Great observation. The town of Lund (also a rail town) was named after Robert Charles Lund. a Utah State legislator, local mine owner, and a director of the Union Pacific Railroad. Robert was a brother of Brigham Lund. I am in the editing stage of a video about the town of Lund. Thank you for the comment. Have a wonderful day.
It's a shame there's graffiti inside to spoil that great old ghost town look. What a great spot. Like to ride a horse through there and get some film. How do today's remaining residents get their drinking, bathing, cooking water?
It is a shame how people treat historical sites. I saw another TH-cam video when i was researching Modena, where this lady's kids were in the old hotel destroying things. Makes me sick. As far as water, I would assume well water would be available, but I cannot find any info on that.
@@TodaysOutdoorAdventure I saw that video too and it made me so angry. I was just in Modena and there are no trespassing signs everywhere for a reason!

I noticed that there is a town called Lund about 40 miles to the ENE -- presumably the same Lund.

The Lund name is still huge in that area. Lots of them are in Cedar City. Nice tour and history notes.

Glad you enjoyed! Have a great day!
The residents may not consider their town a ghost town.
Or they may be happy to be living in a ghost town. Have a great day!
