I totally agree! Bruces singing is so good on this album and (in my opinion) much better than on Book Of Souls. Really a great effort. Can’t wait to hear these songs live and feel that unique “Maiden feeling” ⚔️🎶
hell on earth is a hell of a banger. like a sister to hallowed, the dark themes of death and suicide but somehow uplifting at the same time. I wanna hear that one live and scream LOST IN ANGER
I totally agree! Overall I think they all perform superbly. Best singing from Bruce in years, best guitarsolos in a long time, huge rythm-section sound and overall a very very good Maiden album ⚔️🔥
Great interview with the man himself!! I also think that the new album is stunning, and considering how long Maiden have been in this game for, we are very lucky to still have them making great albums, with the same passion for it that they always had...fair play to them!! But an even better album is the 'Somewhere Out Of My Mind In Time' it's brilliant that one :-D
Ha ha ha ha 😂 I would love to hear that album: A fusion between one of my (many) Bob Dylan favorites and my favorite Maiden album 👯♀️ Anyhow, thank you so much for the kind words. Really appreciated ✌🏻❤️
This channel deserves at least 1 million subscribers, I follow you since the angus young interview, great quality, great questions, I also love the nick cave interview with such a particular angle. I think that a steve albini interview would be really interesting. Thank u for your work sir, cheers from Italy ❤
Gabriele! Grazie! ❤️✌🏻I really really REALLY appreciate your very kind words. This channel is a labour of love. The idea is not to make money, fame or clicks, but to bring passionate and dedicated music interviews to fans and folkowers. So it makes me both proud and happy, that you have been here on Tiny TV ever since the Angus Young interview, which was my first “big interview” 💪🏻😍 And YES, Steve Albini, Jack Antonoff, Rick Rubin and producers like that would be GREAT to have on this channel 🎉
😏 Maybe we are the first Spiritist band of PopMetal Rock. Check out our sound and lyrics. But don't pay much attention to the rustic English, hahaha 😁🎧❤️
It's the best album since Brave New World easily The 80s Maiden won't get back, since X Factor Maiden has this prog vibe, slow intros and long songs, just deal with it people All songs are good, unlike Book, Frontier, Matter and Dance Beautiful songs, great melodies, amazing solos A solid 9/10 album
Shawn, I really have to agree with you here! 💪🏻 In the full interview (coming next week) Bruce talks about how different fans love very different things about Maiden. Some love the long epic works, others (like me) like the short riffy songs etc. With Senjutsu I feel like Maiden made their best effort since Brave New World in terms of bringing new stuff to the table and merge the short riffy songs, with the long proggy ones. I really really enjoy Senjutsu. And thanks a lot for taking the time to comment and for watching Tiny TV. Means a lot to me 💪🏻❤️⚔️🔥
Except it is better than BNW, which is an album that doesn't really know what it wants to be or where it wants to be... It's kind of in Purgatory. Senjutsu is a rock solid record with only a couple of bad moments and a couple of the usual bad habits from post No Prayer Maiden, that's why the first 7 albums are untouchable.
@@kmsharley75 for me it's the best since Powerslave 9.5/10.Only thing i would have changed would be to make the instrumental on Lost World slightly more varied and/or speed it up for a minute or 2 in the middle but otherwise it's damn near perfect
To those who criticise their new album please don't get yourself wrong maiden has been 40over years and to me all their song are really good to listen even their age over 50 years they are a great band
You are so very welcome Daveqr ✌🏻 I always try to make the people I talk to, finish what they have to say. Some interviews I get to ask 12 questions, other interviews only 3-4. But I’d rather hear what the artists have to say, than I want to force my own agenda into the interview. So I’m happy that you enjoyed. Thanks for watching Tiny TV and for taking the time to leave a comment 😎👍🏻
Album is a masterpiece. This and final frontier for me are the best maiden albums since 2000. Bruce's vocals are the best since 2000. The drums, guitars bass etc all amazing. I was really disappointed in book of souls, for me very boring and the worst album from maiden(except if Eternity should fail, speed of light). I've been actually shocked how amazing this album is!, considering I didn't really like dance of death, amolad, BOS, and brave new world I thought was just ok with sprinkles of amazing here and there. But Senjutsu is one of their best. After 40 years they can put out one of their best albums.. not many bands can do that or even have the ability to still make an album. I fell off Maiden a bit, but I'm fully back in and had this album on repeat!.. 5. Peace of mind/powerslave 4. Final frontier 3. Senjutsu 2. somewhere in time 1. Seventh son
Thank you so much for these thorough thoughts and opinions Smilely. I think we have the same “Iron Maiden taste”. I was not very fond of Book Of Souls either and also hold Senjutsu up to the (in my opinion) high standards of Brave New World. Overall I am totally thrilled! AND still totally embaressed that I called the “Somewhere In Time” album “Time Out Of Mind” (which is one of my favorite Bob Dylan albums) 🤦🏻♂️😬🤦🏻♂️😂
In the old days Paul Diano good Clive burr awesome, then Bruce and nico take things another level, Clive awesome drummer imagine being that good and get fired?
Bruce, PLEASE get Roy Z to record the next album. Kevin Shirley is NOT a fit AT ALL for Maiden. Senjutsu has such great material hindered by production on several songs. Roy Z can handle it. Kevin's incapable. Not my opinion. Actual facts.
A literal 'bad' production sounds like X Factor. Drums & vocals much higher than strings, weak amp recordings, and dull frequencies that lack tonal depth. Senjutsu has solid tonations, evenly layered track leveling, and clear harmonies. So, it is not 'fact'. If ears other than yours can hear a smooth production, that makes your statement a subjective opinion, not an objective fact. If you hate Senjutsu's sound, then right on. But dont say its awful for everyone. Many of us readily disagree.
@@blakksabb It's a FACT. Very uneven, unleveled production. Definitely my ears, and the ears of everyone I spoke to who has the album. mediocre production. Love Maiden. Wish they woke up. SHIRLEY BLOWS. It's most definitely not good for every single listener INCLUDING you.
@@Frankamentise Right on buddy. I at least accepted that it sounds bad to you. You want me to swallow your pill and take your word for it, even tho songs like DaysofFuture, Senjutsu, Writing, and HellonEarth have clear distinct solid mixes as I am hearing. You lack respect buddy. Do you also lack a good sound system to listen to this album with? Peace out holmes ✌
@@blakksabb Stratego has the best mix. TWOTW 2nd best. Day's Of Future Past was ruined because of it's production, and I love that song. The rest is unstable production wise.
@@Frankamentise Most Maiden albums have an unstable production. Very few of their studio recordings are truly precise. To Tame a Land. Brave New World. Montsegeur. The Duelist. Caught Somewhere in Time. Strange World. Theres a few others. Otherwise most of the albums around those songs gets muddled, uneven, or lost in mix. Entire records like Fear and X are buried in bad production. Maiden is a live band, and take a live approach to studio recordings. This tends to develope into mediocre productions. Thats a drawback of their style of laying down tracks. But we get a raw flavor from each song. A total lack of commercial polishing that many bands use as a studio crutch. Senjutsu is not much different than most other Maiden albums as far as mix production mastering quality. As I hear it, that is. Stratego does have the best overall polished sound on this album, but DarkestHour and Senjutsu have the best fullest sound of these songs for me. It all depends on what our ears like to hear, man. Thats what Im sayin ✌
Just don't get Installed!!! Pretty please, Bruce... Do not get "installed," okay?? Do not get installed in the Chair of King Solomon!!! And I really mean, do not.
They do know their songs well!! It's just that if you press them real hard... and I mean follow the Logic really well... they will have to admit, they are worshipping the Devil ;)
With all the media attention ABBA have had, it probably will sell well. People like my mother, who likes "easy listening" music will probably buy it. I wonder how many ABBA "fans" would be willing pay £70 for a beautiful marble effect triple fold Vinyl LP? People will still be listening to Iron Maiden in 20 years, nobody will be listening to ABBA.
Killer album. Epic Hell on earth. Bruce 'S voice is still insane. Can' t wait for the live

The only issue with the album I have is that Bruce’s voice and Steve’s bass both seem to be under mixed.
The greatest singer in the history of metal ..
Nikko is a BEAST on this Masterpiece..
