    @lavelli matheus Thanks for the file. I hope that this was able to help you out. Great job on the file I can't wait to see the final result.
    Just a little recap - No need to use NLA, Use a rest pose as action or just as rest, and finally use edit mode to reset. (The first two points are more guides, but quite important when working on larger projects (In my experience) ) If any one else has any different methods for fixing this, please leave a comment.
    If you have a file you need help with send it in, (I cannot promise that all files will be used but I will try my best)

    Helloo,
    I have wached the "Export Action Editor Shape Keys to Unity | Blender 3.0 + Tutorial" over and over again, and now, I'm here having the same issue. My key shapes aren't working in Unity. The animation is working fine in Blender, but when I export it there are so many things happening.
    First try included, an animation with shape keys for two different mesh objects, a position animation for four and rotation animation for two mesh objects. When exported to Unity shape key animation was working but the others with position and rotation were problemetic (only one was working, one missing object and four not in their places, checked the normals and position applied for all of them also all of the key frames are green or yellow)
    Second try included I deleted the position and rotation animations and turned everything into shape key animations, again everything is working fine in Blender but this time when exported to Unity the animation is playing like it is in this video 00:28 and nothing is happening. So I've wached the "Export Action Editor Shape Keys to Unity | Blender 3.0 + Tutorial" over and over again but it didn't work.
    The only differece is that I don't have a rig in my model. Do I need it to be rigged in order to make a shape key animation work?

      i dont know why Blender need so much black magic to export a single mesh with vertex deformations.

    was here for something completely else.. but then your weird stuff saved my life. Selecting all object and going to edit mode fixed broken shape keys in unity but not in blender.

    Is it possible to animate eyeballs to move with shapekeys if they're not part of the mesh?
    My model has been imported to unity, and the blendshapes work, up until i get to the eyeballs, which are not part of the mesh nor are they visible in the blendshapes menu. is there any way to get those blendshapes to appear/work? or a way to make them move like they're supposed to? (i'm intending to use this model as a VRM avatar.)

    May be You can have a one more tutorial like this..I have been working on physics simulation and trying to convert it to shape keys and driver or Point cahe, Then I want to export it to fbx and glab and also to unity..
    This task has multiple challenges for me. Start from simulation and to exporting I am facing complex challenging for last 2 days..
    Could you accept my file and try it? or kindly guide me to solve

    hey, I don't know if it's posible to import a lattice deformation with shape keys to unity

    • @Polyfable
      @Polyfable  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most likely not. But one could still extract the deformations using MDD. (Very old technique though, and generate very unoptimized shape keys, but still more performant in some cases over simulations, especially on mobile.)

      I would love to... But unfortunately I have other commitments at this time. Once I have finished with these projects I would love to get back into the swing of things.
      I am currently programming V2 of the backend of my new site... And it is taking a lot out of me.
      Stay tuned. I will return!

    Hello I am such a beginner at blender I want to make 2D anime looking animations but it’s so frustrating I really need help do you know if there’s any like courses or lessons for someone to teach me every little detail from scratch ?

    • @Polyfable
      @Polyfable  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My first suggestion is not to look for a blender tutorial. Instead go directly to an anime style animation tutorial/course. Then use that knowledge in conjunction with Blender. Check out Aaron Blaise. He doesn't do Anime, rather Disney 2D style. But the same principles apply. Only in Anime there are a few more shortcuts (Which lend to its unique style) (I am also generalising grossly)
      Blender is only one tool for the job.
      I would also say be patient as well. Blender is a really deep software and it can take a while till you are comfortable with it.

      I get the frustration though... When I first started I didn't know how to move the cube for a week. Haha...

    Hello. While using the shape keys, we can see the movements I made in the edit mode in the key and value sections. The part I'm wondering is, is it possible to create many movements in the edit and see them in a single value? So I meant to have it on a key without generating new keys

    • @Polyfable
      @Polyfable  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. The answer is only if you want the movements to occur at the same time. Also, one movement cannot go into another movement. Think action + reaction. Shape keys are really powerful for tweaking the mesh and forcing silhouettes. But for more mechanical stuff, I recommend rigs.

    I just found your website today, will you be also teaching us complex stuff like rigging, animating, maybe some environment stuff too?
    Do you have like a request feature as well? I'm thinking of maybe getting lifetime, but not too sure.
    I'm more on my phone, than on my PC, it would be nice to just like learn Blender by just reading kind of.
    My interests are anime characters by the way.
    Also I noticed on the pricing there's a star next to beginner and advanced. Can we not get to level 40+ on the free one?

    • @Polyfable
      @Polyfable  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great questions. Currently The levels take you through the basics of Blender and we end up creating a simple character at Lv 15 (Around 30 or so hours of Content)
      Then after that there are also courses for more specific stuff. For example, materials and the sort.
      Aye, 100% More advanced stuff is on the way. Right now I am focusing on upgrading the backend to V2 while I also build up the library of Levels 15 - 40, which will be going over sculpting, 2D animation and rigging and animation. (There will be pathways, so you don't have to learn 2D animation if you don't want to)
      Aye, that is quite the idea indeed. While the site is Mobile friendly. It is all mostly video based at the moment. But it is an interesting. Idea, I will look into the feasibility of it.
      Currently Free Tier can go to Level 3, but as more content comes out this may increase. (Potentially, I am still thinking about the free tier and how best to tie it in, I want it to be fair)
      All the best,
      Hayden.

      @@Polyfable Nice, I got the lifetime about 2 weeks ago. Even though I know a bit about Blender thought it would be worth it in the future.
      I haven't even finished the first level but I'm at like 750 tokens and 4 course tokens now, are these used for future levels?
      Also what's the whole point of the VDB cloud pack, are they hard to make, not sure what the appeal is, I'm completely a stylized anime type of guy.
      Will you be adding more things in the shop? Maybe some grass or rocks?
      Is the 15% discount used for the shop or could I of used it for the lifetime? Just hoping I didn't sike myself out of a good deal lol.

      @@Haroon_Hassan_Asghar
      Thank you so much for the support!
      Aye, the tokens will be useable on more things as I expand the offering.
      VDB static files are a little difficult to make purely in Blender. Great for true volumetric cloud objects.
      And yes. I have some very cool things coming shortly. (Such as materials, Scanned rocks and Animation packs)
      The 15% is just for the shop Aye.
      I have some pretty big news coming about the content and the website coming in the next few months based on everyones feedback. Let me know if you feel like something is off/could be better.

When I submit for both my assignments around the end of May, I'll have a lot of courses to follow till I start my first year in September, so I'll definitely probably check yours out as well.
