food is cold sometimes. The bed was small but very comfortable and our room was also kept clean by our house keeper. There were only a few cons for me and the biggest one is the wheelchairs they use to transport you from the ship to the next area are very small and meant for people less than 150 pounds. I struggled to get in and out of that small wheelchair and I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe in that wheelchair. We had the wheelchair accessible cabin and they did a wonderful job modeling the cabin for disabled people. I loved that the bathroom had a raised toilet seat which was something I was concerned about along with plenty safety bars and a seat in the shower. Having free movies and tv shows on our television in our cabin was a huge plus. The ship was just beautiful and the staff were superb. I highly recommend princess cruise and can’t wait to do another one.
I am so glad to see you like Princess. My honeymoon was on the Island princess back in 1989. 600 Passengers and the service was absolutely the best and still is. Hope to see you guys on the Discovery with JT,s group
We are going on out 4th princess cruise Dec 6 2024, First time on Enchanted. Been on several RC cruises, few celebrity's 1 or 2 carnival( not out favorite) 1 MC leaning toward all Princess now. Since we prefer at least 10-14 day cruises, we are running out of ver been before islands. Have done the Alaska cuise as well as the Panama canal cruise. Guess next one might have to be Pacific or cross the Atlantic.
Princess is fantastic, couple things. I love your video, spot on to Princess! I’d love to add, kids are not noticeable because the kids clubs are fantastic and they keep them busy and engaged. Last go to the club at night 😂you will find the party people!
I just happened to be scrolling and your video popped up. My last Princess cruise on the Discovery Princess (twin sister to Enchanted) was kind of disappointing - too many people Thanksgiving week (never again). But aside from the Disney Magic, I thought the best service I have had was on a Majestic Princess cruise to Alaska. And those Princess ships are beautiful. Love the medallion technology too.
Thank you for the review! I’m looking at ideas for a 25th anniversary cruise. We’ve been on Disney, Carnival and Royal. Looking for something more for just us new empty nesters 😊
New sub here. We are cruising on the Enchanted Princess this October - NY/New England/Halifax. Hopefully, we will see the fall colors. I really enjoy your channel!
We cruised on the Enchanted in the Mediterranean….it was fabulous…we loved the Sanctuary and the Capri dining room…I see nothing wrong with changing extra for another lobster tail……
Hello, I enjoyed your video! I have done about 30 cruises and I really liked and settled in with Celebrity. I had my first Princess cruise recently and I am hooked! I sailed on the Emerald Princess, but I know it is an older ship, and I would like to try the Enchanted Princess next. Personally, it is uncomfortable for me to watch the tv from the bed. I would like to ask you if you know if those tvs tilt, so that you can watch from the couch? I had a mini suite, so that was not a problem ( 2 tvs), but now I am looking at different cabin choices. Thanks so much for your help! Take care...Cathy
Been on eight cruises on seven different lines, the last being on the Regal Princess out of Galveston. We liked it so much that we booked the 13 night relocation from Galveston to Fort Lauderdale on the Regal Princess and the 29 day Transpacific from Seattle to Singapore on the Discovery Princess. Even though I am 65, I like the younger vibe on Princess. Unlike on HAL, I do not have to listen to "When I was cruising 40 years ago..." I think that the entertainment is better than HAL and the food is quite excellent (especially the buffet) other than the steaks in the MDR which are never tender. Good video. By the way, what lines have you sailed on??
@@reo7575 September 28, 2025 Discovery Princess out of Seattle 29 days through Alaska, Japan and ending in Singapore. Sorry for the delay. In Honolulu after 30 days at sea ...
I am looking on booking an enchanted princess. We just got off Harmony right before the hurricane came through ( live 25 min from the galveston port) and I was not impressed with the ship or the food. I am booking enchanted. Thank you for your video.
Only on the formal night if you want an extra Lobster, you can order multiple main entrees without extra charge, only lobster night is extra for more lobster, almost all other cruise lines charge for extra lobster too.
I thought I heard this was your first cruise on Princess. If so, how did you get an Elite status mini bar set up that I saw you had gotten in your stateroom. I assume you got it because I will infer you're a travel agent
Glad that you enjoyed your cruise, but you should have gotten the Plus package. It's the best value at sea for only 60 per day. Gratuities, drink package, WiFi plus other included items such as two casual dining meals.

I love the idea of them bringing food or drinks to you whenever you are. I heard they have the premiere and premium package .
Was the Icecream free on movie night ?

I love Princess. I took my daughter on her first cruise on Princess she said it set the bar.

Love Princess and excited to sail on Enchanted in January
I love the Princess Cruise line
I love the video. Was it just me or did anyone else almost jump out their chair when the applause started to happen.
😂
Great ship. Great food. Great entertainment. Great staff. The best and I have been on quite a few Princess and other lines. Great time.
Couldn't agree more!
keep up the good work:). Did the ship's MDR serve hot Indian chai tea in the mornings?
We never made it to breakfast in the MDR. Slept in! 😄
I'm interested in this cruise line. How is it for solo cruisers? Any advice?
We saw many solo cruisers. It’s really great service, food, atmosphere
The June 22 7-day out of Ft. Lauderdale is a Match singles cruise, just sayin
Thank you for your review

We have been on 1 out of NY and really enjoyed it
I am 64 years old and have some mobility issues, do any pools on Enchanted have stairs, not just the ladder.
I believe only the back pool has stairs.
I’m only 5’1” and not much of a swimmer…should I bring my water belt for the pool? I do need to cool off.
If it makes you comfortable I would.

Hi there. The tv does not swivel. But it was big enough that we could watch from the couch.

As the comedian said on princess this ship is a big party.....people are staying up to 1,2,3.....minutes past 11 o'clock!!

How late do they keep the pools and hot tubs open?
I don’t recall the exact time but they stayed open pretty late.
