The borg and Unity thing, i just realized that "borg" race is called "Beta-7" as in "Beta Males" . it was a commentary on how Rick has that toxic Alpha Male mentality and the Betas were there on the side, second place to Rick in Unity's mind. meanwhile, i'm not even sure Rick sees Unity as the entity that it is. Unity might not even be "female". if Unity reproduces by assimilating the males and females of other races, then Unity itself might be genderless. Unity just chose to represent itself with a female because it knew that Rick prefers females.
