Eyeah I started to hate Morty now cos he is the reason the episode conflict had happened especially season 5 with the sperms! I loved the spaghetti episode cos Rick finally called Morty out for his dumb shit actions but it seen he never learns from it! Like seriously at this point, the amount of adventure they had, you would think Morty would follow Rick order to the tee! Sure Rick plans doesn't goes to plans but he less likely to screw it up than Morty!
The thing is that Morty actually had improved and had learned from his mistakes. But this season, meaning the season Justin Roiland left, they have reverted Morty to worse than season one in terms of mistakes. Most of his mistakes before this season were actually somewhat reasonable but this season, his mistakes are because he’s stupid and does them because that’s his new characterization.
@@rayleigh8 Roiland had nothing to do with the story or characters by the time he left. It was well known he had taken a back seat and only showed up to do the voices. Doesn't excuse the writers for going backwards with Morty, but Roiland had very little to do with anything past season 2 or 3.

lets be real here, WHY did rick need to make the door see-through? Even Rick didn't think about Morty's inability to be stone cold. Its a show but Rick literally set him self up with that. He should have distracted morty OR put a passcode on the door to prevent it from being opened by morty. Physical security is a serious job, and Rick fails that often. I do think morty is being bad at following a simple task, but rick is also at fault for allowing morty to even open that door at all. should have kept bigfoot more securely locked up. both are idiots.
season 4 got extremely boring by having morty so advanced that he was just unaffected by rick, which can be funny sometimes but the whole dynamic this show is based upon is the top dog under dog thing rick and morty have going

Morty this season is just really out of character compared to the last season. Someone mentioned to me that there still part of him in the arcade game from last season and I think that's a very crucial part of him. That or the writers just wanted to retcon his development.
Even though Morty lost a bit of development in that episode, Rick did learn to be more appreciative He paid a lot to make sure the woman lived a fulfilling life, respecting her decision to stay. He literally built robot Rick to make Morty happy.

How many episodes are we gonna see the old "oh Rick actually cares about Morty", but it's done so badly, unlike the older episodes like when Rick cries when seeing himself pickup a baby Morty, or giving his collar to Morty, telling him to be better than he is. How long are they gonna reuse the same arcs for both of them. It's getting tiring and becoming a downright parody of itself.

No matter how much Rick teaches Morty to stop trying to "help" others, he does it regardless to the safety of his own life. Morty always acts like the victim in any story, but often times he only makes himself his own victim. You'd think he learned that lesson with King Jellybean back when that happened... but seems like that is a memory either repressed or cast aside.
As was pointed out in the season... six(?) finale, Morty's whole deal is being ultimately kind and forgiving. Which is why he makes a fun foil to Rick.
Idk these voices sound really nice sounding or more peaceful compared to the other versions of Rick and Morty. And WTH is up with Morty fucking up all the time like seriously wtf
